Don't know what to do with my life.

I'm 23 years old, and still have no idea what I want to do with my life. I don't know what job I want.

Dude, don't sweat it. I'm 36 and I never figured out what kind of job I wanted with my life. I just stumbled onto a job that pays good and doesn't kill me. Sadly not everybody is gonna find their dream job. Just try to find something that pays the bills and doesn't take over your life 24/7 and focus on finding happiness in other areas like a good relationship or fun hobbies.

I'm worried that I won't get a good job because I was never good at math. I took resource math all through school.

However, I studied geometry and statistics on Khanacademy and found it easier than Algebra.

I was great in math, breezed through it in High School, was part of my major in college. After I graduated college most of the math I studied was never in any way useful in my life ever again. Don't worry about what you weren't good at, just look at what you are good at and see where that'll get you.

I wasn't very good at math, when I was in elementary and middle school, but I did better when I was in high school. I work in retail, but, it is a job I enjoy, and I try to help my fellow coworkers. Even if you aren't good in math, or, if you had questions about anything, your coworkers or managers should be able to help you. Good luck!!

It could be worse, I studied accounting and I also suck at maths...

Anyway my suggestion is to pick something you're interested in now (don't worry about long term yet) and either take some classes that will put you towards that direction. Or look at either getting a trade apprenticeship, or some job to mull you over for now and to also gain some experience. At least then you'll feel more productive and won't have to dwell on feeling as if you're useless. Meaning you might also find it easier to choose a direction you want to follow.

Remember, you may not feel it, but at 23 you're still a kid.

I'm taking online classes at my CC and getting my associate's in arts. I only have one more class to go.
Don't know what I'll do after that.

It seems that you've created at least two threads in OT that both kind of involve uncertainty about your future. Are you seeing a therapist? Do you have someone you can talk to about these issues? Because to me, and I'm speaking from experience, they sound very familiar.

1st, relax, it's normal to not know what to do at 23. You're young, you've got plenty of time to figure yourself out. You're going to be fine. Promise.
If you can, take a year or two off. Find out what you like to do, what you're good at. That should help you with a career choice.
And if you did chose a wrong career path, believe me, you're not the 1st to do so or the last. Most of us didnt have a crystal ball when we made our career choices, most of us got it wrong, but we all survived. We just had to pick ourselves up and try again. It's a pain in the ass, but it's doable. You'll have lots of company.

Here's one of the truest pieces of advice I can give anyone: Especially in your twenties, stop worrying so much about when everything is going to click and you're going to feel 'like an adult and have it all figured out' cuz here's the thing: that doesn't happen. Everyone you see, they're just doing their best to get along in their daily life, and making it up as they go along too.
