Friday Night Smackdown: November 28th, 2014 – Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana
Before the weekly intro video, a video package was shown of Seth Rollins viciously turning on his Shield brethren. The camera then cut to the arena, where Tom Phillips, Booker T and Byron Saxton quickly introduced things and hyped Seth Rollins’ first match since joining the Authority tonight against Adrian Neville. They then sent it to the ring for our opening segment. Chris Jericho was in the ring for tonight’s Highlight Reel. He began by welcoming the fans to Smackdown and bringing up Survivor Series. “I was a member of Team Ziggler and we were victorious! Unfortunately, I was the first man eliminated from the team. Now, normally that would upset me but everyone here knows just how good I am. I am still, indeed, the best in the world at what I do. It was a miscommunication with Cody Rhodes that cost me my spot in the match but I don’t worry about things like that. In fact, Cody is my guest tonight so come on down!” Cody Rhodes obliged and made his way down to the ring. They two men shook hands in the middle of the ring before taking seats. Chris began by asking Cody about his great run through the Survival Trials. Cody responded, saying that everything just came together and he came very close to a title shot. “I am on the best roll of my career. I beat several future Hall of Famers during the Survival Trials and won at Survivor Series.” Jericho seemed put off by this comment and mentioned that he was one of those guys. Cody admitted that he meant no offense. Jericho moved on to discuss this past Monday, when they teamed up again. “I direct you all to the obesely expensive JeriTron 6000.” Footage aired of the loss they took to Bo Dallas and the Big Show where Jericho tagged himself in, only to get knocked out. Cody said that looked like it hurt. Jericho gave a chuckle before blaming Cody for it. “It is all your fault. I tagged myself in to show you how it’s done and I got distracted with teaching you, allowing Big Show to hit me. You’re drinking your own Kool-Aid man. You went on a little winning streak and beat some big names but that doesn’t make you special.” By this point, both men were out of their seats and in each other’s faces. “I’m sick and tired of guys like you acting like you’ve done something. How many World Titles have you won? How many WrestleManias have you headlined? You think that just because your last name is Rhodes, you’re owed something.” Cody interrupted, shouting at Jericho, “I AM NOT OWED ANYTHING! I AM EARNING IT! I respect everything you’ve done in your career but you still need to watch what you say when you speak to me.” They stared at each other until Jericho backed off and went to leave, saying that they should cool off. Once Cody turned his back, Jericho got back in and clocked him with the microphone. Jericho continued to fire away with the microphone, bashing Cody’s face in. Jericho headed outside and brought a steel chair into the ring. Cody got to his knees and Jericho struck him in the back with the chair twice. He then slapped on the Walls of Jericho, wrenching away at Cody’s back until officials rushed out to break it up. “What the hell has gotten into Chris Jericho?” asked Tom Phillips.
Chris Jericho’s attack on Cody Rhodes was recapped and footage from the break aired of Cody being helped to the back by officials. Dolph Ziggler now made his way to the ring and waited for the next person to answer his Intercontinental Championship Showoff Open Challenge. “Quiet on the set…can we please have quiet on the set?” was heard as The Miz and Summer Rae walked out to the ring. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP – DOLPH ZIGGLER (C) DEF. THE MIZ W/ SUMMER RAE IN 10:09; These two certainly have history with one another. The two Superstars originally from Cleveland went toe to toe here. Due to their past, they knew each other well and had several reversals and countered ready. Ziggler scored on the Fameasser but Miz was able to get the shoulder up. He attempted the Skull Crushing Finale but Ziggler blocked it with elbows and nailed the Zig Zag to once again retain his championship. Post-match, Ziggler celebrated with the title atop the turnbuckle while commentary mentioned that he has really sent back all challengers since Hell in a Cell. The Wyatt Family came down to the ring and Erick Rowan set up the rocking chair for Bray Wyatt. Bray sat and had a microphone in hand. He started talking about this past Monday. “Shane McMahon challenged me to a Chairs match and I was oh so happy to accept. You see, at TLC, my takeover of the WWE takes a big step forward and in the process, I will inflict as much pain on Shane McMahon as possible and when I am done he will beg to be saved by my hand. But maybe I won’t save him. Maybe I’ll just allow him to perish while I reign over this company. But I am not here to talk about Shane McMahon. I have other things to discuss. You see, I crave power. Power comes in many forms and one of those forms is championship gold. That’s why I had Erick Rowan and Luke Harper send a message to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Daniel has quite the past with us but understand this Daniel…it’s not the same this time. I know better than to try and save you again. You’re a stubborn fool. This is not personal. This is not about saving your lost souls. This is about Harper and Rowan taking the Tag Team Titles from you. That is, if you are even able to defend them after what happened on Monday.” Bray began to laugh while Harper and Rowan stood behind him, looking like the next challengers for the Tag Team Titles. ERICK ROWAN AND LUKE HARPER W/ BRAY WYATT DEF. LOS MATADORES W/ EL TORITO IN 2:46; Total dominance. Los Matadores did their best but the Wyatt Family is on a mission. They destroyed Diego and Fernando finishing off when Harper laid out Diego with a discus lariat. Bray stood up from the chair with a wide grin, knowing that the Wyatt Family is in full control right now.
A vignette aired to hype up the Ascension’s upcoming debut. They were still in a wasteland but stated that the wasteland was coming to Raw and Smackdown very soon. The cameras then cut to see Renee Young, standing by with Seth Rollins. She asked for his thoughts heading into his match with Adrian Neville tonight. Seth looked offended at the question, citing that he obviously feels very confident. “What the hell has Adrian Neville done in his career? Was he the architect of the Shield? No. Did he then single-handedly end the Shield? No. Hell, he was NXT Champion but even I did that first and you know what they say; often imitated, never duplicated. Tonight, I’m going to make an example out of Adrian Neville and I hope Dean Ambrose is watching. That is, if he’s finally conscious after Monday.” WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP – ALEXANDER RUSEV (C) W/ LANA DEF. KOFI KINGSTON IN 7:43; Kofi Kingston got a shot at Alexander Rusev during his open challenges earlier this year, but always came up just short. Tonight, Kingston came out firing, trying to take an aggressive approach against the “Bulgarian Brute”. The crowd came alive as he managed to knock Rusev to the outside. His high risk style was costly as Rusev caught him mid-dive and drove him back first into the ring post. From there, Rusev wore down Kofi’s back, looking to set up the Accolade. Kofi broke free and hit Trouble in Paradise but Rusev kicked out. Lana looked scared at a potential loss at ringside. Rusev regrouped and made Kingston tap to the Accolade. A pissed of champion refused to break the hold, even after Lana gave the signal. “THREE AIN’T ENOUGH, MAN I NEED FIVE!” Big E came rushing to the ring and slid in as Rusev released the hold. The two big men traded blows, which Big E won out and clotheslined the US Champion over and out. Rusev left with Lana while Big E checked on his buddy.
Tom Phillips now took the fans to a video package that recapped Emma’s assault on Paige this past Monday. She put the former WWE Women’s Champion through the announce table with a Michinoku Driver and Paige had to be taken out on a stretcher. Tom informed the WWE Universe that Paige joins Roman Reigns and Bad News Barrett on the shelf and is going to be out of action for a month or two. EMMA DEF. NAOMI IN 3:49; The brand new WWE Women’s Champion once again showcased her vicious side. Emma took it to Naomi from bell to bell and reminded everyone of what she is capable of. Naomi did get to strut her athleticism and went for the Rear View but Emma held onto the ropes to avoid it. She clocked Naomi from behind and applied the Emma Lock to win. The crowd booed as Emma snatched her new title from the official and demanded a microphone.
Emma addressed the fans, stating that Paige is gone. “Your precious little ‘Anti-Diva’ has been put in her place. She’s in the hospital where you belong after I get done with you. I told all of you that I was done being a silly little dancer. Trying to get the adoration of all you got me nowhere but now I have this and there isn’t a woman on this roster…hell on this planet that can take it from me.” Emma hoisted the title high in the air when suddenly “LET’S LIGHT IT UP” was heard. AJ Lee stepped onto the stage to a chorus of cheers. She had her own microphone and spoke to Emma, saying that she applauds her getting rid of Paige. “I tried to do the same but the bitch wouldn’t stay down. Kudos to you, I sincerely mean it. But there’s a major difference between us. I grew to respect Paige. You clearly don’t and you attacked her from behind. Last time I checked, that isn’t the thing a Women’s Champion should do. Speaking of the Women’s Title, that’s what I wanted to be since I was a child. Not Divas Champion, though I do miss my baby. Women’s Champion. I’ve beaten you in the past, I survived last Sunday and I beat Nikki Bella on Monday. I’m coming for the title, I’m coming for my birthright. I promise you, I’m the woman on this planet that will take it from you.” AJ dropped the microphone and blew a kiss towards the ring.
A recap aired of Brock Lesnar’s brutalizing John Cena at Survivor Series. It then showed Batista issuing a challenge to Brock Lesnar, only to be interrupted by Randy Orton and then Cena. Stephanie McMahon came out and officially made a match for TLC, where the three men who started with Brock down in OVW in the early 2000’s, would face off to determine a new number one contender. Once again, Renee Young was in the back, this time interviewing the Prime Time Players. She asked them for their thoughts about Harper and Rowan coming after the Tag Team Titles. Titus spoke, saying that they don’t really care about who the champions are, but it’s about time they get their shot. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd and Natalya walked up to them, interrupting the duo. Kidd spoke, “Excuse me? You two get a title shot? Last time I checked, we were the hottest team in the WWE. Fact. We were the sole survivors at Survivor Series. Fact. And we are the team that spoke with Stephanie McMahon and have been granted a title shot this Monday night. So get to the back of the line.” Darren stated that they would have no problem beating them tonight and taking that title shot. Cesaro interjected, saying he and Kidd aren’t idiots and they aren’t risking their shots. “But once we win the titles on Monday, we’ll be happy to give you, the Wyatts and anybody else a shot. Why? Because we’re the best. Fact.” SETH ROLLINS DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE IN 10:10; This was not the cakewalk that Seth Rollins expected it to be. He tried toying around with Adrian Neville in the early goings but found Neville to be one resilient superstar. So much so that Neville fired off a series of kicks and scored on a big reverse rana that brought the crowd to their feet. He climbed up top and scored on the Red Arrow but Seth managed to get his foot on the bottom rope. Neville couldn’t believe it so he climbed up top again but Seth got his knees up on that high flying attempt. He recollected himself and nailed the Curb Stomp for the victory. Not happy with how tough this was, Seth picked up Neville and dumped him outside. Seth Rollins stood alone in the ring with a smug look on his face. The crowd’s boos turned to loud cheers and the cameras caught Dean Ambrose running in through the crowd. He tapped Seth on the shoulder and Seth’s face completely fell. He slowly turned around and was met with a flurry of right hands from his former Shield brother. Dean laid into him until Seth ducked a clothesline, dropped down and scurried up the ramp. Ambrose wanted him to get back in the ring, but Seth left, living to fight another day.

Monday Night Raw: December 1st, 2014 – BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Tonight’s Raw opened with a video package focusing on Seth Rollins. At Survivor Series, he turned his back on the Shield, leading to their breakup. Last Monday, he left Dean Ambrose laid out, but Dean got a measure of revenge on Smackdown, chasing Seth out of the ring. After the opening pyro finished, Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and John “Bradshaw” Layfield welcomed the viewers to the show and promised a huge night. “Tonight, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan defend the Tag Team Titles against the hottest new team in the WWE, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro. Plus, John Cena goes one on one with Batista. But before all of that, Stephanie McMahon has a historic announcement to make regarding the Money in the Bank briefcase.”
Stephanie McMahon made her way to the ring to a loud chorus of boos. The coveted Money in the Bank briefcase hung above the ring and she looked up at it once she entered. Stephanie waited for the crowd to die down before getting to the point. She reminded everyone that Authority member Bad News Barrett captured the Money in the Bank briefcase. “Unfortunately, Barrett was one of the casualties, along with Roman Reigns, of the brutal Team Authority victory at the Survivor Series. He’s going to be out for a long time and is scheduled to be out of action by next June. For those of you that are too stupid to remember, Bad News Barrett won Money in the Bank this past June, meaning that he could be out until past his deadline for cashing in. Being the McMahon that I am, I understand that having a Money in the Bank holder is best for business. Therefore, as much as it pains me to do, Bad News Barrett has officially been stripped of the briefcase.” The crowd popped for this news before Stephanie went on, saying that a new briefcase holder would need to be crowned. “I think that Barrett was a great choice for the Money in the Bank holder and I feel that the man who takes his place should have similar values. He should be someone that can be trusted. He should be an A+ player. That’s why I’ve handpicked a new Mr. Money in the Bank. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you…Seth Rollins!” Some incredibly loud boos filled the arena as Seth Rollins walked down to the ring with the smuggest of smirks. Seth hugged Stephanie and got on the microphone, telling the audience that the partnership with the Authority is already paying off. “Think about it. If I was still with the Shield, I wouldn’t be in this position to become Mr. Money in the Bank. I told all of you last week that Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were holding me down and you need to look no further than that very briefcase.” Seth requested that the briefcase be lowered down so he could claim it.
The briefcase stayed in place, causing Seth Rollins to get mad. Stephanie McMahon shouted for someone to lower it because she’s in charge. The crowd popped big time as “Real American” hit the loudspeakers and WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan stepped out onto the stage. “What in the world is Hulk Hogan doing here?” asked Michael Cole. Once Hogan allowed the fans to quiet down, he spoke directly to Stephanie McMahon saying that her being in charge isn’t 100% true. “You know something WWE Universe brothers; Stephanie McMahon has been running Raw for over a year now and to be honest, the results haven’t been successful.” Stephanie laughed, saying that Hogan is a senile old man who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. She took credit for the WWE Network and WrestleMania 30’s success. Hogan challenged those claims, saying that Daniel Bryan deserves the credit for WrestleMania and Vince McMahon does for the WWE Network. “But I’m not out here to squabble with you Stephanie. I’m out here to make some announcements. First of all, as much as Stephanie likes to say that she’s in charge, she still answers to a Board of Directors. And let me tell you, they are not pleased with how you’ve run things and especially with how you allowed the owner of this company and the COO to both be taken out of commission, while you sit back and try to reign. So, tom combat that, they’ve assigned a new Co-General Manager around here. Oh, and his name is Hulk Hogan!” The WWE Universe exploded while Stephanie’s face dropped. She protested, shouting that he couldn’t do this. “YOU DON’T HAVE THE AUTHORITY!” Hogan responded by saying he is the authority now and motioned for a cut and Stephanie’s microphone stopped working. She was furious but Hogan continued, saying that handing over the Money in the Bank briefcase isn’t best for business. “I give Bad News Barrett all the credit in the world because he earned that briefcase. Seth, you can’t call yourself a man if you just take something you didn’t earn. Lucky for you, I’ll give you the chance to be a man. You can earn that briefcase because it certainly won’t be given to you. You can earn it at…say…the TLC Pay-Per-View. And you can earn it in a TLC match. And you can earn it against this man.” Seth’s face fell and nearly dropped to the floor when Dean Ambrose’s music hit and he walked out carrying a ladder. Dean set it up next to Hogan, shook hands with him and climbed to the top before pointing at a very distraught Seth Rollins.
