I know wrestling usually gloss over the bad things wrestlers have done once they turn face but any instances where their heel's past has been brought up?

Survivor Series 2007, in a backstage interview Triple H's own team (Jeff Hardy, Rey, & Kane) brought up stuff that he had done to them.

I would have loved if Jeff Hardy brought up Matt killing his dog when he tried to turn face and reunite with him.

During the Bret / Perfect match at the 1993 KOTR, Savage mentioned on commentary that Perfect had a 'salty past', and then applied the same term to himself.
Also, in a team interview in the build up to the 1987 Survivor Series, Hogan wondered aloud if he could trust Orndorff, and asked him to his face if he could.
I always thought that it was a nice - and all too rare - moment in the kayfabe era when a wrestler's past was highlighted in public. It somehow made it more real, as if wrestlers didn't forget who wronged them. However, that doesn't really explain Savage and Steamboat on the same SS team...!

Even as a face, William Regal was always great at pointing out that he was not exactly a nice person.

During Christian's last year in TNA there various segments where he tried to patch things up with Rhino and various other babyfaces he had screwed over after having been a heel for two years, largely because he needed a Lethal Lockdown team go to against the likes of AJ and Tomko.

One could argue that they kind of did so with Nailz, though it probably was unintended and indeed unmentioned. It was realistic given his past that Big Bossman was abusive.

When Hulk first returned to the WWF in December 1983 (saving Bob Backlund from being outnumbered by the Samoans), Bob told the people that Hogan's changed his ways since his last run there and he's a good guy now.
(Hogan promptly took over the interview; a sign of things to come.)

Bret Hart on RAW in 2010 bringing up Lawler's attack at KOTR'93 and Jerry's hilarious reaction harking back to his kayfabe hatred of Bret back in the day.

In ROH, I think when Alex Shelley was kicked out of Generation Next they did a storyline were no one would help him due to his previous actions with Generation Next.

Go Shiozaki, who left NOAH for AJPW a few years ago, returned late last year and has been trying to win back the respect of his peers and the entire NOAH roster since then. It all culminated with him winning the World Title last month, and after his first successful defence he announced that he wanted to sign with NOAH again, and after that, Naomichi Marufuji, who is basically the gatekeeper of NOAH, celebrated with him.

When I was a kid he was already the face commentator wr all know. According to his wiki page he rescued Bruno Sammartino from an attack by Luke Graham in 1969. I wasn't even born for his in ring career.
