That Gordon pic looks great. I guess I'm the only one in this thread that is pretty positive about this flick ha Nah, I'm pretty pumped for it. But I also loved MOS and BvS Ultimate Edition. Right there with you.

It looks kinda like lacy panties to me. I get a kick out of that being the bat symbol. "Master Wayne, someone is shining a light in the sky. It looks like boy shorts." "They're going to have to up their game, Alfred. The Bat doesn't fly for boy shorts. Not after Robin died."

I guess I'm the only one in this thread that is pretty positive about this flick ha On the contrary. With Affleck and Johns pretty much calling the shots, Snyder undermined, and Goyer nowhere in sight, I'm looking forward to it.

False alarm, maybe, either way, taking it down till we get something more official.

I have a question that no one has really been able to answer. With the negative reviews that BvS and Suicide Squad received is it really fans who are hardcore diehard Marvelites attempting to sabotage the DECU? Or is there something legitimately wrong with the product?
I understand the basic things of what was wrong with BvS and Suicide Squad. However, as a whole what seems to be the case in terms of causing such a divide amongst fans and critics?

I have a question that no one has really been able to answer. With the negative reviews that BvS and Suicide Squad received is it really fans who are hardcore diehard Marvelites attempting to sabotage the DECU? Or is there something legitimately wrong with the product? I understand the basic things of what was wrong with BvS and Suicide Squad. However, as a whole what seems to be the case in terms of causing such a divide amongst fans and critics? I think there's a lot of reasons. Partisanism amongst the hardcore fans is definitely a contributing factor, though I question just how big the impact is, since there's no real way to put a figure on the size of each side engaged in that particularly dogfight. It is worth noting that within 24 hours of the negative reviews of Suicide Squad being published the movie held very high audience scores on both RT and IMDb with tens of thousands of votes being cast, despite the movie not yet being released, which suggests that there was a much bigger effort on the part of DC's fans to artificially inflate those scores than there was on Marvelites to deflate it. As for critics, I think there is still a lot of anti-comic book bias. Marvel's movies get almost grudging praise from a lot of critics because they are objectively well-made movies, so the only real wiggle room critics have is whether they enjoyed them or not. DC's movies have been very flawed thus far, so any critics who do have an anti-comic book bias have been able to go to town. Additionally, DC's hardcore fans have very thin skins (the petition to take down RT being the shining example of this), so a viciously bad review is going to generate a lot more page views than a neutral or even a positive one. And yes, there is definitely something wrong with DC's product so far, with rushing to catch up with Marvel rather than taking time to build their universe is the chief culprit, in my opinion. Throw in the mediocre talents of the people in charge and the panic by the studio and you've got the mess we have now.

My issue with Suicide Squad was it should've been left alone because the studio meddling just made it a mess (Still an entertaining movie). The changes should've started with Wonder Woman.
Another thing that bugs me with DC/WB is their treatment of the TV verse, YOU HAVE A MULTIVERSE dammit (Characters in both TV & Movies can co exist)
That's not Pro Marvel bias speaking as I'm a DC fanboy and heaven't read a Marvel Book since "Siege" (I don't hate Marvel BTW).

Blaming Marvel Fanboys for the scores is just deflecting as there are just as many die hard DC fans. The movies failed because they put Goyer (who pretty blatantly hates comics and their fans.) and Snyder who thinks he's smarter than he is but routinely misses subtlety and major messages of things he's adapting, in charge of the universe. From all accounts Batman V. Superman's theatrical release was a mess that tried to tell about 7 stories at once and then they cut out about 30 minutes worth of important plot details so it basically came down as completely nonsensical. adding them back in at least tells a coherent story but still a pretty bad and bloated one. Suicide Squad was also a mess it's tone was pretty much all over the place because they made a trailer that was completly unlike what the movie was. So they reshot stuff to make it more like the trailer because it was so well received and basically took two completely different movies and sewed them together. Another thing that bugs me with DC/WB is their treatment of the TV verse, YOU HAVE A MULTIVERSE dammit (Characters in both TV & Movies can co exist) That's been DC/WB's MO for seemingly ever. remember JLU had the Bat Embargo because "The Batman" was also playing and they didn't want multiple versions of the characters.

Every time I see a picture of Flash in this movie it always looks more like promotional art for an action figure then a real life person in a costume.

Steppenwolf......CGI, Why?
Just cast a big guy who can act or a guy that'll pack on some mass
Steppenwolf should not be CGI he's human sized for Petes sake