A recap played of the opening segment. “Already tonight we have a new Co-General Manager in Hulk Hogan and we now know that Dean Ambrose will go one on one with Seth Rollins in a TLC match to determine the new Money in the Bank briefcase holder in just under two weeks!” explained Michael Cole.
Dolph Ziggler stood in the ring, awaiting the next person to answer his Intercontinental Championship Showoff Open Challenge. A theme played that hadn’t been head on the main roster in about two years and the NXT logo appeared on the mini-tron. Evan Bourne stepped through the curtain to a pop. Ziggler looked impressed that challenges were now coming from all places.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP – DOLPH ZIGGLER (C) DEF. EVAN BOURNE IN 12:11; The first two entrants way back in the 2010 Royal Rumble shook hands before beginning. Once the match got going, it became clear that it was one of the better in recent Raw history. Both guys worked at a fast pace and the crowd fell for the several near falls throughout. Ziggler connected on the Fameasser for two and Bourne got the same after a reverse rana. The challenger climbed up top for AirBourne but Ziggler got his knees up and rolled over into a pin. Bourne kicked out but once they got up, Ziggler hit the Zig Zag to retain. Just like before the match, the two shook hands afterwards and commentary reminded viewers that Bourne is part of the NXT Title match at TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way next Thursday.
In the back, new Co-General Manager Hulk Hogan was seen walking. Stephanie McMahon angrily came up to him, demanding that he change the match at TLC. Hogan declined, causing Stephanie to let out a loud shriek. “I’M GOING TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND I’M GETTING YOUR AUTHORITY REVOKED! THIS IS MY COMPANY, IT HAS BEEN MINE SINCE THE DAY I WAS BORN!” She stormed off towards the parking lot while Hogan looked on with a smirk.
Next Monday, right here on Raw, the WWE presents the annual Slammy Awards. “And we’ve got the most A-List master of ceremony possible, the Miz!” said JBL. Miz hosts the Slammy Awards next week! Tom Phillips was now shown standing by with “The Big Guy” Ryback. He asked for Ryback’s plans now that he beat his former partner, Curtis Axel. Ryback said that with Axel finished, he can focus on the things that really matter. “Feeding time. The Big Guy is hungry and he’s hungry for some gold.” ADRIAN NEVILLE DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL IN 3:33; Two of the WWE’s best high flyers did battle here. Justin Gabriel, friend of Tyson Kidd, has shown a more cocky and brash attitude in recent months. Adrian Neville was on a mission here though and defeated Gabriel with a reverse rana. Neville got to his feet and celebrated with the WWE Universe, continuing his hot streak since healing from his leg injury.
A limousine pulled up to the arena. Out stepped Mr. McMahon to a huge pop, being seen for the first time since the Wyatt Family attacked him the night after Hell in a Cell. Renee Young came up to him to ask for his thoughts on the Wyatt Family. A concerned, scared look came over Vince’s face. “I’m not here to talk about the Wyatt Family, nor am I here for any sort of confrontation. I’m here to the podcast with Steve Austin and go back home.” Vince nervously walked away.
A recap aired of the altercation this past Monday between Emma and AJ Lee. After picking up a win, Emma bragged about the heinous attack she delivered on Page last Monday. AJ interrupted and staked her claim for wanting the Women’s Title that she dreamed about since childhood. AJ LEE AND NATALYA DEF. EMMA AND SUMMER RAE IN 4:19; A lot of the time, a champion will do their best to stay away from a potential challenger during a tag match like this. Not Emma. She jumped at the opportunity to go toe to toe with AJ Lee and they were brutal with one another. Things calmed down a bit when Natalya and Summer Rae got involved, though Michael Cole made sure to mention their past as rivals on Total Divas. AJ Lee ended up catching Summer in the Black Widow, staring down Emma while doing it. It was then that Emma chose to back away and Sumer tapped out. Emma snatched her title and began to head to the back. AJ Lee grabbed a microphone and stopped her from leaving. AJ stated that she didn’t get enough of Emma tonight and she wants more. “How about we do this for real? You and I, at TLC, for that title?” Emma clutched the belt tightly but nodded her head in agreement. “Another huge match has been set for TLC in Cleveland!” said Michael Cole.
Returning from break, the Wyatt signature hit and the three Wyatt Family members appeared on the tron. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper stayed in the background, flanking Bray Wyatt, who spoke to the camera. Bray started by saying that he saw Vince McMahon had arrived. “Don’t you worry your rich little head Mr. McMahon, we’re not going to harm you. We don’t have a personal vendetta against you or your family. We just want absolute power and it seems clear that you understand just what we are capable of. You know who doesn’t realize this? Your son. I thought that he would learn it just as easily as you did but Shane is a stubborn boy. Shane beat me. Shane brutalized me with a steel chair. But you see, that doesn’t bother me. That ignites me. Shane McMahon is biting off more than he can chew. At TLC, I will not be responsible for what happens to Shane. Abigail will not be responsible for happens to Shane. Shane can only blame himself.” Bray ended things with a poignant “RUN.” JOHN CENA DEF. BATISTA VIA DISQUALIFICATION IN 12:09; These two have headlined a SummerSlam and a WrestleMania, but this was their first ever match on Raw. Batista hammered away at John Cena, sending him to the mat. Batista held serve for most of the match, showing off his incredible power. Cena is no slouch in that department though, using it to rally. He hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle and signaled for the Attitude Adjustment. Just as he hoisted Batista up for it, Randy Orton ran to the ring and planted him with an RKO OUTTA NOWHERE! The official called for the bell and Batista got to his feet. He and Orton locked eyes and motioned to take Cena out. As Batista went to grab Cena, Orton struck with another RKO OUTTA NOWHERE! Orton posed over the tag team partner he just laid out and is in the driver’s seat heading towards TLC.
The ring was now set up for Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel. As he walked to the ring, footage was shown of his attack on Cody Rhodes this past Friday on Smackdown, when Cody was a guest on the Highlight Reel. Jericho smiled as he watched the end of the video before addressing the booing fans. Jericho claimed that he doesn’t care what they think. “I came back and pandered to all of you and it got me nowhere. I didn’t beat Alexander Rusev at SummerSlam, I didn’t do well in the Survival Trials and I got eliminated at Survivor Series. I went home and took a long look in the mirror. I remembered that whenever I was on top and a World Champion, I wasn’t paying attention to you stupid idiots.” Jericho stopped ranting on the fans and brought out his guest for the night, Goldust. The “Bizarre One” made his way to the ring and Jericho immediately went into asking questions. Each question was meant to insult Cody Rhodes and Goldust answered them just way. “I was sitting at home, done with the wrestling business. Then Cody got himself fired because he couldn’t beat Randy Orton. Being the good big brother that I am, I returned to defend the honor of our family name. We went on to make a great tag team that took the world by storm. But Cody got selfish. Cody wanted to branch out on his own, acting like I was holding him back. If it wasn’t for me, Cody would have never caught fire in his career again and we would have never beaten the Shield.” Jericho agreed, saying that Cody is indeed a selfish partner, which he found out at Survivor Series. Suddenly, the crowd began to roar and the camera caught Cody Rhodes charging to the ring in street clothes. He slid in and tackled his brother to the ground, wailing on him with right hands. Chris Jericho took this time to exit the ring and escape. Cody dared him to get back in and when Jericho didn’t, Cody turned back to his brother and planted him with the Cross Rhodes. Jericho backed up the ramp, furious with what happened to the Highlight Reel.
In the back, Renee Young interviewed the WWE Tag Team Champions, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. She asked them about their health just one week removed from a Wyatts assault. Bryan said that they are both still not 100%. “The thing is, as Tag Team Champions, we know we have to defend the straps and regardless of our condition, we weren’t gonna miss tonight.” Punk added that they’ve known Cesaro and Tyson Kidd for years. “You two have become quite the resident jerks around here but understand that we hold these titles for a reason. We are the best in the world and that is a fact. And once we’re done with the two of you, we’re coming for Erick Rowan and Luke Harper.”
BIG E AND KOFI KINGSTON DEF. BIG SHOW AND BO DALLAS IN 5:28; The tandem of Bo Dallas and the Big Show continued to showcase a surprisingly good chemistry. However, Big E and Kofi Kingston proved that their friendship lends itself to some good teamwork as well. Big E impressed many as he completed took out Big Show with a spear through the ropes. Kofi Kingston nailed Dallas with the SOS and tagged Big E, who pinned him following the Big Ending. The celebration was cut short by the arrival of the WWE United States Champion Alexander Rusev and Lana. Most of the time, Lana does the talking but tonight, Rusev had the microphone. He shouted at Big E, telling him that he made a huge mistake on Smackdown. “You stuck your stupid nose where it didn’t belong. I already crushed Kofi Kingston but now I’m going to crush you!” Big E signaled for him to come to the ring but Rusev responded with “Not right now you imbecile! I make the rules! I will crush you on my time!”
An advertisement ran to promote this Friday’s episode of Smackdown. Michael Cole welcomed Paul Heyman via satellite. He thanked Paul for joining them, but Paul didn’t seem to care. “Can we hurry up with this? I have important things to get to” said Heyman. Cole went on, asking Heyman for his thoughts on the upcoming Triple Threat match at TLC between Batista, John Cena and Randy Orton. Heyman cut Cole off and said that he had just one thing to say on the subject. “I’m sure those three men will be involved in a hellacious war for the opportunity to get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Those are three sure fire future WWE Hall of Famers and any one of them is worthy of being champion. But this is no normal situation. Do you know why Michael? Because the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion is Brock Lesnar. The 1 in 21-1. The Beast Incarnate. At the end of the day, one of those three men will win and at the end of it all, one of those three men will lose to Brock Lesnar. They won’t even just lose. They will get beaten, they will get brutalized and they will get victimized.” WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – CM PUNK AND DANIEL BRYAN (C) DEF. TYSON KIDD AND CESARO W/ NATALYA IN 21:16; One of the best main events on television all year long. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro made sure to attack the injuries that CM Punk and Daniel Bryan sustained last Monday. Kidd and Cesaro mainly focused on Bryan, cutting the ring in half and working on Bryan’s back. Cesaro nailed the popup uppercut on Bryan and covered but Punk broke things up. They went for their combination giant swing/dropkick spot but Punk intervened and sent Kidd outside. Bryan finally freed himself enough to tag in Punk, who came in hot. Punk hoisted Cesaro up for the GTS only for Kidd to springboard in with a dropkick. Cesaro set Punk up for the Neutralizer just as Bryan laid out Kidd with the Busaiku Knee. Punk back dropped out of the move and hit Cesaro with the GTS. Bryan slid in and nailed Cesaro with the Busaiku Knee before he fell to the mat. Punk covered and got the 1-2-3. Exhausted and ready to collapse, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan were handed their Tag Team Titles. They were unable to enjoy it though, as the Wyatt signature flashed across the screen. “Oh god no” said Michael Cole. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper were now in the ring and they immediately attacked Punk and Bryan. Thanks to their lengthy match, the champions were unable to put up much of a fight. Rowan stepped outside and retrieved a table from under the ring. He slid it inside and set it up, while Harper laid Punk on it. Harper and Rowan hoisted Bryan up and double chokeslammed him through Punk and the table! “The Tag Team Champions have been broken in half!” exclaimed JBL. Harper and Rowan picked up the Tag Team Titles off the ground and stared at them until the broadcast ended.

WWE NXT: December 4th, 2014 – Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
Kicking off NXT this week was the weekly intro video. Following that, it cut right to the arena, where the commentary team of Tom Phillips, Jason Albert and Bryon Saxton welcomed everyone. With just one week remaining until TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way, all of the final pieces of the show would be set up tonight. BARON CORBIN DEF. ELIAS SAMSON IN 0:11; The quickest match so far for the “Lone Wolf”. He almost immediately caught Elias Samson in the Ed of Days and got the 1-2-3. As soon as he won, his music quickly stopped and Mason Ryan’s hit. Corbin headed right up the ramp to greet Ryan and they came face to face. The crowd wanted to see them go at it, but security and officials rushed out to stand in between them. Things are going to be heated next week at TakeOver.
An advertisement aired to promote the latest WWE Film, Jingle All the Way 2 starring Santino Marella and Larry the Cable Guy! A vignette was now shown focusing on Hideo Itami. It showed his debut in NXT and win over Tyson Kidd. We the see the random attacks that Tyler Breeze laid on him and Tyler calling him “Hideous Itami”. Itami returned from these attacks last week to take out Breeze and now, they’re set to face off next Thursday at TakeOver. The cameras cut backstage where Devin Taylor stood by with Tyler Breeze. She asked him for his thoughts on the upcoming match at TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way. He seemed irritated that Devin would disturb him looking at himself in his cellphone. “Listen Danielle, just because Hideous Itami got the jump on me last week, doesn’t mean that I’m nervous or worried for next week. I beat Tyson Kidd and Kalisto at the last two TakeOver specials and that streak will continue. You think I give a damn if Hideo can kick hard? Guess what? The supermodel kick and Beauty Shot are harder and next week, I’m going to rearrange that ghastly face of his.”
NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT SEMI-FINALS – ENZO AMORE AND COLIN CASSADY W/ CARMELLA DEF. THE ASCENSION IN 4:19; The former longest reigning NXT Tag Team Champions found themselves in trouble here. The Ascension beat Enzo and Cass back at TakeOver in May. This is a different Enzo and Cass this time around though. They showed a newfound aggression and were able to dish out as much as they took. The Vaudevillains, who clinched a spot in the finals last week, came out to watch from the stage. They showed up just in time to see Cass big boot Konnor off the apron and launch Enzo onto Viktor to advance to the finals. The crowd popped as Enzo and Cass celebrated with Carmella, while the Vaudevillains’ faces turned into crooked smiles.
A commercial ran to plug TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way next Thursday night. NXT Champion Sami Zayn puts the NXT Title on the line against Kevin Owens, Corey Graves and Evan Bourne, plus Sasha Banks defends her NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley and so much more! CHAD GABLE DEF. DASH WILDER IN 2:01; The All-American Real Americans were at ringside at the start, watching to see if Chad Gable is worthy of joining them. From the opening bell, Gable was impressive. He took Dash Wilder to the mat and the work done was smooth and seemingly effortless. In short order, Gable scored with a rolling German suplex and bridged it for the 1-2-3. Commentary and Zeb Colter were impressed, but Jason Jordan seemed the most intrigued by what he saw. Jack Swagger still clearly didn’t seem convinced though, signaling for his guys to head to the back, leaving Gable miffed.
Devin Taylor stood by with the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, Bayley. She asked Bayley about the thought process of challenging Charlotte to a match just seven days before TakeOver. Bayley stated that before she can top Sasha Banks, she has to overcome her demons. “My first one on one shot at the NXT Women’s Title came against Charlotte and she beat me. And now Sasha has beaten her twice. I need to prove to myself that I can beat Charlotte before I step into the ring with Sasha. I need to be ready for the biggest match of my life.”
SOLOMON CROWE DEF. ANGELO DAWKINS IN 0:56; In a recurring them effort the night, this was another short bout. Solomon Crowe looked like he wanted to kill Angelo Dawkins and made him tap out quickly to the stretch muffler. Crowe shoved away the referee and looked to be in fine form for next week’s showdown with Finn Balor. The lights went out in the arena and there was silence for a few moments. Then, a heartbeat was heard and with each beat, red lights flashed around the arena. This happened about eight times before it stopped and Crowe was left confused at this.
