Other then one miss Singer knew what he was doing

I would love to see DC do well in their movies More good Comic Book movies the better Of course, I don't disagree at all. As comic book fans there shouldn't be any form of a feud at all. Marvel has its flaws and so does DC, however, for anyone to think that Marvel is perfect is just absolutely wrong and they could definitely take more risks with their stories and characters. I give DC credit for at least attempting to present a darker and more serious take of their product rather than playing it safe. Yeah Marvel not perfect at all IM 2 and 3 are bad and Strange is average as hell

If it's really bad (and I mean everyone hates it, even the staunchest defenders of the previous films can't defend it, and it bombs) It'll never happen. Those staunchest of defenders would find a way to praise Gal Gadot and Amy Adams reenacting 2 Girls 1 Cup while Batman and Superman have a wrestling-style pose down for three hours.

I will say Iron Man 3 would've been amazing if not for that stupid twist. Strange I can agree was decent/average, suffering from the usual Marvel humor taking away from the serious and intense moments of the film. But all in all, I really hope DC is successful and they can right the ship. I know we've been burned by trailers before. I believe we all can agree that Wonder Woman actually looks pretty damn good, I mean looks really good. Justice League I think is shaping up great too. I will need to see another trailer and all, but something tells me we're going to be very surprised.

Part of me is just disappointed and sad that my response to a Justice League movie, something I've wanted since I was a little kid is pretty much...meh.
Meanwhile, The Guardians of the Galaxy which is a group I had no idea even existed until the first movie came out, Has me so hype I watch the newest trailer at least once a day.

I've been accused of being too hard on the DCEU so far, being a Marvel fanboy and all those other strawmen arguments, but I dislike these movies so intensely for the same reason I dislike the Transformers ones: I grew up with these characters and want these movies to be amazing. The fact that they're not, and are in fact terrible despite having great casts, stunning special effects and everything in their favour, just pisses me off.

Obviously I'm gonna see Justice League, its just that I have no hype for it.

At least with Transformers you can say the first one is decent I found it a fun watch the first time around with a couple of buddies. Second time, watching it by myself, it didn't hold up. It is the clear best of a bad bunch, though.

How often do you hear a company actually running out of product to sell. Nothing was left in the warehouse

I think that's the case with a lot of franchises. People have a crazy nesolgic attachment to this stuff and if you mess it up people are going to be brutal. I've said it before Justice League and Justice League Unlimited was life at one point. Hell growing up the only Marvel heroes on my radar were Spiderman and the Xmen. I was a complete DC fangirl. To see what WB and ESPECIALLY Zack Snyder has done to this pisses me off.

Everyone thought Batman vs Superman was easy to do and yet became a mess I've watched that movie 3 times trying to figure out how WB thought some of that was a good idea. Like I don't get the reasoning behind it at all. The most surprising thing I got from that was the Ben Affleck is a kickass Batman. Which honestly was the thing I ranted the most about going into BVS.

To see what WB and ESPECIALLY Zack Snyder has done to this pisses me off. For me it goes back to comic books carrying the stigma of being "dumb kids stuff" by Hollywood, so whenever something got made into a movie it was either treated as a two-hour toy commercial, dumbed down and kiddiefied, only superficially resembling the source material, or a combination of all three. The fact that comic book movies are now "legitimate" and aren't subject to those pitfalls makes the mess that is the DCEU even more unforgivable.

I just don't know what it is with DC moviewise.
Its just lacking.
Yeah the MCU has flaws. The villains lack substance. There's too many jokes sometimes. But when I go see a MCU movie I can trust that I'll be entertained.
Going to see a DCEU movie I can trust I'll be dissatisfied and depressed.
