The teaser poster is out... And since this is a wrestling board, I'll get the joke out of the way. HEY GUYS! THEY'RE FINALLY MAKING A MR. JL MOVIE!

Nolan's Batman also very clearly didn't kill. Eh, to be fair, he didn't want to kill but he totally did. Killed a whole building full of people in Begins including the guy he was refusing to kill that led to that and killed Dent in Dark Knight. Plus he pretty much killed Ra's since besides the, "Don't have to save you," thing he's the reason he got in that life-ending situation to begin with. Anyway, personally I don't really mind a killer Batman since my favorite ones are probably the Burton movies and he mows down tons of people in those, but I do prefer when he doesn't kill, it's a major plot hole that he does because in a world where Batman kills there is no way Joker should survive more than one or two run-ins with him, and at the very least he shouldn't be as absurdly trigger happy as he is in Batman vs. Superman. Also I'd love to see a live action Under the Red Hood but it'd basically be a complete mess in this universe because the fact Batman doesn't kill is the entire backbone of its plot.

This is my theory on the arc. Batman started off as peaceful. Then The Joker killed Robin. Shortly after those events Batman vs. Superman happened where a disheartened Batman has bended his own rule because he knows Robin and others would still be alive if he have killed The Joker but to be fair The Joker might just got away every time in this universe. Superman's self sacrifice has restored Batman's faith. I mean, that's plausible. That doesn't necessarily mean the arc is any good. Batman shouldn't need a redemption/faith restoring arc because one of his defining characterizations is he's resolute in his beliefs.

All I'll say to that whole thing about Batman with guns is this...
It seems a bit skewed to not use guns, but still have missiles on your jet (even the Justice League cartoon had missiles on the Bat-Plane).
For the record I'm in the boat that Batman shouldn't kill too, even if other media have shown him doing so.

Superman's self sacrifice has restored Batman's faith. It ignores what was stated in Suicide Squad that in response for Joker killing Robin, Batman broke Joker's face and dumped him in prison. There is no way Joker should be alive in this universe. then again considering Joker in Suicide Squad I can understand why you'd want to ignore that movie >_> THIS is a massive irritation for me I can live with Batman killing (I LOVE the Burton movies) but at least be consistent

I never understood the "if Batman killed people, why would joker still be alive?" argument.
The joker in Suicide Squad isn't a goon - the character is portrayed as calculating, resourceful and on par w/ Bats in terms of being able to pre-plan the heck out of a situation.
It's not so far in the realm of implausibility that Joker would be able to stay alive in a world where Bats is willing to kill.

Batman beat the crap out of Joker for killing Robin and then sent him to arkham. Batman that flat out killed people indiscriminately like he did in Batman v Superman with the justification that Joker killed Robin.... there is no chance in hell Batman would stop beating Joker until he was puddle.

Did they specify that Batman sent Joker to Arkham in Suicide Squad? I don't exactly recall? And based on how they've characterized Joker in these movies - if he's in Arkham, it's because he wants to be there.

That's right, I vaguely remember that now. Bats' decision to start actually killing could've happened afterwards or because he realized the futility of locking people up in combination with Robin's death. Maybe the cops interfered before Bats could finish the job. Maybe joker manipulated Bats into NOT killing him by begging for death or saying some joker shit like "yes, kill me like I killed your boy wonder, then we'll be the same!!" stuff like that. There's tons of explanations; I don't see why it's such a sticking point for people. It makes sense to me. I also like when things are left unsaid in films. Adds a bit of mystery which I know goes against the grain with most modern superhero films.

We know Superman's in the movie, but a bit interesting that he's been largely left out of the initial trailer & posters. Probably because he's technically dead.

Looks good, still has the typical overly darkened Snyder look to it, but they all seem to have some chemistry. Not sold on the casting of Aquaman, and as much as I love him, Ezra isn't Barry, but yeah, it looks pretty good. Awful sound editing though. Seriously whoever is picking sound tracks for these trailers/movies needs shooting. That Beatles cover just didnt work there at all

Feeling the trailer. Good team dynamics. Action looks well done.
Bats joking about being a trust fund superhero was perfect.
I'm really enjoying deadpan dickish antisocial Aquaman though. ****sees batsuit for the first time**** "Dressed like a bat...I dig it."
Come Together cover was a nice touch.

Steppenwolf in the first movie with the first invasion and the Darkseid comes with the big guns. Anyway, Aquaman being Batman's bro at the end of the trailer was awesome.

Cool-bro Aquaman is like a better, more awesome version of Roman Reigns.

Looks better than what's come before.
But we've all been tricked by DC trailers, so we'll see.

Yeah. I'm in. I was completely sold when I saw Aquaman riding on top of the Batmobile. Only thing I don't like is that the plot pretty much seems to be the same as the first Avengers movie. Wish they were fighting something besides an alien army.

I wasn't blown away by this one. May have to give it a re-watch later. Right now, it looks fine. Doesn't look bad, just nothing that really hyped me up.
Though I did like dudebro Aquaman.
