Abyss tries to act hardcore, but apparently he's not hardcore enough to take them both. Just pictured Bob dressed as Beulah...I don't think I'll sleep today.

We don't know if Bob give Abyss the time of day for their regular shirtless cuddle parties he chose to go to WWE so can we stop pretending we know that now?

I don't really buy into Abyss was suppose to be booked to wrestle The Undertaker as a sure thing story. I'm sure they tell every big man wrestler they are about to sign that they are going to wrestle The Undertaker and most likely at Mania. Like it was originally suppose to be Nathan Jones vs. The Undertaker, then The Undertaker vs. A-Train, then The Undertaker and Nathan Jones vs. A-Train and The Big Show to finally The Undertaker vs. A-Train and Big Show in a handicapped match. Vince McMahon loves to change his f***ing mind all the time and The Undertaker always had a lot of say in his Wrestlemania matches. Like he was the one who lobbied to get Nathan Jones out of the card to wrestle Orton instead. Or how it was suppose to be The Undertaker vs. Heidenreich. Then The Undertaker and Kane vs. Heidenreich and Snitsky. To finally Undertaker vs. Orton. Hell the original rumours was The Undertaker vs. Luthor Reigns. Then there was suppose to be The Undertaker vs. Wade Barrett or The Undertaker vs. Braun Strowman. You are selling abyss short, back then he was a much much better worker than Luther Reigns or Heidenreich or Snitsky or Nathan Jones. I think that their promised pushes were thrown out because of how awful they were. Abyss was an infinite better worker than them. I believe that if Vince saw him work he would've given him a shot. Talent ultimately rises above and Abyss had it.

I'm not denying his talent, but Vince often changes his mind all the time and Undertaker usually prefers to work with guys he trust or young guys being pushed hard he respects. Like he asked for Ric Flair at WMX8 or Mark Henry in 2006 when he originally asked for Angle but Angle had to replace Batista. Or orton in 2005 because he knew hw was going to get pushed hard still. Like I can see him asking for proven veteran like Big Show or A-Train he trusts.

Even if he didn't worked with Taker from the start, Abyss could've contributed so much with the show. Hell Abyss in 2003 smackdown would've been epic. His matches with Benoit or Guerrero would've been magic. And he ultimately would've worked higher up in the card. 2003 shape Abyss vs Brock can be a main event anywhere in the world. Unfortunately because of reasons beyond his control his choice can be mocked now, poor Abyss, he gave and lost so much because of tna that it left him a broken and pathetic shadow of himself.

And Storm gets accused of a dumb move. Abyss's move was dumb... but at least TNA was in decent shape in 2003.

WWE was no guarantee (I mean they were blowing smoke up his ass with that UT Mania match promise) and maybe he didn't like the idea of that much travel. Also I know it seems crazy but maybe he felt that not being to use tacs in every match stifled his creativity. If it makes him happy at the time and he can look on with no regrets who are we to judge?

I had hope for TNA a decade ago and even before Hogan at least for a viable work place and alternative to WWE. I couldn't have been the only one

If it makes him happy at the time and he can look on with no regrets who are we to judge? He was already well established as one of the big fish in TNA by then, even if the pond was considerably smaller than what he had dangled in front of him. And considering how Snitsky, Nathan Jones, and Heidenreich had all fizzled out, sticking with the promotion were his star was already well entrenched almost certainly looked like a safer bet. That said, even a brief run in WWE would almost certainly have increased his asking price for a return to TNA or any other promotion after the fact-especially if he had gotten a freaking WM program with the Undertaker. And it might even have opened other doors for him, such as getting a foot in Hollywood such as Snitsky and Nathan Jones both later did. Couldn't you just picture Abyss doing pressure cooker commercials?