A WWE Shop advertisement was shown, with Superstars and members of the WWE Universe wearing official merchandise. BAYLEY DEF. CHARLOTTE IN 7:05; After their last match, Charlotte had a change of heart. Due to that, she was quick to shake Bayley’s hand before things began. Once the bell rang, this was a competitive back and forth battle. Charlotte slapped on the Figure Four, but couldn’t quite get the leverage to make it the Figure Eight, as Bayley turned it over. With Bayley on her knees, Charlotte tried for Natural Selection, only for Bayley to avoid it. Charlotte climbed to her feet and turned right around into a Belly to Bayley to end things. “Bayley has just picked a huge win before her huge Women’s Title match” exclaimed Jason Albert. Bayley requested another handshake from Charlotte, but Charlotte declined, only to pull her into a hug. Bayley is ready for Sasha Banks
Closing out the show tonight, the four participants in the upcoming NXT Championship match all came down to the ring for one final face to face. Once all of them were in the ring together, Kevin Owens spoke first. “I just gotta say, I really don’t want to be here. I came to NXT to win gold and to provide for my family. I’m not going to do that by talking to the three of you so I’m out of here.” Fuming through Owens’ words, Sami Zayn interjected, saying that it is just Kevin Owens to walk away. “You walked away from our tag team, you walked away from our friendship and you haven’t given a damn explanation!” Sami continued until Corey Graves told him to shut up. “I’m sick and tired of hearing about what Kevin Owens did to you. All I hear is about the friendship you two used to have. I don’t give a damn about that. People seem to forget just who I am. All the talk has been about you two, when it should be on me. I’m regaining that title that you stole from me in England and I’m going to become the first two time NXT Champion. Bicker on your own damn time.” Sami and Corey came face to face now, while Owens laughed in the middle of the ramp. Evan Bourne chimed in now, saying that if there is one forgotten man in this match, it’s him. “Everyone is overlooking me. Did you all forget that I’m the only one here who has competed at WrestleMania? I’m a former WWE Tag Team Champion and I’ve beaten future Hall of Famers. Last time I checked, I also beat you Corey…while you were NXT Champion.” “Oh bravo buddy. Congratulations. You realize that you aren’t on the main roster anymore right? And the reason for that is because you’re too stupid and got in your own way and because you flat out aren’t good enough” responded Corey. With that, Bourne laid into Graves with a right hand and they began to trade shots. Sami watched them for a second before swiftly turning and launching himself over the top with a tope con hilo onto an unsuspecting Kevin Owens. The NXT crowd went wild as Sami finally got his hands on Owens, even if just for a moment. William Regal appeared on the stage, signaling for officials to come out and restore order. Kevin Owens was quick to get behind them and hop over the guardrail to avoid Sami. Graves was about to lock Bourne in the Lucky 13 when the officials to in between them. All hell has broken loose with just one week remaining until TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way!

Friday Night Smackdown: December 5th, 2014 – Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
The first thing we saw when the show began was a desk. The camera panned up to reveal Hulk Hogan sitting behind it, garnering a massive ovation from the WWE Universe. Hogan addressed them, saying that his first Smackdown in charge will be a big one. “First off, one of the men set to compete for the Money in the Bank briefcase at TLC, Seth Rollins, will be in action against Christian. That’s not all brothers, because CM Punk will get a chance to get his hands on one of the men who attacked him in recent weeks, Luke Harper.” The crowd responded positively to both announcements, before finishing by saying that things will open with Dolph Ziggler’s Showoff Open Invitational. The weekly intro video played, followed by a video package recapping Hulk Hogan’s return this past Monday. The commentary team of Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and Hall of Famer Booker T introducing the show on commentary. “Here to Show the World” hit, signaling the opening contest. WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP – DOLPH ZIGGLER (C) DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW IN 8:11; Everyone, including Dolph Ziggler, was surprised to see the former Money in the Bank winner answer the challenge. Damien Sandow hadn’t been seen since Xavier Woods broke up their team at Survivor Series. Sandow was aggressive here, showing a side we hadn’t seen in him recently. Ziggler has proven to be one of the most resilient Superstars on the roster over the past few months and weathered the storm. He nailed a Zig Zag, seemingly from out of nowhere and kept his title. The crowd popped as the official handed Dolph his title, but his night was not quite over. “Break Orbit” played over the loudspeakers, cutting off Dolph Ziggler’s theme. Adrian Neville walked out onto the stage, causing some confusion in the WWE Universe. Neville had a microphone and started by congratulating Ziggler on another successful title defense. “Like you Dolph, I grew up wanting to be the Intercontinental Champion. When I watched the British Bulldog win that championship in front of 80,000 people at SummerSlam 1992, I knew that I wanted to get to that level. The fact that you’ve gone out of your way to make that title important again is something I must commend you for. Now I know I could have come out any night, including tonight, and you would have given me a shot. But I have a proposition for you. I want to make history with you. Let’s showoff together. You and I at TLC…in a ladder match!” The fans came to their feet at the thought of this match. Dolph got a microphone from ringside and eagerly accepted.
John Cena’s music hit as he came down to the ring to his usual mixed response from the WWE Universe. Once inside, Cena let the crowd die down before talking about how hot the fans in Oklahoma City are tonight. Cena said that he wasn’t out there to take up too much of their time because he knows the fans want to see action. “I just wanted to address Randy Orton. Batista and I beat the hell out of each other on Monday and one of us was going to come out on top, with all of the momentum heading into TLC. And then you had to come out and hit one of your RKOs out of nowhere. Then, to show exactly the kind of snake you are, you gave one to Batista too. I shouldn’t be surprised by this though. This is how it has been since our days in OVW. Brock Lesnar and Batista were freaks of nature and I was working my ass off just to keep up with them. But then there was Randy Orton. He came in as the company favorite and didn’t have to earn anything.” Cena brought up Orton always being a pouty, protected, sneaky person and things haven’t changed in twelve years. Just as Cena was about to go into a story, Randy Orton himself snuck in and planted him with another RKO OUT OF NOWHERE! A mixture of cheers and boos rained down as Orton posed over the fallen body of John Cena. “For the second time this week, Randy Orton gets the better of John Cena!” exclaimed Byron Saxton.
Going backstage, the lovely Renee Young was standing by with the tandem of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, along with Natalya. She asked them about losing their shot at the WWE Tag Team Titles on Monday. Cesaro responded by saying that they aren’t scared to admit defeat. “We lost to two former World Champions and we’ve only been teaming for about a month. I promise you that if we get another shot, you’re looking at your next champions.” Tyson spoke next, saying that their focus has shifted to the Prime Time Players, who have been a thorn in their side in recent weeks. “I’m going to beat Darren Young tonight. Fact! Nattie, do you have my phone? I have to facetime with the cats before the match for good luck.” Nattie responded, saying she didn’t have it. “It’s okay buddy, you can use my phone” offered Cesaro. Tyson shook his head at Natalya before thanking Cesaro and walking off.
BIG E DEF. THE MIZ W/ SUMMER RAE IN 4:49; Despite a history of accomplishments, the Miz has found himself in a funk as of late. Tonight, he ran into a train known as Big E. Still angry after Alexander Rusev attacked his friend Kofi Kingston, Big E brought out a vicious side. He got past some of Miz’s offense and won with the Big Ending. Like Dolph Ziggler earlier, Big E’s celebration was cut short by the arrival of someone. The “Ravishing Russian” Lana walked out onto the stage with a microphone. She addressed Big E, saying that Rusev deemed him unworthy of his presence. “You do not deserve to even breathe the same air as the Super Athlete. However, Alexander Rusev is here to prove his dominance over the rest of the WWE. So he has challenged you to a match at TLC and he’ll even put the United States Title on the line.” The crowd cheered when Big E grabbed the microphone and accepted. “You need to go back and tell your ape something first though. I’m not just coming for the United States Title. What Rusev did to Kofi Kingston was uncalled for and you bet your sweet Russian ass that I’m gonna hurt your boy toy at TLC.” Big E dropped the microphone as Lana looked on, offended at his words. SETH ROLLINS DEF. CHRISTIAN IN 9:03; Christian showed that there is still some gas left in his tank. He took it right to Seth Rollins and picked up some flash pin near falls in the early goings. Seth seemed to be taking Christian lightly but quickly realized that this wasn’t going to be easy. “Captain Charisma” came close on a sunset flip and reverse DDT, with the crowd getting more and more behind him as time went on. He tried the Killswitch but Seth shoved him off and scored on a buckle bomb. The Curb Stomp followed, giving Seth the victory. He went right back to being the cocky Superstar that we’ve come to know over the past few weeks. Seth is looking to be in good form heading into one of, if not the biggest match of his career.
Backstage, AJ Lee was shown getting her makeup done. Tom Phillips noted that she is scheduled to face Eva Marie tonight. Suddenly, she is leveled from behind and it is revealed that Emma is the attacker. The WWE Women’s Champion picked AJ up and dragged her across all of the makeup. Emma opened a lipstick and drew all over Seth’s face, shouting “DO YOU WANNA LOOK PRETTY AJ? HUH?” Emma picked up AJ and held her in front of the mirror so she could see all of the lipstick painted on her face. “LOOK AT HOW PRETTY YOU ARE!” Officials ran over and pulled Emma away, preventing any further damage. They restrain her and drag her back, but Emma fights to free herself. She runs at AJ and brutally kicks her head into the mirror, shattering it into hundreds of pieces on the floor. AJ’s body went limp and she crumpled to the ground. Emma laughed as she calmly walked away on her own and the officials turned their attention to AJ’s health.
Returning, footage aired from the break, where medics came to check on AJ Lee. The camera avoided direct shots of AJ’s face, but she could heard saying that her neck also hurt. Back to a live feed and the EMTs were picking AJ up in a stretcher while a towel covered her face. DARREN YOUNG W/ TITUS O’NEIL DEF. TYSON KIDD W/ CESARO AND NATALYA IN 3:40; The very confident Tyson Kidd made similar mistakes as Seth Rolling earlier. Unfortunately for him, he couldn’t turn things around the way Seth did. Tyson took time to taunt Titus outside, opening the door for Darren Young to nail the Gut Check and pick up the win. Darren quickly exited the ring as Cesaro slid in. The bad week for Kidd and Cesaro continued here tonight. A pissed Cesaro watched the Prime Time Players do their “millions of dollars” dance up the ramp. CODY RHODES DEF. CURTIS AXEL IN 3:07; In a recurring theme this evening, Cody Rhodes showed up in a foul mood. We were shown a recap of this past Monday, where Chris Jericho tried to embarrass Cody on the Highlight Reel, only for Cody to show up and send him packing. Here, Curtis Axel got in a bit of offense, but Cody was on another level. He put him down for the count with the Cross Rhodes, showing that he meant business.
In the back, Hulk Hogan was shown in his office, getting ready to leave. Cody Rhodes burst in and demanded a one on one match with Chris Jericho right now. “Whoa, whoa Cody. Slow down. Chris Jericho isn’t here tonight dude. I’ll tell you what though. At TLC, you can have Jericho all to yourself. And, since I’m making you wait over a week, this Monday on Raw, you can have a tune up against that scumbag of a brother of yours, Goldust.” Cody seemed satisfied but before leaving, he made sure to note that if Jericho got involved on Monday, he was going to take him out.
A video package now aired, recapping all of the destruction caused by the Wyatt Family since they returned in October. They’ve decimated Vince McMahon and Triple H, while also now targeting the WWE Tag Team Champions, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk. The video ended with the graphic reminding everyone that Shane McMahon returned and challenged Bray Wyatt to a Chairs match, which will take place at TLC. CM PUNK DEF. LUKE HARPER W/ THE WYATT FAMILY VIA DISQUALIFICATION IN 8:19; CM Punk wasn’t anywhere near as apprehensive as you’d expect considering the rest of the Wyatt Family was at ringside. Daniel Bryan was home, nursing injuries from Monday and even Punk didn’t seem to be 100%. Punk found himself in trouble throughout, as this was mostly Harper in control. Punk started to rally and hit some of his signature offense. As he called for the Go to Sleep though, Erick Rowan slid into the ring and clocked him from the side, causing the official to ring the bell. Bray Wyatt didn’t get involved, staying seated in his rocking chair and letting his guys do their work. Erick Rowan continued to club CM Punk while Luke Harper got a table from under the ring. “Oh no, not again” said Tom Phillips. Harper set the table up in the corner by Punk. He and Rowan stepped back across the ring and Rowan told Harper to stay back. Punk stood up in front of the table and Rowan charged forward to shoulder block him through it. Punk quickly got out of dodge and Rowan crashed through the table by himself! The crowd roared and Harper went after Punk. Realizing he was outnumbered, Punk quickly grabbed a steel chair and backed towards the guardrail. Bray finally stood up and shouted for Harper not to go after Punk. Harper backed away and stood by Bray just as Erick Rowan began to stir. The camera caught a worried and confused Punk before the show came to a close.

Monday Night Raw: December 8th, 2014 – Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina
After the WWE signature intro, a recap aired of Hulk Hogan being named Co-General Manager last Monday night. This was followed by the opening pyro and Michael Cole, JBL and Jerry Lawler welcoming the viewers at home to a very special Monday Night Raw. “It’s that special time of the year folks! The 74th annual Slammy Awards! Or something like that” explained Michael Cole. “Awesome” was heard and The Miz made his way out to the stage in a tuxedo, with the lovely Summer Rae on his arm. Miz got to the podium and addressed the WWE Universe, first welcoming them and then going into a small rant about not being nominated for anything this year. “How the hell am I not up for Superstar of the Year? I am THE superstar of the WWE. None of the other guys or girls in the back starred in something as groundbreaking as the Marine 4!” Summer Rae eased him saying, “Babe, you have to remember one thing. This is the peak for everyone else. Not for you though. There’s an Academy Award in your future.” Miz mulled it over and seemed to agree. “Anyway, tonight I will be your host but, I will also be the presenter of the first award. I am here to honor the winner of the Most Despicable Act of the Year Award. Don’t know why they’re having me present this since despicable is the last word people use to describe but whatever.” Clips of the nominees appeared on the Titantron. Alberto Del Rio injuring Cesaro was shown first, followed by Sheamus’ heinous attack on Dolph Ziggler during their Ironman match. Sheamus was also shown carrying the bloody chair around for weeks afterward. The Wyatt Family’s uncalled for attack on Mr. McMahon and Seth Rollins turning his back on the Shield were shown next. Capping the nominees was the most recent clip, as Emma kicking AJ Lee into a mirror this past week on Smackdown aired. Miz announced that the fans still had time to vote because the winner wouldn’t be revealed until after the opening contest. SETH ROLLINS DEF. ALBERTO DEL RIO IN 7:25; Alberto Del Rio hasn’t done very much since defeating Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series. Seth Rollins, however, has been on a tear since Survivor Series and it continued here. Del Rio went after the arm and slapped on the Cross Armbreaker, but Seth made it to the ropes. From there, the new crown jewel of the Authority went into his offense and put down Del Rio with a Curb Stomp. Seth got to his feet with a grin, continuing his hot streak and gaining momentum before the big contract signing tonight.
