I've never seen NXT Takeover: Revenge but I have seen the house it built and it is terrific.

I think the Revival should win the titles back here. NXT could stand a good back-and-forth, titles keep switching tag title feud where both teams take each other to the absolute limit every time. If they do, I believe that would make them NXT's only two time title holder. Neville was a two-time tag champion with separate partners. Add those to his run with the main title there, and he's actually a three time title holder.

I meant holding the same title more than once, like how Chris Jericho is a 9 time Intercontinental Champion. Did not know that about Neville, however.

Just announced on NXT, American Alpha to defend their tag titles on this card in a rematch against The Revival. I think the Revival should win the titles back here. NXT could stand a good back-and-forth, titles keep switching tag title feud where both teams take each other to the absolute limit every time. I'm not sure I really want the Revival sticking around much longer. People push the whole Arn Anderson thing, but I think Dawson gives off more of a Steve Austin vibe. I'd sort of like to see how Dawson would do working the ornery, irascible, beat-up-anyone-just-because angle. Start running his mouth a bit more.

I should probably figure out soon if I'm going to watch this one or not. Don't presently have a Network subscription and not watching Raw and the PPVs right now so not much reason to get one for those, and dunno if this card is good enough to make me want to drop the money on it. Only match I really care about is the tag match, which we've seen before, but Takeovers do usually deliver so is at least worth considering despite that.
Though man that main event. I just can't possibly care about Balor / Joe.

The Takeovers at Full Sail are really boring. I like watching them but just when they have them in Full Sail the atmosphere doesn't feel powerful.

This is the end of NXT as we know it thanks to the brand split. That place is going to be taken down to the studs and rebuilt with a whole new cast.

Still they wouldn't be that transparent about it, would they? I feel like they're teasing something about the future of NXT that they can spin as a positive.

That'll morph to NXT Takeover: Smackdown by the end of the show I'd wager.

Yeah this will suck. I mean I don't mind the split but basically desolating nXt how it is now may make my decision as to whether or not I keep the network

NXT is the only watchable thing in the WWE, so it makes sense for them to kill it off.
But seriously, I am a wee bit concerned.

After they promoted the A Day to Remember song. Tom Phillips thanked them for the song for Takeover..The End.
So I think they changed the name of the show.

Could be just referencing "The End" of the Joe/Balor feud, probably.
(It's gonna be funny when Trips has to send out clarification that, no, NXT isn't being cancelled)

I highly doubt they're actually going to end NXT when it's one of the major incentives for buying the WWE Network and one of the best things going in WWE.

You know the freak out over the name, the name could also just be referring to the Joe/Balor series or one of their runs in NXT. Smart marketing to take advantage of all the change in the air for what seemed a ho-hum special before.
