Easily one of the best sports documentaries I've seen. It's only 6 episodes, and they do gloss over some things. But it's very entertaining, funny, and gives you a glimpse into the college football grind. Some of these guys comes off as idiots at times, but it gives more nuance than we like to see a lot of times. I don't think there will ever be a season 2, seeing how season 1 turned out (at least with EMCC). But man, what a short, wild ride.

Two episodes in and it already feels like a movie with the way how events turn out. Kind of like how the unexpected movie like life twists made Hoop Dreams a more interesting documentary

It turned out more like a better Hoop Dreams. Like, it's REAL for these guys and sometimes they're aware of it and sometimes they're not. It also helps a lot that they're on Netflix and can get away with the cursing and using decent music. The last 4 episodes are fantastic both in terms doc quality and being action packed. There's no way they can follow it, because their season is nuts.

Just started episode 2. After reading these posts, I can't wait to see what unfolds. I'll probably finish it tonight/this morning (overnight eastern).