Back to the stage, The Miz admitted that was an impressive performance by Seth, but it was time to announce our first Slammy winner. “The WWE Universe has decided and the winner of the Most Despicable Act of the Year Award is…Seth Rollins!” Seth actually celebrated the win, throwing his arms in the air and joining Miz at the podium. They shook hands and Seth spoke to the WWE Universe, thanking them for the honor. “Normally, someone would be upset to win an award that calls their acts despicable but I’m not a normal man. I am the future of this company. Actually, I am the present and I gave myself a present when I joined the Authority. Now, despite everything that Hulk Hogan tries to throw in front of me, I will be the next Mr. Money in the Bank and then I will be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Believe that…and believe in Seth Rollins!” The crowd booed as Seth picked up his Slammy and proudly walked to the back.
CESARO W/ TYSON KIDD AND NATALYA DEF. TITUS O’NEIL W/ DARREN YOUNG IN 3:29; On Smackdown last week, Darren Young bested Tyson Kidd in singles competition. Tonight, Cesaro managed to even the odds between the teams. While the match didn’t last too long, it was hard hitting and saw both guys just hammer on each other. Cesaro’s victory came after hitting the Neutralizer. Kidd slid in the ring and put the boots to Titus quickly before Young slid in and caused him to exit the ring. It was clear that the issue between these tandems was far from over.
Michael Cole informed the viewers of some of the Slammy Awards that were given out earlier today on WWE.com. The Rock won “Best Actor”, Dolph Ziggler won “Best Twitter”, Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella won “Best Couple”, Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania won “This is Awesome Moment of the Year” and Sami Zayn was voted “Best NXT Superstar.”
The Miz came back out to introduce a very special guest to introduce the Rivalry of the Year Award. “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you…Big Johnny himself…John Laurinaitis!” The crowd booed as former General Manager John Laurinaitis stepped through the curtain waving. He shook hands with the Miz before introducing himself as the “former General Manager of Monday night Raw and Friday night Smackdown and Executive Vice President of Talent Relations.” Laurinaitis talked about his “legendary” rivalries with CM Punk and John Cena, saying that is why they brought him out to present this award. The nominees appeared on screen starting with footage of Daniel Bryan going up against the Authority. The wars between the Shield and the Wyatt Family were highlighted as was Bray Wyatt’s four month battle with John Cena. AJ Lee and Paige’s division defining rivalry, Dolph Ziggler and Sheamus taking the Intercontinental Title to the next level and CM Punk’s very personal fight with Triple H rounded them out. Laurinaitis opened the envelope and revealed that, for the first time ever, women have won the award. “Congratulations Paige and AJ Lee!” The crowd cheered for this victory but those turned to boos when the music of the WWE Women’s Champion hit. Emma walked out, waving to the audience and mockingly crying when she got to Big Johnny. She snatched the award and shooed Johnny away. She spoke in a sarcastic tone, “Wow you guys. This is amazing. I cannot believe that AJ Lee and Paige won the Rivalry of the Year Award. It’s like a dream come true for the WWE Universe and the women’s division as a whole. Those two made history and went to war with each other for months. They really deserve this, especially after their historic Hell in a Cell match. I mean, I really wish they were here to accept it. I wonder why they aren’t…oh yeah, that’s right. I put them both on the shelf. For all that they did during their so called rivalry of the year, I did what neither was able to. I bested the other one. Paige went through that table down there and I took her title. As for AJ, let me just remind you.” A video recap aired of Emma kicking AJ’s head into a mirror this past Friday on Smackdown. “Look at that! The two women that you all gravitated towards and believed took women’s wrestling to the next level were taken out by me. That’s why I’m the WWE Women’s Champion, that’s why I’ll remain champion if AJ Lee is even able to show up at TLC and that’s why I’m accepting this award for them.”
Returning from break, Paul Heyman was shown arriving at the arena. Renee Young caught up with him and asked about his appearance tonight. Heyman responded, saying that it should be obvious. “The WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the Beast Incarnate himself, Brock Lesnar is not here tonight. Therefore, I am here to accept the Superstar of the Year Award on his behalf.”
Michael Cole took time to promote this Thursday’s WWE Network special, NXT TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way. “Ladies and gentlemen, one of the marquee matchups will see NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks defend her title against Bayley. Tonight, in a preview of TakeOver, here’s a special look at Sasha Banks.” A video package aired, showing highlights of Sasha Banks and her title win at Divas Smackdown back in October. We also hear from Sasha, who explains why she is “The Boss” and what makes her “the best female this company has ever seen”. SASHA BANKS DEF. LAYLA IN 2:07; The Greenville faithful cheered for the first ever Raw appearance of Sasha Banks. She ran into quick trouble from Layla but righted the ship soon. Sasha hit some signature spots, including double knees in the corner and a hurricanrana, before making Layla tap to the Bank Statement. Sasha got up and confidently posed with her title. “That’s a former Divas and Women’s Champion in there and Sasha Banks just beat her in short order. The woman is the real deal” said JBL.
The sound of a familiar car crash was heard and the WWE Universe erupted as the legendary WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley walked out to the podium. He had a big smile and was in his typical flannel and sweatpants. Foley said hello to the fans and announced that he would be presenting the next award. “Before I do though, I wanted to point out how great it is to be back, right here in Greenville, South Carolina!” Foley continued, saying that the next award is one he’s all too familiar with, the Extreme Moment of the Year! “Hopefully, these don’t bring back too many painful memories.” The nominees appeared, starting with John Cena taking it to the extreme to beat Bray Wyatt earlier this year by launching the steel steps outside of the ring at him. Bray takes more punishment in the next nominee as the Shield triple powerbombing him onto thumbtacks at SummerSlam was highlighted. Paige’s RamPaige on AJ Lee off the second rope through a table at Hell in a Cell was next, followed by the Wyatt Family chokeslamming Triple H off the stage. The final, and most recent, nominee was Seth Rollins Curb Stomping Roman Reigns onto a chair at Survivor Series. “Man, those were some hardcore moments for sure. I have no idea who is gonna win this. I’ll tell you what though. I’ve been to war with Triple H and whenever he’s able to return, the Wyatt Family are in for a rude awakening.” Foley announced the winner to a pop as the Shield powerbombing Bray Wyatt onto thumbtacks won. “Unfortunately, thanks to Seth Rollins, the Shield is no longer together so I guess I’ll accept the...” A slightly altered version of the Shield theme hit and the crowd came to their feet as Roman Reigns walked onto the stage in a suit! Foley shook hands with Roman and left him to the podium. Roman thanked the crowd for their support since his injury and said that, while he’s here to accept the award, it isn’t all he’s here for. “There are two things on my mind. Number one is you Seth Rollins. Don’t you dare think for a second that when I return, I’m not coming to kick your ass for what you did. The second thing I’m here to tell you is exactly that. When I’m returning. Seth, you better prepare yourself because if there’s anything left of you after Dean Ambrose beats the hell out of you at TLC…I’m gonna finish you at the Royal Rumble. That’s right, I spoke with Hulk Hogan earlier today and I am officially the first name to enter the Royal Rumble match!” Reigns walked off to cheers with the award following the major announcement.
Returning, Chris Jericho sat on a chair in the ring. He had a microphone in his hand and spoke slowly, telling the fans that he takes what he does for a living very seriously. “As a child, I knew that I would be either a pro wrestler or a rock star. Of course, I went on to do both and that’s the point. I had to work my ass off to accomplish the things I did in my life. I didn’t have a father in the wrestling business. I didn’t have anyone to open the door for me, I had to travel the world, hone my craft everywhere possible and kick those doors down. Then there’s guys like Cody Rhodes. Guys that were born with a silver spoon in their mouths and made it to the business because of who their family member is. Cody seems to believe that he is owed things because his last name is Rhodes. He feels like he should be gifted the World Heavyweight Championship because his daddy did it.” Before Chris could continue, the music of the “American Dream” hit and Dusty Rhodes walked down to the ring to a thunderous ovation. Jericho looked surprised at this and Dusty grabbed his own microphone. During Dusty’s entrance, Cody Rhodes sprinted down to the ring and stood in between Dusty and Jericho to prevent anything from happening. Dusty told Cody it was okay and began to speak to Jericho, telling him that he was all wrong. “Listen here daddy. Just because my son has my last name doesn’t mean he thinks he’s entitled to anything. My son has earned everything he’s ever had. The Tag Team Titles. The Intercontinental Title. Even that win over a certain somebody during the Survival Trials.” Dusty pointed at Jericho and gave a smile while Jericho’s face dropped. He stepped forward to take a swing at Dusty but Cody jumped in front and knocked him down with a right hand of his own. Dusty held his son back from further pouncing and Jericho rolled outside, holding his jaw. Cody took the microphone from his father and challenged Jericho to a match at TLC. Jericho continued to hold his jaw and looked around the arena before responding with a loud “no”! Jericho left up the ramp, leaving Cody frustrated.
The Miz came back out and introduced one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all-time, Booker T. The six time World Champion walked out to a nice ovation and spoke about his time with Harlem Heat. “I guarantee you that I wouldn’t be a multi-time World Champion if it wasn’t for my time with my brother as Harlem Heat. Tonight, I’m here to honor the best tag team in the WWE all year long, as voted by you. The nominees are…” A barrage of clips aired, featuring CM Punk and Daniel Bryan, the Usos, Batista and Randy Orton, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, and Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. Booker said the winner would be announced after the following match. RANDY ORTON DEF. R-TRUTH IN 2:34; On the road to a huge match at TLC, Randy Orton got a tuneup here and made good use of it. Truth didn’t get in much offense and was ended by a signature RKO. Orton, barely breaking a sweat, got to his feet and posed. Booker T took back over at the podium and revealed the winner. “The winner of WWE Tag Team of the Year is the former WWE Tag Team Champions, Batista and Randy Orton!” Orton walked up the ramp to collect the trophy until Batista’s music hit. He stopped in his tracks because he hasn’t seen Batista since hitting him with the RKO last week. Batista walked to the podium and called Randy over. “No hard feelings right now man. Don’t get me wrong…I’m not looking past what you did last Monday, but this is about us. Whatever happens to our team between last week and TLC doesn’t take away from this trophy.” Orton gingerly walked over and accepted a handshake from his tag team partner and picked up his trophy. They raised them high in the air and posed for some photos, but Orton was clearly still not sure what to think. As he went to walk away, Batista raised his Slammy to hit him but shrugged it off and decided not to, instead leaving with an uncomfortable Orton, choosing the psychological route.
Renee Young was shown standing by with one of the teams in tonight’s main event, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon. She asked them for their thoughts heading into battle with the Wyatt Family. Punk spoke, saying that none of them were worried about it. “Not that the Wyatts aren’t a group that we are taking lightly but all three of us are heading into TLC to go to war with them, so getting the opportunity to do it tonight is just an added bonus.” Renee looked confused so Bryan clarified. “We are done being put through tables by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, so earlier today, we spoke with Hulk Hogan and at TLC, we’re going to defend these titles against them in a Tables match. It’s time we put the Wyatt Family through them.” Shane added that Bray is lucky the match isn’t no disqualification tonight because he’d get an early dose of what the Chairs match will be like this Sunday.
The ring was set up for a contract signing, with Hulk Hogan and Stephanie McMahon standing in the middle of the ring. Hogan introduced the two participants in this Sunday’s historic meeting, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. You could clearly see the difference in the two men as Seth changed after his earlier match into a suit, while Ambrose walked to the ring in a tank top, vest and jeans. Once in the ring, they sat across from one another. Stephanie began to go over the rules of a TLC match and discuss the briefcase being at stake when Ambrose cut her off. “Yea, yea, yea, we know the deal Mrs. McMahon. I get to beat this scumbag from pillar to post with tables, ladders and chairs before I climb up and take the briefcase. Then, I get to beat him up with said briefcase and then, when I feel like it, I get to cash it in and become WWE World Heavyweight Champion.” The WWE Universe popped hard for this statement while Dean took the pen and immediately signed his name on the dotted line. A calm and collected Seth Rollins responded by saying that Dean needs to read before he signs. “What our fearless leader Stephanie McMahon was going to say before you rudely interrupted her, was that this contract has a provision in it. A provision that states that you and I cannot lay a hand on each other until the bell rings this Sunday or the other one automatically gets the Money in the Bank briefcase. That’s right. This contract signing isn’t going to go down the way other ones do and you aren’t going to get in a cheap sneak attack on Smackdown this week. You keep your filthy hands to yourself until TLC.” Dean looked disappointed but Rollins continued, saying that none of what Dean said is going to happen. “You do realize why the Shield was so successful right? It wasn’t because Roman has muscles and it definitely wasn’t because you act like a crazy person. It was because you had the very best on this planet leading the way. I was the architect of the Shield and it was because of my brilliant mind that we dominated the WWE for two years. I ended it on my terms because I was sick and tired of carrying your dead weight around. This Sunday, I officially put an end to all of this. I retrieve that briefcase, be done with all of this Shield nonsense and become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. I’ll prove to the world exactly why breaking up the Shield was the best move for my career. I’m going to be the biggest star this business has ever seen, even if Hulk Hogan doesn’t want to admit it.” Seth stared a hole through Hulk, who said nothing while looking back. Dean got annoyed and told Seth to just sign the damn contract. Seth picked up the pen and mulled over the contract before suddenly flipping the table over onto Dean and stomping away at him. Hogan called for officials to break things up, but Stephanie just sat back and watched with a slight smirk. Dean began to get up only to be sent back into the mat by a vicious Curb Stomp from Rollins. Seth picked the contract back up and signed on the dotted line, cementing that he’ll get the last physical blows before TLC.
The crowd came unglued for the arrival of John Cena, who wasn’t scheduled to compete. He walked to the podium and announced that he was here to present an award. “Believe me guys, watching the awkwardness between Randy Orton and Batista earlier was enough enjoyment for me tonight. Anyway, I’m here to present an award that I had the honor and privilege of winning last year, the Match of the Year.” Cena discussed what that award means before bringing up the nominees. Daniel Bryan vs. Triple H from WrestleMania, Bryan teaming with the Shield against the Authority in War Games at Extreme Rules, the Shield’s war with the Wyatt Family at SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar’s battle with CM Punk at Night of Champions, Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena at Hell in a Cell and lastly, Paige and AJ Lee in the first ever female Hell in a Cell match are all highlighted. Cena continued by saying that he’s never seen a list so good and guaranteed that he wouldn’t be able to pick one the way the WWE Universe has. “The votes are in though and you all have chosen…” Cena got quiet and seemed very uncomfortable before saying that the winner is the Shield vs. The Wyatt Family. Cena walked off to the back before the Wyatt signature hit. When the lights came back on, the Slammy Award was gone and things went to commercial. ADRIAN NEVILLE AND DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. 3MB W/ DREW MCINTYRE IN 2:56; No Intercontinental Championship Showoff Invitational this week to protect this Sunday’s ladder match between Dolph Ziggler and Adrian Neville. They teamed up here, showing that there are no hard feelings heading into their upcoming match. However, after Ziggler hit the Zig Zag, Neville tagged himself in and won with the Red Arrow. Ziggler looked slightly bothered by this but Neville just shrugged at him. He then actually got the Intercontinental Title from the ring announcer and held it for a few seconds of tension before ultimately handing it over to Ziggler.
