...Nikki Bella/Stephanie McMahon/Charlotte/Sasha Banks/Becky Lynch/Ric Flair/Papa Shango/*insert name here* started the [REDACTED] Revolution.
12 months later, where do you think things stand with the revamped women's division? What have been the highlights, the lowlights, the creamy middles? What improvements are still to be made? How many joke posts about thanking Stephanie McMahon can we fit into one page despite her involvement being limited to corralling the women into teams in the above segment?

I remember Papa Shango starting the Divas Revolution like it was only yesterday

It got a lot better when they stopped telling us things were changing things up and actually just changed things.

Still the same Divas division with a new name and new women on top. No real change from booking and outside of the 3 way at this year's Wrestlemania, no big improvement in the in ring portion. Still 2 women feuds max and the rest of the women either being jobber fodder or disappearing.

That whole ordeal just makes me think that they hilariously thought "Submission Sorority" was A) A Good Name and B) Not Already Porn

The three-person team story was also atrocious. There was no reason to care about them since the only thing worth fighting over was the title. It also killed off Brie and Alicia Fox for me. How am I supposed to care about characters who outright refuse to chase a title that would help their careers for little reason other than loyalty? It made no sense for Brie after Nikki told her she wanted her dead and Alicia had no reason to be in their stable.

Honestly I find the division more insufferable presently than I did back in the Kelly Kelly days. Still probably better than it was this time last year though in that the title's actually involved and the champion's actually doing something... even if I kind of wish she wasn't because Charlotte is just the worst.

The first few months with the team stuff was really bad, it picked up a bit after focusing less on teams. From right before Fastlane through WrestleMania, it was at it's peak, with of course that great triple threat at Mania. Unfortunately, since then it's had more downs than ups & like already mentioned, it's been like the divas division was, same stuff, different cast.

I only save Becky.

Reminds me of when Paige got called up and people declared that her and AJ Lee were going to usher us into a new era of Women's Wrestling. What we got was faux lesbian antics and two wrestlers with no in ring chemistry stinking up their matches.

One year later and they aren't pushing Becky
What's the point of life?

Really? I cant remember I single match from Kelly that was terrible. Although if this is the same time Beth pheonix was about I did enjoy her a lot. But having K2 As the face of the division really dragged the whole thing down

Wake me up when Bayley gets a call up, any real change (if any) lies with her in my opinion.

It started badly but things improved for a while. Then Becky didn't win at WM (or even Sasha) and instead of the fresh start the division could have enjoyed it's gone downhill ever since.
We're coming up to the year anniversary of Sasha vs Bayley at Brooklyn and I haven't been as invested in any match since. Sasha was my favourite, I loved Dana when she was aligned with Emma and Charlotte player her part in things too. Yet I barely care about their current angle, it's running on leftover fumes from the good stuff they all did a year ago.
Even if Sasha wins the title what really changes? It's clear it isn't the women that are the problem, WWE just have no idea how to book them. All the cool little moments and character arcs they once benefited from have gone. When Bayley arrives on the main roster it will probably only improve things in the short-term and then we're basically out of saviours, I can't see the brand split helping matters.
What a waste of the talent, goodwill and momentum they had built up.

But having K2 As the face of the division really dragged the whole thing down I think the big difference is back then, it was boring but short. Now, it's boring but eats up a lot of TV time. That and Kelly Kelly was at least kind of likable while the division these days can't seem to do a story beyond, "Bitches be crazy."

I read that title in Jeremy Clarkson's voice and was disappointed to find no references to The Stig when I opened it. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)

Wake me up when Bayley gets a call up, any real change (if any) lies with her in my opinion. If they do it right, Bayley can change the entire product, not just the women's division. So ya know, she will debut as Doinkette.

I thought it was hilarious on Raw how Cole said the women were "breaking the stereotype of what Divas are". WWE CREATED THE STEREOTYPE! IT'S YOUR FAULT!
