I do like the "Let's make Taylor Swift the plain girl in this video." Good luck with that.

Sorry, I've been the only holding things up this time but I just sent in my rankings. Had a really hard time deciding a winner as there are two songs I really, really liked and if they'd been in a regular round, they would have ranked very high on my list.

I was scrolling the masterlist of songs to see if something had been used before and I noticed alphabetically a song from last years finals wasn't there,I think the finale songs from season 10 are not included on the master list.

Updated the Master List to include them. Didn't affect the game, as there weren't any repeats this season, but it's good to have it updated.

I haven't sent in a song for Round 4 yet I'd like to see if I'm still in the game before I send my next song in.

Unfortunately one must go home
The true winner with all unanimous first place votes is Jazzman with Karmin
That leaves two
Knailsic...Brad...Please step foward
One of you got three last place votes...
The person leaving us...is Brad
Brad, now that you are eliminated, we can enter one more twist.
On the final round of this phase (Round 6), I will insert you as a Judge. This trend will continue for all eliminated contestants, to make the game and the choices all the more interesting
Remember all songs are due soon

Sorry to see the eliminated contestant go. It's difficult to get much momentum going in three Rounds and the Sing-off had three great players.
Jazzman's song was my favorite of the three due to its speed and complexity. Two vocalists with fantastic interplay, a beat that worked well with the vocals, a driving string sound, and risky delivery: I felt like the song was the most rewarding to listen to of the three and I felt that whomever selected it would continue to challenge us, which holds much weight with me in the game. I can see myself giving this at least a top three ranking in a regular round and, as it is, it's one of my favorite songs so far this game.
Knailsic's song was very much in his vein of music: a song that evokes a certain period, but not something that is overly familiar (at least to me). Fantastic vocals and beats; I wanted the player that selected this to move on because choosing music from that time period is not a given and I think I would very much like to hear more music that demonstrates that range. I would likely rank this song very highly in a regular round.
Brad picked a fun song from arguably the biggest hit-maker today. I've always appreciated players like himself, wadefan22, Roxie and others that have pop leanings. The game should embrace that music as well. I like Taylor Swift and I thought this was a very good song, but it's a bit early to see in this game, imo. I feel that an elimination round pick needs to wow us. This would make a great regular round pick and, indeed, Knailsic has selected a Taylor Swift song in the past, but there needed to be a bit more to it in order to stand up to the other two songs.
Still, that's just my opinion and I think this was a great opening sing-off. Congratulations to the two players moving on; I hope that I can be of more help when the judging comes in the future, as you are both fantastic players. Brad, I'm glad to see you go with this song because it shows that you bring not only humor, but quality music to the game.

For some reason, I never would've guessed that Jazzman of all people would be choosing a cover of a Rae Sremmurd song where it's win or go home.

My rankings and thoughts on the sing-off:
1. Karmin and Watsky - No Flex Zone 2. Darondo - Didn't I 3. Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
Darondo - Didn't I
Very odd and interesting choice. Not sure what to say about it especially since it seems to mix up different genres but I do like it a lot. It's one of those things that just works.
Karmin and Watsky - No Flex Zone
Another very unique genre-busting pick and another one I really like. Even the singers' looks are a strange mix as not only do they have very different styles but neither of them really looks like how you'd picture someone doing this kind of speedy hip-hop. But yeah, really love their style, with the synth and low-pitched cello fitting oddly well with the rapping.
Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me
So... it's basically the story of a girl who's trying to convince the boy she's crushing on to dump his girlfriend for her? Creepy. Also, is Swift trying to make us buy her as a simple girl with simple tastes? Please.
Now, the song isn't bad at all (if you ignore the frankly disturbing theme) but it's still a very generic pop song the likes of which we've been hearing on the radio for the past 20 years. It's not particularly remarkable and compared to the other two songs which really have a unique identity, it's just not gonna cut it, is it?

Just sent my rankings in. That round was a blast as there were many great songs and none that I downright disliked, although that's also what made it hard to judge. I frequently had to shift my list around as I had a hard time deciding which songs I liked better and deserved to be above others.
