No real specifics are out yet, but apparently Square had a massive information leak and like all of their E3 shit is out in the wild. Mentioning it here since while there's nothing to say what it involves there's something or other heavily connected to Nintendo in with it. My guess would be Dragon Quest 12 being Switch-exclusive. All I want is the mobile ports of IV, V, and VI on Switch like they did I, II, and III. That's it; it's ridiculous those ports aren't on there yet, as they are based off the DS and have aged like wine, unlike the first three games, which are decidedly not the best way to play those iterations

How is the rhythm the only one on Switch?

The reception to the SNES games is flat out negative, over six thousand dislikes Nintendo fans being shitty babies? Must be a day that ends in Y. And, I get it, this isn't an amazing batch, but what do they expect at this point? Mario RPG? Likely never happening due to Square Enix. Any of the FF's? Same issue. Earthbound or even Earthbound Beginnings? Nintendo seems pensive to put it on Switch in any form right now. It's not impossible, but I'd be surprised if they did given the reverence they hold with it. Turtles in Time or Batman Returns or any licensed game? Total pipe dream. At this point, the top tier SNES stuff that can realistically be put on the service is on the service. And stuff like Mega Man X, Super Castlevania, Contra III, Secret of Mana or many of the other big ones can be purchased on Switch through collections. Honestly, Nintendo shouldn't have put so many high tier games out so early because we're seeing those results now. At this point, they should really get to doing a GBA service or even N64 (though that will run out quicker given likely no Rare titles aside from maybe Diddy Kong Racing and DK64) Considering Nintendo and Microsoft are becoming best buddies by the day...a lot of Rare games on a Nintendo 64 Online isn’t too far fetched at this point.

I still think there is a reasonable chance we see a stripped down version of Game Pass on Switch. Something that focuses on indie and legacy games more so then modern AAA titles. I can’t see Nintendo ever allowing a full version of Game Pass on Switch, but some sorta deal where you link your Nintendo Online account to a Game Pass account and get access to 20-30 games for streaming doesn’t seem too far fetched.

I'm wondering about the way the leaks are pointing on that one. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Not sure what to expect out of the Sonic Collection. If it's just 1, 2, and 3 & Knuckles that'd be very underwhelming - all pretty widely accessible and 1 and 2 are already available on most everything anyway, plus they've done much better Sonic collections in the past - but if they go more meaty with it it might be worth a look. If nothing else it'd be cool to have some stuff like the Adventure games, maybe even throw in Heroes, for a change of pace.

There’s also the Sonic Colors remaster that’s been rumored since forever.

As for Three Houses... I love it to pieces but it's kind of an awkward one to start with because it's very unique in the series. I don't think it'd be too jarring to try Awakening or Fates afterward but there are a lot of ways in which they're very differently structured.

Xenoblade is another one I need to get Fair warning on Xenoblade, it takes a long time to acclimate to. It took two tries at playing both 1 and 2 before I finally stuck with 2, developed a taste for it, and ended up finishing it. By the end I did really enjoy it, but the combat system 1), isn't very intuitive, and 2), is extremely poorly explained despite them having a tutorial every five seconds for the first four or so chapters.

Something like the combat in Tales of Vesperia? (which I am also playing now)

Ask for Chrono Cross. Maybe we will finally get that.

I have so many fond memories of that game, it's so long overdue for a remaster/rerelease.

I'd be good with a Chrono Cross port but what I really want is a sequel that eradicates it from continuity.

Chrono Cross is one of those games were unless you look online you don't know how to get the ending That game came out when I was 8, and was the first RPG that I ever played. The whole size of it, the sheer number of playable characters, and the double disc thing just made it feel so epic. The multiple endings was part of that for me, back then. I've played it once as an adult and felt like it actually held up reasonably well. Sure, it's not a perfect game, but it is definitely one of the best ones of its time and I think it often unfairly gets compared to its predecessor, when it is not really a true sequel. I think a remastered Chrono Cross would be a perfect fit on the Switch. The thought of playing that game portably is super appealing to me.
