Stephanie is just so strong, empowering, beautiful and badass.  She makes everybody male or female bow down to her and she single-handedly started the women's revolution! I hope I can be like Steph when I grow up, I mean she worked so hard being born to Vince McMahon (unlike her stupid brother). I bet she could even kick Charlotte's ass and win the Women's Championship! ....That's going to end up happening, isn't it? |

I am hoping she causes Sasha to win the title and we get Sasha vs. Bayley for the Women's Title and Charlotte vs. Steph at Summerslam. I mean one of those is happening, I just hope the other gets setup out of it.

There was a quick adorable moment during the opening segment where she forgot she was holding a live mic and laughed at Shane dancing with New Day. It wasn't a "Let me laugh at these goofs to undercut them" laugh, just a genuine laugh at what she was watching. You see her trying to cover it up when the camera cut to her since she knew she broke character.
If she showed more of this side of her personality and less of the insecure "I can be as great as my dad" side, I think we'd like her quite a bit more.

Yeah.......... didn't Steph slap Naitch to the ground the week before and say she didn't have the respect for him that Shane does. Now she's all of a sudden a defender of him.

Well to be fair, look at the relationship she has with Vince. I mean, he sacrificed her to the devil, beat her with a lead pipe, tried to try and impregnate her, and saddled her with Zach Gowen while she tried to destroy his company multiple times and betrayed him marrying Hunter. A little bit of "You weren't there for me" isn't a reason to act like that in their world. |

For all we heap this shit onto Stephanie, I think people fail to remember that her dad is the one writing the show and that it's actually fully possible that if the person who makes all the decisions wasn't the person who in theory is most predisposed toward wanting to make Stephanie look good and really doesn't know how to make anyone look good anymore without making them infallible, that maybe she wouldn't be so insufferable.

No matter what Vince did or said to anybody, he always got his comeuppance. The payoff to Vince's evilness was somebody getting their revenge on him and humiliating him. And in the early 2000s, that was true of Steph too, she took every finisher, was insulted incessantly and frequently humiliated to make others look good. I don't know what cHHHanged. |