Returning, video from the inaugural Slammys aired as we saw Vince McMahon famously perform “Stand Back”. BIG E DEF. SHEAMUS IN 5:46; These two feuded heavily over the Intercontinental Championship earlier this year. Sheamus clobbered away at Big E with some of his signature high impact offense. He went for the Brogue Kick but Big E ducked and came off the ropes with a body block. The straps came down and Big E gained more steam with his United States Title shot coming up after winning with the Big Ending. He wasn’t able to really celebrate due to the Slammy Awards being back on. The host of the Slammy Awards, T he Miz, was standing at the podium. “What a night this has been but again, I have to say that it is ridiculous that I wasn’t nominated for anything. I better win Best Slammy Host next year and Best Actor.” Miz the introduced the next presenter as WWE Hall of Famer, Sgt. Slaughter. Slaughter came out to a nice hand and said that he was here to introduce the winner of the “Breakout Star of the Year Award”. The nominees were shown standing near each other in the back. Adrian Neville, Emma and Alexander Rusev were shown, but the final nominee, Paige, was still on the shelf. “And the winner of the 2014 Breakout Star of the Year is… Alexander Rusev!” Rusev and Lana walked out onto the stage and there was clearly some tension between the very patriotic Slaughter and the Bulgarian Brute, but Lana told Rusev to keep moving. They got to the podium, with Big E still in the ring. Lana said that do not thank the WWE Universe for this win. “Rusev wins at everything. He is still undefeated, he won this award and with me by his side, he even wins at life.” Lana claimed that Big E has no chance of winning the United States Championship this Sunday before leaving with the Slammy in her hand.
The commentary team led the viewers at home through a rundown of this Sunday’s TLC Pay-Per-View. As announced earlier tonight, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will defend the Tag Team Titles against Erick Rowan and Luke Harper in a Tables match. If she can make it to the show, AJ Lee will get a shot at Emma and the WWE Women’s Championship, while Big E tries to end the undefeated streak of Alexander Rusev. Adrian Neville gets the biggest chance of his career when he takes on Dolph Ziggler in a ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. Also added today, Cody Rhodes will go one on one with Chris Jericho. Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt will clash in a Chairs match, while three future Hall of Famers, Batista, John Cena and Randy Orton, compete for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Then, in the main event, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins collide in a TLC match with the Money in the Bank briefcase on the line. The Miz returned to introduce the final presenter of the evening. “Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman!” Heyman walked out to a pop but seemed irritated that Miz stole his opening line. Heyman spoke with his usual passion, saying that he’s here to present the Superstar of the Year Award. “This is all just a formality though. Sure there are several nominees but there’s really only one man, no, one beast deserving of the award. The beast who destroyed the World’s Largest Athletes at the Royal Rumble, the conqueror who is the 1 in 21-1, the animal that ended Daniel Bryan’s reign as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and the current, reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion, BROCK LESNAR!” Heyman went on to direct the fans to the Titantron for the video clips of the nominees. For the first time ever, female superstars are included in the field. AJ Lee got shown first, reigning as Divas Champion for the first quarter of the year before returning and having historic matches with Paige. Batista’s return, Royal Rumble victory and Tag Team Title run are shown next, followed by Bray Wyatt’s wins over Daniel Bryan, John Cena and Roman Reigns. Brock Lesnar’s dominant run that Paul Heyman just went over was highlighted, with Cody Rhode’s fantastic run through the Survival Trials shown next. CM Punk’s return at Payback, win over Triple H and Tag Team Title win were the next focus. Daniel Bryan winning the WWE World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania, run with the title and Tag Team Title win with CM Punk was next. Dolph Ziggler winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, United States Title win and two Intercontinental Title victories were the next highlight. John Cena’s rivalry with Brock Lesnar and Survival Trials victory was shown shortly after. The next clips showed Paige debut, win the Divas Title in her home country, change it to the Women’s Title, team up with Trish Stratus and win the first ever female Hell in a Cell, before ending with footage of Randy Orton as WWE Champion and his Tag Team Title run with Batista. When the video package ended, Heyman spoke “Wow. There are certainly some worthy contenders in there…if this were any other year. Let’s get this over with. Your winner of the 2014 Superstar of the Year IS THE BEAST INCARNATE DANIEL BRYAN! Wait, what?” The crowd roared as Daniel Bryan’s music hit and Heyman stared at the envelope in utter shock. Bryan stepped out onto the stage, with CM Punk behind him clapping, and took the award. Heyman looked at him, still flabbergasted, before seeing Punk and changing his expression to one of more fear. He walked away, leaving Bryan to give his speech. Bryan thanked the WWE Universe for voting him as the Superstar of the Year for the second straight year. “Without all of you, none of this would be possible. I would have never won the WWE Championship, CM Punk wouldn’t have come back and we wouldn’t be Tag Team Champions right now. This year, you all showed that you have a voice and it’s a voice that matters! Will 2015 be even better than 2014? Yes! Will I win this award again for a third straight year? YES” The crowd did yes with him, though Punk seemed a little put off by Bryan suggesting he’d win again. CM PUNK, DANIEL BRYAN AND SHANE MCMAHON DEF. THE WYATT FAMILY IN 10:06; Despite not having any major stipulation, this was quite the war. All six men just went after each other and if TLC is anything like this, that night is going to be one hell of a war. The Wyatt Family spent some time picking Shane McMahon apart until he got free and laid in some shots on Erick Rowan. He made the hot tag to the Superstar of the Year and Bryan cleaned house. Near the end, Bray got thrown into steel steps while Harper was knocked down with a Busaiku Knee. Punk nailed Rowan with the GTS and tagged in Shane, who flew off the top with a massive elbow drop to get the 1-2-3. Shane and the Tag Team Champions celebrated their win, while Harper pulled a fallen Rowan out of the ring. For the first time in a long time, Bray Wyatt didn’t have his confident smile. “Could Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk have finally rattled Bray Wyatt’s cage?” asked Michael Cole as the winners continued to celebrate with the WWE Universe.

NXT TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way: December 11th, 2014 - Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida
The WWE Network stream began with the Pre-Show panel welcoming the viewers. Renee Young, the host, introduced the rest of the panel, which included Jason Albert, Alex Riley and special guest, former NXT Champion, Adrian Neville! The first thing they discussed was the Tag Team Title tournament in recent weeks since Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn broke up as a team. Neville pointed out how hard it is to win a tournament like this, since he won one a few years ago. He predicted a win by the Vaudevillains. “Look, I love Enzo and Cass. They’re friends of mine and they are really great, but I just feel like the Vaudevillains have too much momentum on their side right now.” Alex Riley spoke about Hideo Itami and Finn Balor, saying that he still doesn’t believe in. “I give them credit for beating Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd, but tonight they face their toughest challenges. Tyler Breeze has beaten Kalisto and Tyson Kidd on our last two TakeOver specials, while Solomon Crowe has already shown he’s too much for Finn Balor to handle.” Renee made sure to allude to the flickering lights and heartbeat that we heard last week, suggesting Finn could have something up his sleeve. They moved on to discuss the NXT Women’s Championship match. Renee stated that Sasha has performed like one of the MVPs of NXT lately, but it feels like it is Bayley’s night to realize her dream. Jason Albert chimed in to talk about the upcoming battle of the brutes between the undefeated phenoms, Baron Corbin and Mason Ryan. Lastly, they all went over the history between the four participants in our main event. In the end, Riley picked Graves to get the title back, Albert and Renee both picked Kevin Owens but Neville went with his buddy Sami Zayn. “My last few months in NXT, I saw something in Sami’s eyes that just screamed NXT Champion. He made it to that level and I can’t see him losing the title anytime soon, even if Kevin Owens is in his head.”
NXT once again took over the WWE opening signature, cutting in and going right into a video package for tonight’s major event. “Tonight, all of 2014 comes to a head in one epic night” said a voiceover as “Forever Stuck in Our Youth” by Set It Off began to play. Rapid fire clips of the Superstars involved in tonight’s matches, with the final shots showcasing the four men in our main event tonight. Cutting to the jam packed Full Sail Arena, Rich Brennan, Byron Saxton and Renee Young welcomed the viewers to tonight’s historic event and quickly sent it to the ring for the opening contest. HIDEO ITAMI VS. TYLER BREEZE; Several ladies, who seemed to be models, strutted their stuff down the aisle as if it was a runway. After four women finish, Tyler Breeze’s theme hit and NXT’s resident male model made his way to the ring with a selfie stick and entered the ring. “Tyler Breeze is really trying to get in Hideo Itami’s head with this glamorous entrance” said Renee Young. Hideo Itami didn’t get a fancy entrance, but the fans erupted for his arrival anyway. The match began with Itami going right after Breeze and lighting him up with a flurry of huge kicks and strikes. Breeze scurried outside after a dropkick to regroup. Itami tried for a baseball slide but Breeze dodged it, causing Itami to slide all the way outside. Once there, Tyler nailed him with a loud supermodel kick to take control. Breeze started to target the legs of Itami. “This is such a wise strategy by Breeze. He’s going to take away Itami’s kicks, which are his biggest weapon” explained Rich Brennan. Breeze beat on the leg, applied a leg lock and then went old school with the ring post figure four, earning himself a pop from the NXT Universe. Back inside, Breeze worked a single leg crab but Itami reached the ropes to break it. Tyler grew frustrated and argued with the official. That opened a door for Itami to rally with slaps and strikes, but his attempted kicks didn’t hit as hard as they could have, freeing up Breeze to nail a DDT for two. Breeze attempted the Beauty Shot, but Itami ducked. He ran off the ropes for the shotgun dropkick but the connection was weak due to the strength of his leg. Breeze slightly bounced off the ropes and saw Itami holdings his leg on the mat. “Tyler is like a shark smelling blood right now” said Byron Saxton. Breeze smiled while watching Itami struggle to his feet, where he was met with a Beauty Shot for the 1-2-3. Tyler Breeze defeated Hideo Itami in 10:39! “I know he’s been one of the hottest NXT Superstars in recent months, but some may consider this an upset” said Renee Young. The NXT Universe certainly didn’t like the outcome, booing Tyler Breeze’s celebration. Breeze picked up his cellphone and knelt down next to Hideo Itami, taking a selfie with his injured opponent. As he left, he motioned around his waist that he’s coming for gold. Two officials checked on Hideo Itami to end the segment. Evan Bourne was shown stretching in the back, while commentary hyped the importance of tonight’s main event. The camera cut to see Corey Graves sitting in the locker room in deep throught. A shorty video package aired, recapping the undefeated runs of both the “Lone Wolf” Baron Corbin and the “Welsh Warrior” Mason Ryan. BARON CORBIN VS. MASON RYAN; The two brutes stood across the ring from one another as the tension built. They both charged forward and just clobbered each other with big blows. “To paraphrase the legendary Jim Ross, this is going to be bowling shoe ugly” said Byron Saxton. Mason Ryan got in the first big move, hitting Baron Corbin with some clotheslines in the corner and a big boot. He applied a full nelson, but Corbin backed him to the ropes to break it. Ryan then picked up Corbin and impressed with a gorilla press slam. He made a mistake by charging at Corbin though, because the “Lone Wolf” caught him with a spinning side slam that he calls Deep Six. Corbin looked for the End of Days but Ryan elbowed out of it. “I highly doubt he’s gonna be able to get Ryan up for the End of Days” said Rich Brennan. Rich would have to eat his words because Corbin fought off a backbreaker rack and nailed the biggest End of Days of his career. Baron Corbin defeated Mason Ryan in 3:23!
Baron Corbin avoided the referee raising his hand and the crowd booed, though there were some impressed cheers in there. “Two undefeated, seemingly unstoppable monsters went at it and Baron Corbin bested Mason Ryan in under five minutes. Who the hell is going to stop this man?” asked Byron Saxton. Corbin left the ring and exited to the side of the stage, keeping to himself.
In the back, Sasha Banks was shown looking in a mirror and putting her shades on. She picked up her NXT Women’s Title and began to strap it around her waist. The camera then cut to show Bayley elsewhere, preparing for the biggest match of her career. She smiled as her mom, who is in attendance for the big night, came into the picture and hugged her. A promo aired to hype major news. “NXT is the hottest thing in the world of sports entertainment. They’ve lit up the entire state of Florida for the past few years. Now, it’s time to take things on the road. For the first time ever, NXT goes on tour! This March, NXT takes over the Arnold Classic Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio! See all of your favorite NXT Superstars including Sami Zayn, Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens, Corey Graves, Bayley and many more!”
Cutting to the ring, Solomon Crowe made his entrance to a mixed reaction, but mostly boos. Once in the ring, the lights went out and a red light began to flicker as a heartbeat sounded. Smoke began to emerge from the entrance and a figure could slightly be seen through the fog. The crowd was confused until the heartbeat stopped and Finn Balor’s music played. Balor stood behind the smoke but this wasn’t the Balor we were used to. He was covered in red and black paint, looking like a demon. Finn slowly made his way to the ring as the crowd went wild. He entered and removed his headdress while the fans chanted “holy sh*t”. Crowe had a mixture of confusion and concern on his face while staring at Finn. FINN BALOR VS. SOLOMON CROWE; For weeks, Solomon Crowe has gotten the better of Finn Balor thanks to his aggressiveness. Tonight, he looked very apprehensive. He was tentative to lock up with Balor, so Finn ran forward and dropkicked him back into the corner. Finn went up and looked for the Coup de Grace, but Crowe rolled outside to regroup. “Solomon Crowe was not ready for this at all” said Rich Brennan. Finn didn’t waste any time and launched himself over the top onto Crowe with a tope con hilo. Once back inside the ring, Crowe pulled Finn into the turnbuckle, desperately creating an opening for himself. Crowe knew he had to bring out the big guns and hit some of his biggest moves, including a sitout powerbomb and exploder, but Balor wouldn’t stay down. “There’s just something different about Finn Balor in that paint” said Renee Young. Crowe grabbed the leg for the Stretch Muffler, but Balor kicked him away and got to his feet, running forward and hitting slingblade. Balor looked out at the raucous crowd and pointed to the corner, looking for the finish again. Crowe was back up quickly enough to cut him off and attack him. He took a swing but Finn ducked and nailed a Pele. He lifted Crowe with Bloody Sunday and climbed to the top. Finn missed the Coup de Grace and Crowe quickly tripped him up before applying the Stretch Muffler. Finn fought to reach the ropes, nearly grasping it before Crowe pulled him back. As if something clicked within Finn, he looked at Crowe and let out a roar in his face. Crowe’s face fell and Finn managed to flip out of the hold. “Finn Balor is a completely different animal tonight” said Byron Saxton. Finn ducked a clothesline, hit a big dropkick and connected on the Coup de Grace. He covered and got the 1-2-3. Finn Balor defeated Solomon Crowe in 6:40!
The crowd leapt to their feet as Finn Balor stood up and had his hand raised. “Finn Balor reached deep down and found something sinister to finally get past Solomon Crowe” explained Rich Brennan. Balor crept out of the ring, not really celebrating or embracing the audience as he exited up the ramp.
Renee Young was shown in the back and she brought breaking news to the viewers. "I have just been informed that sometime next year, a massive 32 man cruiserweight tournament will take place on the WWE Network. Right now, WWE and NXT scouts are scouring the globe for the best competitors under 205 pounds!" An ad aired for this historic event. "Whoa! What an announcement! And would you look at this" said Rich Brennan. A shot of the crowd showed Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly, who are known as one of the best tag teams on the planet. "Could this be a sign of things to come?" asked Rich.
