I think 5.3 is harsh, personally.

Kinda funny how loose Bruce is with his ID. "You're the Batman?" "Yep." Well, not any worse than Lois shouting Clark while holding Batman in the air. It's also safe to assume that the people weren't even paying attention to Aquaman's and Bruce's conversation.

Yeah none of em are that worried bout IDs.
Perry White is gonna be pissed Clark still hasn't finished that football story.

I think 5.3 is harsh, personally. Maybe I'm a harsh critic, but for me a very good movie is an 8, and an average movie is a 5. JL has enough to lift it above being a bad movie, but not enough to get it to above average. Much as I liked Ragnarok, I felt 7.5 is fair to that too. It's good, but not very good, as the % score or RT might suggest.

Like, a 5.3 from you would be a 7 from others, so to speak haha

I told people to actively avoid ever seeing Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. I wouldn't go that far with Justice League, but I'd say wait until it comes OnDemand or on HBO.
Gal Gadot is just so good as Wonder Woman. All the Superman/Flash scenes are great (When Superman called Flash a "slow poke", I wanted to stand up and yell "You motherf***ers FINALLY figured him out!"). For all the crap Cyborg gets, I thought the dude playing him wasn't all that bad. That's about it. Completely bland villain and story. The three new Leaguers were totally flat characters since they each got about 10 minutes or less to explore who they were, what drove them, etc. The entire League was rendered fairly pointless once Superman got in on the act.
It wasn't a good movie but it wasn't a terrible one either. It was just there.

Now I'm really wondering the cover story for Clark.
"We had a funeral for you, what happened?!"
"Well it definitely wasn't Doomsday, I will tell ya that!"

I normally don't use a rating system, but on the "Meltzer scale"....JL would be a *** match. Those stars are just based purely on my subjective personal enjoyment.
For me, Civil War and Wonder Woman were ****3/4. Dark Knight, and Winter Soldier were each. *****.
Deadpool was ****1/2, Suicide Squad was **3/4. Guardians 1 and 2 are both ****1/2 minimum.
Dawn of Justice was *1/4. That star is for the cool "Mankind is introduced to The Superman" intro.
Catwoman is at least -***.

Also, would a live action Sailor Moon movie automatically be ****** being in Japan?

I'M HERE TO SHOOT THE WORLD Considering some of the crap Punisher has been part of in the comics, having him act like Dolph Ziggler wouldn't be the worst thing he's done.

Personally on reviews I prefer to think of 5 as a baseline. To that end I'd probably give Justice League a 6 - it has enough moments to make it more than just, "That was a thing that existed," but I don't really consider it anything special.

I think regardless of any numerical system people value the same wording getting thrown around is "fair" and "okay" and for JL that's fine. It's middle of the pack. It's not Wonder Woman but it's def not as low as BvS and Man of Steel The problem is despite this movie being "fair" will the money invested in this movie be worth it and if not, do they still continue moving forward hoping they can make a profit

No point of a full reboot or even a soft one, just have the studio stay out of the directors way and let them make their film. Plain and simple. Whatever they do they need to look into keeping Ben as Batman though. He literally is the best on-screen live action Batman that I've seen and I would hate to see him leave the role.

Also was kind of a asshole when Clayface was trying to cure himself That episode bothered me to no end. I understand the guy's a thief, but Batman could have let him regain some sort of normalcy before he tried to stop him. It wasn't like he was putting anyone in danger.

Problem is, it seems he doesn't want to be there I say if he wants to leave let him do Matt Reeves directed Batman first. Let that be his swan song if he wants to leave still. But if I were WB/DC I am doing everything in my power to keep and give him what he is asking for. Whether it's money, creative control, and no studio interference I am bending over backwards for him. Also maybe a couple years away from the DCEU may actually do him some good and allow him to recharge as well.
