 The Judges have reached a verdict for Sing-Off #7. It was not unanimous. Sing-Off #7 was held between @babaganoush RadcapRadsley Ya-kishiThe Sing-off was double elimination and, while all three contestants played a fantastic game this Season, only one will move on to the top 8. Each player brought a highly individualized style to the game and they should be proud of doing so well in what is a very difficult game. Whenever there is another season of FAN Idol, all three should be a part of it in some capacity, as player, judge, or host. Chaos chose Irvine, California's Young the Giant and their song The Apartment, while Ya-Kishi countered with Soul legend Sam Cooke's The Hem of His Garment. The inimitable radradsley rounded out the Sing-Off with post-punk icons the ID and their song The Misunderstanding. Ssnakebite, the Number One Frenchman chose Sam Cooke, while Spiderfab4 picked the ID. With myself and judge fw91 voting, the contestant moving on is... {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} radradsley! Congratulations, you have earned votes from spiderfab4, myself, and fw91. You continue to wow us with your musical choices and I mark out for how adventurous you are. Like last season, you are one of the players to beat and you make any round that much more interesting. Good job!
That means that I'm afraid to say that Chaosxeffect and Ya-kishi have been eliminated from this Season of FAN Idol.
Both of you have been unbelievable this Season, with your performances rivaling what you did last Season.
Chaos, you've picked perhaps my favorite song all season, with Panic at the Disco!'s Nearly Witches. You have played your game all throughout this and sometimes I ranked you last, and sometimes you sent in my favorite song of the round. The Death Cab for Cutie song you sent was fantastic! You added such great music this game  .
Ya-Kishi, you said to me that you wanted to go out with the best and you have. We could count on you to dip into musical genres that we don't often see in Fan Idol, like hip hop and dance music, that challenged the judges. You gave a wonderful picture of your musical tastes and you wow'd us with songs by Radiohead and Bjork (you join myself as one of three contestants to use her in this game). A fantastic performance over-all Yaya and I'm glad you got to leave with a song from one of the best ever!

At this point in the game, we need to announce a few judging and hosting changes. First, while the judges will remain a solid unit until this Season's conclusion, one judge has decided to step up as our new Host. As Pegasus Warrior can attest to, being Host can be a very difficult role to have and we all appreciate this person stepping up. The new Host is Spiderf 4! The judges will continue to help him with round ideas, but he wanted the opportunity to host the remainder of the Season. He's got it and the rest of us are here when he needs us. This has been a damn good season so far and I know he'll do his best to keep it that way. He's decided to step down as a judge as a result. Needing one more judge, we recruited an eliminated player, one with a ton of experience playing, as well as judging. The new Judge is J! So, with that, we're up to date on the changes for this Season. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. The top 8, please send your songs to spiderfab4 and good luck! The Host can announce the theme for Round 19 when he is ready. |

Much respect to SpiderFab for stepping up. It's a steep learning curve, but here's hoping you're up for it. Thanks a ton to Tyger for keeping us all going.

If I'm being honest, I probably should have been eliminated earlier this season. Some of my choices sucked. I'm glad I made it this far, though. Good luck to everyone else! I look forward to see what music everyone picks in these upcoming tough rounds!

Does it have to be a pure duet, as in "You'll Do Nothing" by Conor McGregor and Roman Reigns, or can it be a "featuring" as in "He's The Guy" by The Roman Reigns Trio ft. Bob Holly?

Roman Reigns is a pretty good singer but his manager has him too shackled and scripted to a singing style music affecianados just aint buying. I feel bad he keeps getting booed so much at concerts.

It's tough because the game is reactive in many ways. I know I've chosen stuff that, looking back I wish I hadn't and I'm sure that applies to most players. I loved a good deal of music that you chose. Much of it was risky, but I like that. You stuck to your musical style and you were able to create a bit of an identity in terms of songs you chose, which doesn't always happen. You've won rounds, which is not a guarantee when playing, and considering you did so after wanting to judge, that shows that you can be a good judge in the future. |

If I may, I just have a few words: Just about the game, I swear Ever since I was introduced to this game, I got to know some of you a little more, and I felt a bit closer because I got to share the stuff I listen to, whether it be popular or weird...and I felt like I fit in. I know some of my choices were not the best (I still won't live down the Neon Hitch/ICP combo), but I can't say that I didn't play every round with my own taste. I do thank Mr. Tyger for those kind words though, It was not easy to go out, but I'm glad I went out with a song I love. I wish luck to Spider, as I could only imagine how hosting would be. \ Love you all, Yaya |

The game is definitely better with different contestants with different musical tastes, so the game was definitely improved that you were in it. So thank you. |

While Round 20 is being judged, we can put up Round 21:  ROUND 21: SEASONS Send a song that ties into one of the seasons. It's a bit of an open to interpretation round, it can sound like a season, it can mention a season, or mention a month or holiday in the season or anything about the season.