Rich Brennan now led the viewers through a recap of the NXT Tag Team Title Tournament. After the split of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, the Number One Contender’s Tournament was changed into one to determine new champions for the vacated titles. To get to this point, the Vaudevillains had to go through Blake and Murphy and the Lucha Dragons. Meanwhile, Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated the All-American Real Americans and former NXT Tag Team Champions, the Ascension. NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP – ENZO AMORE AND COLIN CASSADY W/ CARMELLA VS. THE VAUDEVILLAINS; Just like they did for Finn Balor in the last match, the NXT fans were red hot for Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, saying Enzo’s entire entrance shtick along with him. Once the match began, the game plan of the Vaudevillains became clear. Big Cass overwhelmed them with his power in the first few minutes, so once Enzo got the tag, they kept him in their corner. “Brilliant tag team strategy by the Vaudevillains here” said Byron Saxton. The Vaudevillains cut the ring in half and used frequent tags in and out to wear down Enzo. “DUKES UP” was heard as Simon Gotch and Aiden English struck with stereo punches but could only get a near fall. Carmella started to pound the mat at ringside, hyping the crowd up. Enzo was in clear danger but managed to roll out of the way of Aiden’s swanton bomb. “This is the opening that Enzo needed” exclaimed Renee Young. Enzo crawled over to Cass only to get stopped by Gotch, who was just tagged in. Gotch grabbed his leg but Enzo scored on an enziguri and dove to make the tag. Like deer in headlights, the Vaudevillains were stuck. Cass came in and cleaned house, hitting both opponents with big boots and a sidewalk slam on English. Gotch got nailed with the empire elbow as Cass got his feet and shouted “HOW YOU DOING”. Cass tagged in Enzo and launched him into a big splash onto English, earning them the win and the titles. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady defeated the Vaudevillains to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions in 5:19!
Carmella jumped for joy and retrieved the NXT Tag Team Titles from ringside while the crowd lost their collective minds. She handed them to Enzo and Cass, who both kind of stared at them in shock. They snapped out of it and began to celebrate. Enzo jumped the guardrail and joined the fans in going nuts, with the NXT Universe hugging and celebrating with him. Cass hopped over as well, while Carmella clapped for them in the ring. The joyous moment overcame all of the NXT Universe.
A vignette aired showing a bald man walking into the Performance Center from behind. He spoke over the video as footage aired of him working out. He said that he’s been all around the world making a name for himself but now it was time to take the next big step in his career. “My name is Apollo Crews…and I’m coming to takeover NXT.”
A video package played, to the tune of “Never Lose Your Flames” by Issues. Bayley was shown sitting down for an interview and talking about what it was like to grow up as a massive wrestling fan. “I never really fit in with a lot of the girls in my schools because I just cared about wrestling. I knew, from the moment I first saw wrestling on my TV that this was what I wanted to do. And I’ve finally made it.” The music cut off as Sasha Banks was shown. “Boo freaking who. You think Bayley is special because she’s wanted this for a long time? I’ve dreamt about being Women’s Champion since I was ten years old but you don’t hear these sob stories being made about me. Because I don’t just hopelessly dream; I make things a reality.” Sasha looked at her title as she said this and the music came back to show various highlights of both women. Bayley spoke again, saying that she’s been the underdog throughout everything in her life and tonight, she’s done standing idly by. “Tonight, I don’t just do this for my mom, for the fans or even those little girls in the front row wearing my shirt and headband. I do it for me, for the little girl inside that desperately wanted this.” Sasha got in the last word saying, “I’ve beaten Bayley before. This will be a cakewalk because Bayley’s a loser and she always will be.” NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – SASHA BANKS (C) VS. BAYLEY; The second the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men shot up, the building erupted for the challenger. Bayley looked nervous and a bit taken aback by the overwhelming reaction. Sasha Banks followed to a mixed response that turned to boos when she ripped a Bayley headband off of a little girl in the crowd. “Come on, that’s uncalled for” shouted Renee Young. Bayley wanted to get her hands on Sasha, but was held off for the introductions. Once that was over, Bayley fired away at Sasha with rights and lefts in the corner. She tossed Sasha into the opposite one and leveled her with a big running back elbow. Bayley took the headband from Sasha and stopped to hand it back to her fan at ringside. Once back in, Sasha was ready and kicked Bayley in the knee, causing her to fall. “Sasha waited for that one opening. She really got Bayley off of her game” said Byron Saxton. Sasha went to work now, focusing her offense on the arm of Bayley with a single arm DDT and wrenching away at it. She worked a straightjacket submission until Bayley slipped free and turned it into a pinning combination for two. Sasha nearly walked into the Bayley to Belly but elbowed free and suplexed Bayley, who rolled outside. Sensing an opening, Sasha followed out with a massive somersault dive. “Oh my god” exclaimed Rich Brennan. She slid Bayley back in and covered for two. Sasha grabbed her arm after the kick out and applied the Bank Statement! Bayley looked defeated but started to rally and pulled herself closer to the ropes. Sasha stopped her by viciously stomping on her hand. When all looked lost for Bayley, she managed to roll back and pick Sasha up, turning her around into a Bayley to Belly! The crowd jumped to their feet, but Sasha wisely rolled herself outside as Bayley desperately reached for her. Bayley followed suit and sent Sasha back inside, covering but only getting two. Bayley sent her into the corner and fired off more shots, tightened the ponytail and hit a big back elbow. She sat Sasha on the top rope as the crowd felt the tide turning. “What does Bayley have planned here?” asked Renee Young. Bayley climbed up and seemed to attempt a super Frankensteiner but Sasha held onto the top rope, causing Bayley to violently crash to the mat below. Sasha dropped down from the top, rolled Bayley over and slapped the Bank Statement back on. Bayley fought as Sasha shouted “I TOLD YOU! YOU’RE A LOSER” A tear fell down Bayley’s cheek as she had no choice but to tap out. Sasha Banks defeated Bayley to retain the NXT Women’s Championship in 12:12!
A disappointed silence fell over Full Sail University as Sasha Banks got to her feet and snatched the NXT Women’s Championship from the referee. Sasha gloated towards the sad fans, even stopping on her way up the ramp to hold the title in the face of the fan she stole the headband from. Once she left, Bayley was alone in the ring, holding her arm and in tears. The fans got to their feet to give her a standing ovation and chanted “Bayley” as she stood up. Bayley stopped outside to hug her mother but as she raised her arm for the crowd, you could tell she was heartbroken. “Where does Bayley go from here?” asked Rich Brennan.
Before the main event, viewers were taken to a video package for the main event. It started by showing Sami Zayn bringing in his best friend, Kevin Owens, to topple the Ascension and finally capture championship gold in NXT. Zayn was chosen to represent NXT in the historic Survival Trials, winning a vote over Owens and then NXT Champion, Corey Graves. A frustrated Graves let this eat away at him, causing him to lose a one on one match for the first time in months to Evan Bourne. Shortly after, Graves lost the NXT Championship to Zayn at the Survival Trials Finals, making Zayn a double champion. During Sami’s championship celebration, Owens turned on his friend saying, “I hate your guts” and attacked him. They vacated the titles and now three men had claims to title shots. Zayn accepted whatever conditions got his hands on Kevin Owens.
NXT CHAMPIONSHIP – SAMI ZAYN (C) VS. COREY GRAVES VS. EVAN BOURNE VS. KEVIN OWENS; Sami Zayn wasted no time during his entrance, running to the ring and going after Kevin Owens. Owens calmly stepped outside and allowed Corey Graves to cut off Zayn and attack him. Evan Bourne looked around and decided not to let Owens rest, leaping over the top with an awe-inspiring springboard shooting star press! “Look at that! That’s what this match means to these four men” said Rich Brennan. Bourne battled Owens outside, while Graves viciously went after Sami’s leg inside. Sami got free and nailed a corner exploder on Corey. He set his sights on Owens outside, who had just aggressively tossed Bourne into the guardrail. Sami exited the ring, ran to Owens and dove through the middle and bottom ropes into a huge tornado DDT. The NXT Universe rose to their feet as Sami finally got his hands on Owens. He sent Owens back in but couldn’t capitalize as Graves chop blocked him on the way in. Owens got up and chose to work with Graves to pick apart Sami. That didn’t last too long though because the second he saw an opening, Owens shoved Graves to the ropes and hit the Popup Powerbomb. “You can never trust Kevin Owens” exclaimed Byron Saxton. He covered but the count was broken up by Bourne. He kicked away at Owens and backed him into the corner. Bourne placed him up top and connected on the big Frankensteiner that Bayley couldn’t. Bourne got two on a cover, but transitioned into a Muta lock. Graves broke that up but pulling his leg and applying Lucky 13. “That’s the move that won him the NXT Championship” said Renee Young. Graves wrenched on it until Sami Zayn got back up and put Graves in the Koji Clutch! The crowd roared, hoping for the tap out. Owens grabbed Sami and went for a Package Piledriver but Sami hopped over him on the popup and nailed the Blue Thunder Bomb for a very close near fall. Owens crawled to the corner and got to his feet. Sami charged forward for the Helluva Kick but again Graves intervened by tripping him up. He wanted Lucky 13 again but Sami slipped free and kicked him back into the corner. Owens ran in and nailed Graves with the cannonball. Bourne came off the top with a double knee drop onto Owens. Bourne climbed up for AirBourne but Owens got up and crotched him. From out of nowhere, Zayn ran in and hit him with a sick Helluva Kick to the back of the head! “Oh my god” exclaimed Saxton. Owens crumpled to the floor and out of the ring. Sami looked around, all alone with Bourne. He pulled him down send sent him into the opposite corner, following in with another Helluva Kick to retain his championship. Sami Zayn defeated Corey Graves, Evan Bourne and Kevin Owens to retain the NXT Championship in 19:18!A big celebration broke out in Full Sail University as Sami Zayn was declared the winner and given his NXT Title. Corey Graves, who had fallen outside after the match, backed up the ramp with a frustrated look on his face. Sami Zayn dropped the title to the mat when he saw Kevin Owens get to his feet outside. “Uh-oh, this isn’t gonna end well” said Rich Brennan. Owens held the back of his head, heard the music playing and turned to his former best friend. They locked eyes and Owens slid into the ring, immediately getting into a hockey style fight with Zayn. They hammered away on one another until William Regal appeared on the stage and signaled for a ton of security to run down. They separated the Superstars, but it was clear that this war is far from over.

Friday Night Smackdown: December 12th, 2014 – Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Georgia
Tonight’s Smackdown opened with a recap of this past Monday’s Slammy Award special. Then the cameras cut to the arena, where Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and Booker T welcomed the viewers to tonight’s show, which is the final stop before TLC this Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio. “Tonight, we will witness the return of AJ Lee after being brutally attacked by Emma last week, John Cena goes one on one with Sheamus and so much more!” exclaimed Phillips. The music of Seth Rollins played and the WWE Universe rose to their feet to boo him. The Director of Operations, Kane, flanked him and they entered the ring together. “Seth is gearing up for the most important match of his career this Sunday” said Booker T. Seth waited for the jeers to die down and let out a menacing cackle. “You all bought it. You sat there, just like Dean Ambrose, and watched as he signed his name on the contract and gave away his rights to put his filthy hands on me before our match this Sunday. Each and every one of you actually believed that I was just going to quietly do the same. Have you not met me? They called me the architect of the Shield for a reason. I made sure to kick Dean Ambrose’s ass one more time before TLC. By the time this Sunday arrives, Dean will have had waited six days. I can only imagine what these days are like for him. He’s probably at home, sweating, fidgeting and just aching to do something about it, but he can’t. If he does, the match is off and I automatically become the new and, honestly always the rightful, Mr. Money in the Bank.” With that, Seth gave a wink to Kane, who let out a small laugh. Just then, Dean Ambrose’s theme hit the speakers and the crowd erupted. The “Lunatic Fringe” made a beeline for the ring, while Seth stepped behind Kane and looked like he had just seen a ghost. Seemingly just remembering the stipulation in the contract, Seth regained confidence and stepped to Dean. Dean looked ready to explode before snatching the microphone from Seth. “You think you’re so smart don’t you? You think you’ve got it all figured out don’t you? You were right about a few things. I have sat at home for the past few days, just itching to get a piece of you. I need it, beating you senseless is like an addiction. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep…well I could still eat and sleep but it was still driving me crazy. And then, I realized something while you were out here talking. You said that I would be aching to get my hands on you. And you’re right. But that’s just it. I am dying to hurt you, so I’m not going to ruin that opportunity by clocking you right now. I’m waiting until Sunday and brother, you better believe that when that bell rings, you are in for a world of trouble.” Seth’s face began to fall as Dean continued, saying that he wants to do things to Seth that would probably be illegal in most states. Before Dean could finish, Kane stepped forward and grabbed Dean by the throat. He went to pick him up but Dean kicked him low. Dean hooked Kane for Dirty Deeds and stared a hole through Seth before planting Kane. Dean then swiftly exited the ring, leaving Seth to check on Kane. CHRIS JERICHO DEF. CHRISTIAN IN 10:53; This past Monday night, Chris Jericho got in the face of Dusty Rhodes and was challenged by Cody Rhodes for TLC, only to decline. Here, the former Tag Team Champions did battle in a very solid back and forth match. Christian came close a few times but Jericho got his knees up on a frog splash that changed everything. He applied the Walls of Jericho and Christian had to tap out. Jericho’s celebration was short lived because Cody Rhodes ran out to the ring and tackled him to the mat. Cody fired away with right hands until Jericho managed to shove him off and scurry out of the ring. He backed up the ramp while Cody demanded he return to the ring.
Backstage, Renee Young was standing by with the WWE Women’s Champion, Emma. Following a replay of Emma’s attack on AJ Lee, Renee asked for Emma’s thoughts on AJ Lee returning tonight, just a week after Emma assaulted her. Emma gave a chuckle, saying it didn’t matter. “Hooray for her. All she did was prove that it takes her about a week to get over what I can do to her. All I need is three seconds to keep this title on Sunday. I’m not worried at all. I may even take a closer look at MizTV tonight.”
A video package now aired. It showed Bray Wyatt attacking Vince McMahon the night after Hell in a Cell. Shane McMahon then made his return to WWE television for the first time in nearly five years to confront Bray for his actions. They met at Survivor Series, but Shane got himself disqualified quickly for attacking Bray with a steel chair. Shane then challenged Bray Wyatt to a Chairs match at TLC and this Sunday, their rivalry reaches its boiling point. CESARO, NATALYA AND TYSON KIDD DEF. ALICIA FOX AND THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS IN 4:19; During this match, Tom Phillips informed viewers that a new match has been added to TLC. On the Kickoff show, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro will meet the Prime Time Players in tag team action for the first time ever. This served as a preview of that, but the finishing sequence saw the women get involved. The four men kept one another occupied while Natalya bested Alicia with a discus clothesline. The fights broke up and the winners celebrated on the ramp. Kidd gave Natalya a pat on the back, but high fived and hugged Cesaro. A recap was shown of the winners of the Slammy Awards this past Monday night. Backstage, a furious Chris Jericho was storming the halls holding his jaw. He burst into Hulk Hogan’s office and demanded justice. “DID YOU SEE WHAT CODY RHODES JUST DID OUT THERE? SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE ABOUT HIM. YOU CAN’T JUST ATTACK THE BIGGEST STARS IN THIS BUSINESS ALL WILLY NILLY!” Hogan told him to calm down and said that he did what happened. “Cody Rhodes should be punished because interfering like that is not tolerated. And I think I know just the punishment. He needs to be taught a lesson. A lesson at TLC. A lesson taught by…you.” Jericho was beside himself, but Hogan said the decision was final. Jericho stormed out, more pissed than when he entered. ALEXANDER RUSEV W/ LANA DEF. KOFI KINGSTON IN 3:16; For the first time since Alexander Rusev beat and attacked him a few weeks ago, Kofi Kingston got another shot at the “Bulgarian Brute”. He started hot only to run into a huge jumping kick. As soon as the match started going south, Big E came to ringside to keep things from going the route they did last time. Rusev saw this and chose to apply the Accolade with Kofi facing his friend. Kofi tapped out and Rusev refused to release the hold. Big E entered the ring, so Rusev let go and quietly exited, saving the fight for Sunday.
Following the break, the ring was set up for MizTV. Summer Rae introduced the “A-List, most must see WWE Superstar and greatest Slammy host of all-time”, The Miz. He welcomed the audience to the most must see show on WWE television. “After my performance hosting the Slammy Awards, I truly believe that a new award needs to be developed specifically for me next year for Best Slammy Host. I should also win the award for Best WWE Talk Show and I’m going to show you why right now. Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time since having her head kicked into a mirror last Friday, the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Championship and longest reigning Divas Champion in history, AJ Lee!” AJ Lee made her way to the ring, still clearly banged up and with bandages on her forehead. Once inside, Miz went right into questions, asking AJ how she was feeling after last week. “I have to admit, getting staples in my head was never something I expected to have happen during my career but…” Miz interrupted her and plowed over her response, saying that having staples isn’t that big of a deal. “I’ve had to deal with multiple concussions. Have you?” AJ Lee gave an annoyed look and said that she wasn’t here to take Miz’s crap. “I agreed to do this show for one reason and one reason only and it wasn’t to hear your horrible voice.” Miz tried to speak again but AJ stood up and slapped the microphone out of his hand to a huge pop. “You will listen to me and so will Emma. It doesn’t matter what she did to me and it doesn’t matter what you do to me. I am not going away! I saved the women’s division from the garbage that people like your wife put it through.” Miz, and especially Summer Rae, were both taken aback by that remark. AJ continued, “Emma needs to understand that she can kick my head through glass but I’m not going away. I’ve been thrown off that stage, I’ve been put through tables and hell, I even once put the Tag Team Champions through a table. I’m still here and this Sunday, I’m taking the title that I wanted since I was a little girl. The title that I saw Trish Stratus, Lita, Victoria and Molly Holly hold. I become WWE Women’s Champion!” AJ threw the microphone down, leaving a slightly cowering Miz and Summer alone in the ring. BIG SHOW AND BO DALLAS DEF. ADRIAN NEVILLE AND DOLPH ZIGGLER IN 5:24; Once again, the opponents in the ladder match at TLC teamed up. Their efforts were strong here and they showed off good chemistry. Like Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho the night after Survivor Series though, a small miscommunication caused problems. Adrian Neville leveled Dolph Ziggler with an enziguri intended for Bo Dallas. Dolph had just been tagged, Bo clotheslined Neville out and Big Show came in with the WMD to defeat Ziggler. It was the first time Ziggler has been pinned since Night of Champions. Neville checked on Ziggler after the match, but the Intercontinental Champion was knocked out cold. A special video package now aired to chronicle the history between Erick Rowan, Luke Harper, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. It went all the way back to their match at Survivor Series last year. Their recent attacks on Punk and Bryan were the focus afterwards and this Sunday, their rivalry comes to an end in a Tables match to determine the WWE Tag Team Champions.
JOHN CENA DEF. SHEAMUS IN 14:08; As a final test before facing Authority members Batista and Randy Orton this Sunday, John Cena gets the group’s gun for hire of sorts. Sheamus played that role expertly, just pounding away on Cena. Orton and Batista joined commentary for the match and ran down Cena, though Batista was sure to throw in subtle jabs at Orton to keep him guessing about his motives this Sunday. Cena rallied and put down the “Celtic Warrior” with an Attitude Adjustment.
John Cena quickly got to his feet and kept his eyes on the former WWE Tag Team Champions outside. Both Batista and Randy Orton removed their headsets and Orton gave a signal to surround the ring. Batista looked at Orton, shook his head and walked away, not following his partner’s lead. Batista walked up the ramp with Orton following to try and sort things out. Cena seemed to enjoy watching this before ending the show by celebrating.

WWE: Tables, Ladders and Chairs: December 14th, 2014 – Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio
Fans piling into the sold out Quicken Loans Arena on this snowy night was the first thing shown on the TLC Kickoff Show. The lovely Renee Young welcomed viewers to the broadcast and introduced the rest of the panel, which included Booker T, David Otunga and this month’s special guest, Paul Heyman. Renee wanted to start by discussing the war between Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt, but Heyman interrupted. “Renee, I am the guest tonight and you should treat me with the hospitality that I deserve. I am here for one reason only and that is to scout the next victim for the reigning, defending WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. We’re going to start with the number one contender’s match.” Renee looked put off by this but went with it. Booker T predicted Cena would win, while Otunga favored Orton. Heyman said that the winner wouldn’t matter because Brock would run through them, but said he that if he had to make a pick, he says Batista. “Brock has already destroyed John Cena and as good as Randy Orton is, I’m here to make money for myself and my client and I think that the most money is in Drax the Destroyer vs. Brock the Conqueror.” Heyman was disinterested for the rest of the Kickoff show, while the panel discussed the Women’s Title match (two of the three picked Emma to win), Shane against Bray Wyatt (all three said Bray would win) and the Tag Team Title match (which the majority predicted the champs to retain). In the Social Media Lounge, Tom Phillips interviewed Dolph Ziggler, who said that he and Adrian Neville have both made it their point to try and not only steal the show, but have the best ladder match in WWE history. Renee took back over and sent it to the ring for our Kickoff match.THE PRIME TIME PLAYERS VS. TYSON KIDD AND CESARO W/ NATALYA; The Prime Time Players are a recently reformed veteran duo, while Tyson Kidd and Cesaro may be the hottest tag team currently in the WWE. Cesaro started things off with Young and quickly showed off his power advantage. “Cesaro just might be the strongest man in the entire WWE” said JBL. He and Kidd tagged in and out, establishing their chemistry. Young busted out a DDT from out of nowhere before making the tag to Titus O’Neil. Titus came face to face with Cesaro and the crowd came to their feet. Though Cesaro is insanely powerful, Titus was not about to be thrown around. He and Cesaro struggled to gain an advantage on one another until Kidd snuck in with a chop block. “What a cheap shot” exclaimed Michael Cole. Kidd and Cesaro showed off some impressive double team maneuvers on Titus, including the highlight of the match with the Cesaro swing/dropkick combination. Titus nailed the Clash of the Titus to a pop but was too hurt to cover. He crawled and tagged in Young, who came in on fire. He hoisted Kidd on his shoulders for the Gutcheck, but Cesaro charged in with a huge European uppercut to cut it off. Titus ran in and swung but Kidd dropkicked him in the knee. They signaled for the finish as Cesaro lifted Young for a straightjacket powerbomb and Kidd came off the top with a blockbuster at the same time. Kidd covered while Cesaro blocked Titus from breaking up the pin. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro defeated The Prime Time Players in 11:56!
The crowd in Cleveland gave a mixed reaction to the result. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro hugged one another as Natalya got in the ring to clap for them. Kidd saw her and took the time to hug her as well before the three of them continued to celebrate. The Prime Time Players exited up the ramp in disappointment.
Back to the Kickoff panel, who went back to talking about tonight’s show. Renee brought up the rivalry between Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho. Otunga felt that the match would go the same way it did back in the Survival Trials, with Cody winning. Booker agreed, but Heyman predicted Jericho will take it this time around. They moved onto the United States Title match. Booker T pointed out that Big E is one of the few men on the roster that can match Alexander Rusev for raw power. He was the only one to pick Big E being the man to end Rusev’s undefeated streak. The final match they covered was our main event, when former brothers Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins compete in a barbaric TLC match to earn the vacant Money in the Bank briefcase. After the four hosts made their picks (Renee got involved and chose Ambrose), they stood tied with Booker agreeing with Renee. A video package of their history closed out the Kickoff show. To open the official TLC broadcast, a video played to “Take That Knife Out of my Back” by Filter. It showcased Seth Rollins turning on the Shield and siding with the Authority at Survivor Series last month. Roman Reigns was put on the shelf, but Rollins and Ambrose have been at each other’s throats since then. Tonight, they try to settle the score in a TLC match. Cutting to the arena, Michael Cole, Jerry “The King” Lawler and John “Bradshaw” Layfield introduced the show following the opening pyro display. “Tonight, we witness one of the most brutal nights of the entire year as tables, ladders and chairs are not only welcomed…they’re encouraged!” exclaimed Michael Cole.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH – DOLPH ZIGGLER (C) VS. ADRIAN NEVILLE; The Quicken Loans Arena buzzed at the sound of the bell. Dolph Ziggler and Adrian Neville came together in the middle of the ring and shook hands, earning another pop. “The respect between these two men is commendable. They just badly want to hold that prestigious Intercontinental Championship” said JBL. Right after the handshake, both men quickly went outside and retrieved ladders. They stared across the ring from each other and charged forward, clashing ladders twice until Dolph won out on the third ram. He immediately set up the ladder and started to climb but Neville cut him off. Neville fired off a series of kicks and strikes as the ladder fell onto the ropes. Neville sent Dolph outside and looked up at the title before turning to look at Dolph getting up. “What’s Neville thinking here?” asked Lawler. Neville hit the ropes and ran up the ladder on the ropes before leaping off with a ridiculous shooting star press! The building exploded with “holy shit” chants. Neville slid back inside and set up a ladder. He ascended but Ziggler managed to get in and pull him down. They traded blows until Dolph ducked a spin kick and delivered a loud superkick that sent Neville outside. Dolph attempted a tope suicida but Neville avoided it and Dolph crashed into the announce table. “Neville has another opening here” shouted JBL. He entered the ring and set up the ladder once again, but Ziggler managed to just barely stop him and fight with him near the top. They traded elbows and clubs until Dolph headbutted him and took him all the way down with the biggest Zig Zag of his career! Both men stayed down for a while but once up, they began to trade blows and some of their signature moves. Neither was ready to back down. Out of nowhere, Neville snapped off a sick reverse rana onto a ladder. He crawled over to a ladder and looked back at Ziggler. Instead of climbing, Neville pushed the ladder back to the corner. “What the hell is Neville doing? Stealing the show is not as important as winning the title dammit” shouted JBL. Neville made it all the way up and stood atop the ladder, looking down on Ziggler. The crowd buzzed as Neville leapt off into an incredible Red Arrow, but Ziggler moved and Neville crashed to the mat with huge force. Gasps and more “holy shit” chants filled the Q. Even Dolph stared as Neville in shock. Snapping out of it, Dolph dragged the ladder to the middle of the ring and climbed up. When he reached the top, he looked down as Neville crawled and struggled to pull himself up the first two rungs. Dolph retrieved the title to remain the champion. Dolph Ziggler defeated Adrian Neville to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship in 16:26! Dolph Ziggler got down and helped Adrian Neville to his feet. Neville held on to his ribs tightly. Dolph raised Neville’s arm and pointed at him, while also giving him a concerned look. “I think Dolph Ziggler realizes that he was going to lose that championship if it wasn’t for Adrian Neville trying to be a show stealer himself” said JBL. Neville exited with the help of officials, while Ziggler celebrated with his hometown fans.
An advertisement aired to promote some of the latest WWE figures made by Mattel.
Before our next match, a video package was shown. Emma defeated her best friend, Paige, to become the WWE Women’s Champion back at the Survivor Series. She then put Paige on the shelf with a Michinoku driver through the announce table. With Paige out of the picture, AJ Lee stepped up for a title shot, but Emma tried to end her as well, kicking her head into a mirror. AJ returned this past Friday on Smackdown and had some choice words for Emma, saying that nothing will stop her from taking the title that she dreamt about as a kid.
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP – EMMA (C) VS. AJ LEE; As soon as things officially began, AJ Lee sprinted towards Emma and tackled her to the mat before delivering rights and lefts to the champion. Emma rolled outside as soon as the referee pulled them apart. Emma took a breather, but didn’t see AJ slide outside and shove her from behind into the steel steps. “Oh man, this is the AJ Lee that we saw during her intense rivalry with Paige” said Cole. AJ again beat on Emma with rights and lefts, screaming while doing so. The referee had to get between them again and give AJ a warning. Once back inside, the match calmed down a bit. “I think AJ remembered that the goal tonight is the title and not just hurting Emma” said Lawler. AJ went for the shining wizard, but Emma caught her knee and grabbed it into a leg lock. Fighting hard, AJ dragged herself to the ropes. Emma now had a target and the vicious WWE Women’s Champion went to work on AJ’s leg. She stomped on it, wrenched away at it and took every opportunity to attack it. Emma made sure to take time and taunt to the audience. It cost her though when AJ pulled her into the turnbuckle. She connected on a big spin kick and tornado DDT, but couldn’t capitalize because of her leg. AJ went for the Black Widow but Emma was able to counter into a German suplex. AJ crawled and sat in the corner, opening herself up for the Emmamite sandwich but kicked out at two. Emma looked for the Emma Lock but AJ rolled over and pulled Emma into a small package for two. Once both women were up, AJ spun around into the Black Widow. “We could have a new champion right here” exclaimed Cole. Emma refused to tap, using her free hand to wrench on AJ’s leg. It caused AJ to loosen her grip and Emma slammed her to the mat. The Emma Lock got applied and a disappointed AJ had no choice but to submit. Emma defeated AJ Lee to retain the WWE Women’s Championship in 8:18!
The Cleveland faithful booed loudly while AJ Lee writhed around in pain. Emma snatched her WWE Women’s Title from the referee and stood over AJ, raising the championship in the air. Emma could clearly be heard saying “IT’S ABOUT ME! THIS DIVISION IS ABOUT ME!” before walking off and leaving AJ in pain.
Byron Saxton was standing by backstage and introduced his guest, Seth Rollins. He asked Seth for his thoughts heading into the biggest match of his career. Seth cackled and responded by saying that he’s going in the same way he always does. “Do you remember my first match in the WWE? It was a TLC match on this very event two years ago. Sure that was the case for Dean too, but it was I who everyone was talking about afterwards and it was I that led the Shield to the win. Tonight, I’m going in with the same mindset I always have. I’m going to win, because I’m simply better than my opponent, especially when the opponent is Dean Ambrose.
CHRIS JERICHO VS. CODY RHODES; Over the past week, this rivalry has gotten more personal with the addition of Goldust and Dusty Rhodes. Chris Jericho went right up to Cody Rhodes’ face and could clearly be seen talking trash. Cody slapped Jericho in the face, so Jericho responded by tripping him up and trying for the Walls of Jericho. Cody kicked him away, but Jericho went right into attempting a small package for another near fall. “Cody wants to get his hands on Jericho, but Chris is trying to end this early” said JBL. A frustrated Cody kept getting pulled into pin and submissions attempts whenever he tried to grab Jericho. Cody had to roll outside and take a breather. “Chris Jericho is clearly in Cody Rhodes’ head” explained Lawler. Back inside, Cody seemed to come up with a plan and that was to just lay into Jericho with strikes, backing him in the corner. Once there, Cody placed Jericho up top and hit a big superplex, finally picking up some steam. They got up at the same time and Cody charged, but Jericho dodged. Cody kept running up the turnbuckle and connected on a beautiful moonsault for a near fall. Cody looked for the Disaster Kick but Jericho caught his foot in the midair and locked in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho wrenched back while Cody reached out for the ropes out of desperation. He finally managed to get there and that angered Jericho. “Jericho can’t let that get him off of his sound strategy” said JBL. He went to lift Cody, but got hoisted up for the Alabama Slam. Cody covered for a near fall. The crowd came alive as he grabbed Jericho for Cross Rhodes. Jericho elbowed his way out of it and they traded blows. Cody got the better and ran up for his signature moonsault again. Jericho avoided it and ran up to the second buckle. Cody landed on his feet, Jericho leapt off the second rope into a huge Codebreaker that got him the 1-2-3. Chris Jericho defeated Cody Rhodes in 11:14!A smug Chris Jericho got to his feet to a loud response of boos. He demanded the referee raise his hand in victory. Once it was raised, he spread his arms out to bask in the negative reaction of the fans. Jericho left a dejected and disappointed Cody Rhodes in the ring. “After the Survival Trials, it looked like Cody Rhodes was going to ride a huge wave of momentum into 2015, but he has hit a big roadblock in the form of Chris Jericho tonight” said Michael Cole.
An ad ran to promote Total Divas, which you can catch on the E! Network Sunday nights at nine!
This was directly followed by a video package that went all the way back, nearly fifteen years in the past. Four men were the focus. Brock Lesnar. Randy Orton. Leviathan. The Prototype. Footage showed the four men dominate while in Ohio Valley Wrestling before showing them evolve into the Superstars that they are today. Tonight, three of the most highly touted prospects in WWE history do battle for a shot at glory. A shot at the title. A shot at the “Beast” who was there with them at the beginning.
NUMBER ONE CONTENDER’S MATCH – BATISTA VS. JOHN CENA VS. RANDY ORTON; The three megastars looked across the ring at one another after the bell sounded. Batista and Randy Orton communicated and seemed to agree that they should work together against Cena. Cena fought them off, but succumbed to the numbers disadvantage. “Those two are your Slammy Award winners for Best Tag Team of 2014. John Cena doesn’t stand a chance” said JBL. Batista and Orton traded off shots on Cena before Orton connected on his signature backbreaker, which caused Cena to roll outside. Orton looked down at him with a smirk but heard the crowd buzzing. He slowly turned around to see a smiling Batista, who just ran and clotheslined him. Batista went off on a flurry of offense on Orton which had the crowd going wild. He signaled for the Batista Bomb, but Cena returned to the ring and rolled him up for two. Cena and Orton now worked together to try and keep the “Animal” down. Batista took them out with a double clothesline and had the crowd on his side. “Listen to this reaction for the Animal” exclaimed Lawler. He planted Orton with a spinebuster but Cena took him down with a shoulder block. He followed two of those with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena nailed Batista with the Attitude Adjustment but Orton broke up the pin. Orton and Cena went into an exchange of counters, thanks to their vast knowledge of one another. Orton hit his snap powerslam for a near fall before ending up in the STF. Orton struggled and had it broken up by Batista. Batista clubbed away on Cena and charged at him only for Cena to duck and use Batista’s own momentum to send him outside. Orton quickly attempted the RKO but Cena shoved him off to the ropes and picked him up for the AA, only for Batista to interrupt by spearing him. Cena fell to the outside, leaving Batista alone with his partner. He picked Orton up for the Batista Bomb, but Orton slipped out at the top. Batista turned towards him, right into a huge RKO. Orton covered and got the three count. Randy Orton defeated Batista and John Cena in 16:33! “Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time ever, Randy Orton is now set to go one on one with Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble” said Michael Cole. The “Viper” got to his feet and climbed to the second rope. He posed for the booing fans and stared over at the Kickoff panel. The camera cut to show that he was looking at Paul Heyman. John Cena threw his wristbands on the floor in frustration as he exited, while Batista got to his seat and looked up to see his partner celebrating. Going up to the Kickoff panel, Renee Young said “Wow, what a match. And what a match we’re now set to see at the Royal Rumble when Brock Lesnar faces Randy Orton.” She asked Paul Heyman about Orton staring over at him. Heyman seemed annoyed and said that Randy Orton made a big, big mistake. He got up and left the panel, leaving the rest of the group taken aback. Renee promised more action coming your way but first, took the fans to a recap of Tyson Kidd and Cesaro beating the Prime Time Players earlier. In the back, Tom Phillips was standing by with the number one contender for the United States Championship, Big E. He asked him about heading into a match against an undefeated brute like Alexander Rusev. Big E responded by saying that tonight is about more than an undefeated record and the US Title. “Rusev tried to injure Kofi Kingston. You see, a lot of people don’t realize this, but Kofi and I are really good friends and I take that seriously.” Before he could continue, Xavier Woods, who we haven’t seen since the Survivor Series, walked up to him. “Look man, I just wanted to say that I commend you for what you’re doing. Kofi is my friend too and I’m just sick of all of the negativity and bad things that seem to happen around here. Go avenge Kofi my brother, and then let’s all start being more positive. Things are looking up.” He walked off leaving Big E a bit confused.
Viewers were now taken to a special video package that looked at Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family’s assaults on Vince McMahon and Triple H. This led to the return of the “prodigal son” Shane McMahon. Shane got his first crack at Bray Wyatt at Survivor Series, but got caught up in his rage and used a steel chair, leading to a challenge for a chairs match. CHAIRS MATCH – BRAY WYATT VS. SHANE MCMAHON; No Wyatt Family with Bray tonight. He might have needed them because during his entrance, Shane McMahon appeared and whacked him in the back with a steel chair. The referee signaled for the bell to ring and Shane continued to wail on Bray with the hair. “It’s like the Survivor Series all over again” shouted Cole. Bray managed to escape to ringside, where Shane missed a huge shot and hit the steel steps instead. He dropped the chair in pain, opening the door for Bray to toss him into the steps. Bray now went under the ring and retrieved several steel chairs, throwing each one into the ring until the mat was barely visible. Shane was up and throwing jabs at Bray, who ducked one and drilled Shane with a big short arm clothesline. Bray beat on Shane around the ring for a short while before rolling him inside. “Uh-oh, this does not bode well for Shane McMahon” said Lawler. Bray sent Shane off the ropes and caught him with a vicious uranage onto the chairs. He laughed to the crowd before pinning Shane, but surprisingly only getting two. Bray picked Shane up for Sister Abigail, but Shane slipped free and laid into him with jabs that sent Bray outside. Shane followed with a pescado that got the crowd going. They got even louder when Shane began to clear off the Spanish announce table. He laid Bray on it and climbed to the top rope. In typical Shane form, he crossed his heart before taking the big leap of faith and putting Bray through the table with a massive elbow drop. Both men were down for a while, but Shane moved first and dragged Bray towards the ring. He struggled to pick him up, but managed to roll him inside. Shane covered but Bray got his shoulder up. “What the hell is Shane going to have to do to keep Bray Wyatt down?” asked Cole. Shane sat Bray in the corner and wedged a chair between the ropes in front of his face. He attempted Coast to Coast but Bray moved and Shane crashed back first onto chairs. With a smile, Bray lifted Shane, kissed him on the forehead and nailed Sister Abigail onto the bed of chairs to score the win. Bray Wyatt defeated Shane McMahon in 9:50!
Bray Wyatt crouched over Shane McMahon and looked up into the camera with a smile. “Bray Wyatt has done what he wanted. He defeated the prodigal son” said Michael Cole. Bray knelt and spread his arms out wide before shouting “FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS!” One has to wonder what Bray Wyatt has planned next.
An ad for the WWE Shop aired.WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP – ALEXANDER RUSEV (C) W/ LANA VS. BIG E; The trend of personal rivalries continued here as Big E came out firing against Alexander Rusev to try and avenge his friend Kofi Kingston. He sent Rusev back with big blows and caused the champion to regroup outside with Lana. “I don’t think we’ve ever Rusev in this much trouble so early” said JBL. After talking things over with Lana, Rusev got back in the ring and weathered Big E’s offensive storm. He got an opening when Big E tried his spear off the apron. Rusev moved and Big E landed hard on the floor outside. Now in control, Rusev took the time to pound away and wear down Big E. He nailed a jumping savat kick and signaled for the Accolade. Rusev slapped it on and Big E found himself in major trouble. Suddenly though, the former power lifter was able to do something that nobody else has done before. He began to power up and raise to his feet with Rusev on his back. “Oh my god, this is incredible” exclaimed Michael Cole. Big E forced Rusev to break the hold and then knocked him down with the E Train. THE STRAPS CAME DOWN! Big E hoisted Rusev up for the Big Ending, but Rusev slipped free and nailed a German suplex. He stepped on Big E’s back and applied an Accolade that Big E was unable to break this time. Alexander Rusev defeated Big E to retain the WWE United States Championship in 5:19!
Lana entered the ring with the United States Title and signaled for Alexander Rusev to break his submission. She handed him the title and he raised it high over his head. Big E failed to avenge his friend and Rusev’s reign of terror continues as commentary once again asked if anyone will be able to stop the “Bulgarian Brute.”

WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TABLES MATCH – CM PUNK AND DANIEL BRYAN (C) VS. ERICK ROWAN AND LUKE HARPER; Like their leader Bray Wyatt earlier tonight, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper were alone tonight. Right from the start, this was a war, with all four men just going at one another. Rowan was first to set up a table, opening it on the outside. CM Punk kicked him to stop him and whipped him into the ring post. On the opposite side of the ring, Harper launched Daniel Bryan over the guardrail and clubbed away on him in the audience. “This is an all-out brawl” said Michael Cole. Once things got back to the ring, it was clear that the challengers were in control, using their power to wear down the champions. Despite having the advantage, things turned bad for them first. Rowan set up Bryan for a chokeslam through a table, but Punk got in and broke things up. Punk hoisted him up and nailed the Go to Sleep. Rowan fell onto a table and Bryan climbed to the top. Punk launched himself onto Harper outside with a tope suicida as Bryan came off the top and put Rowan through the table with a diving headbutt. “The champions are halfway home! All they have to do now is put Harper through a table” explained Cole. Punk set a table up outside for Harper, but turned around right into the discus lariat. While Harper beat him up, Bryan and Rowan got to their feet. Bryan charged at Rowan, who ducked and sent him over the top and through a table on the outside. “Whoa! Things are evened up now” said JBL. With Bryan incapacitated, Harper and Rowan looked to pick apart Punk. They destroyed him with double team moves and some power based offense. Another table was set up and Harper looked to powerbomb Punk through it. Bryan got back in and laid him out with a running elbow. He did the same to Rowan and tried for the Busaiku Knee on Harper, but Harper ducked and Bryan caught Punk accidentally. Bryan couldn’t believe what he’d done and turned right into Harper’s discus lariat. Harper lifted Punk up and powerbombed him through the table to earn the titles. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper defeated CM Punk and Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Tag Team Championships in 14:38! “The successful night for the Wyatt Family has just been capped off” said Michael Cole. The referee cautiously handed Erick Rowan and Luke Harper their new Tag Team Titles. Harper and Rowan stared at the titles and raised them up high, avenging their loss to CM Punk and Daniel Bryan at Survivor Series last year. Once they left, Daniel Bryan entered the ring to check on CM Punk, who was in a lot of pain. As Harper and Rowan reached the entrance, the Wyatt signature hit and Bray Wyatt appeared next to them, with a wide grain. He reached over and kissed both of the new champions on the head in celebration.
An advertisement ran to promote the WWE’s next Pay-Per-View extravaganza. On January 25th, it’s the Royal Rumble! The road to WrestleMania begins on the WWE Network!
Following this, a video package set to “Take That Knife Out of my Back” by Filter was shown. It began with highlights of the Shield working together, including Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins teaming up this past year at Battleground. As the chorus played, Rollins turning on the Shield was shown. The rest of the video showed Rollins as the new face of the Authority and Ambrose’s weekly attacks on him. MONEY IN THE BANK TLC MATCH – DEAN AMBROSE VS. SETH ROLLINS; Seth Rollins made his way to the ring first and awaited the arrival of his former brother. Dean Ambrose came in through the crowd with a chair in hand. Just like Seth did at Survivor Series, Dean leveled him in the back with it. Seth escaped to the outside but Dean followed with a tope suicida and continued to lay in the rights and lefts. “Dean Ambrose is a damn lunatic” said JBL. Dean continued the assault, fighting with Seth up to the top of the aisle. He tossed him into some ladders on the stage, and Seth scrambled back down to ringside. Holding his back and desperately looking to turn things around, Seth was in trouble. Dean grabbed his steel chair and raised it high, but Seth stopped him with a low blow. He quickly capitalized with a running powerbomb into the guardrail. Still struggling, Seth placed a ladder inside and began to climb it. Dean got up just in time to prevent him from winning. They traded offense and Seth set a table up in the corner. “What the hell is going through Seth’s mind?” asked Lawler. Seth hit a charging Dean with a sling blade and sat him on the top rope. From there, he delivered a superplex right into a falcon arrow. Seth attempted to climb again, but Ambrose pulled him down. Seth punched him, Dean fell into the ropes and rebounded out with a clothesline that turned Seth inside out. Dean took a ladder and laid it across the ring apron and guardrail. Before he could do anything though, Seth was up and launching himself over the top with a tope con hilo! Seth laid Dean across the ladder and climbed to the top rope. He jumped off for a frog splash but Dean moved and Seth went through the ladder on his own! “Oh my! Seth Rollins could be seriously injured” exclaimed Cole. Ambrose crawled and pulled himself into the ring. He opened a ladder and began a slow ascent. The crowd loudly booed when the Director of Operations, Kane, ran to the ring. Ambrose saw this and jumped off the ladder with a huge elbow onto Kane the second he entered the ring. With Kane out of the picture, Dean began to climb again, but now Seth was back to his feet. He clubbed Dean in the back and pulled him down, but once down, Dean caught him with Dirty Deeds! Instead of climbing back up, Dean stared at Seth with a crazed look and exited the ring. He searched under the ring for something. Dean pulled a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire out to a huge pop. “Dean Ambrose is going back to his roots and he’s trying to scar Seth Rollins” said Michael Cole. Dean waited for Seth to get up, salivating at the thought of the chair shot. From the outside, Kane reached in and tripped up Ambrose, causing him to drop the chair. Seth saw an opening and hit him with a vicious superkick before picking him up and launching him through the corner table with a buckle bomb! Seth set up a ladder and began to climb it, but stopped when he heard the fans cheering. “How the hell is Dean Ambrose starting to get up?” asked Cole. Seth turned around, standing on a middle rung and looked down at his former partner getting up. As if something clicked in his head, a wicked smile came across Seth’s face. He jumped off the ladder with the biggest Curb Stomp he’s ever done, sending Dean’s face right into the barbed wire chair on the mat! With the damage done, Seth climbed back up the ladder and pulled down the briefcase. Seth Rollins defeated Dean Ambrose to win the Money in the Bank briefcase at 24:58! Seth Rollins stood atop the ladder and raised the briefcase in the air. Kane got back in the ring and applauded our new Mr. Money in the Bank, while officials and medical staff arrived to check on Dean Ambrose. Seth got down and looked at Ambrose, knowing that in the span of a few weeks, he’s taken out both of his Shield teammates. He and Kane headed up the ramp, where they were greeted by a proud Stephanie McMahon to close out the night.
