You'd probably be safe putting a big old X over Ashley Remington's face at this point.... Also, I understand the frustration of guys leaving. I do. But we have to remember that these guys aren't signing contracts like in WWE. It's like the early days of TNA. Wrestlers come and wrestlers go. It's just the way that it is. See at this point it's not so much the guys coming and going, it's the fact Quack loves this long slow burn booking and it screws up so many storylines they attempt that it's ruined CHIKARA as much as the talent pool being bled dry.
CHIKARA isn't in the "Pull the Plug it's doomed" territory yet, but the kinks CHIKARA has always kinda had, are much more noticeable than they were a few years back, especially with the advent of the surging NXT product and EVOLVE basically becoming a scouting pool for that.
Yeah it gets kinda hard to do the year long story arcs when people that are meant to be major participants leave. Like Claudio in the Grand Championship. I don't think we're ever going to see a Chris Hero vs. Quack style story (and like EVERYTHING that followed that) in Chikara play out again in full.

Unless he gets someone who is chock full of talent and loyalty again like Hallowicked and Fire Ant I highly doubt it, I don't even know how Hallowicked has avoided the WWE Radar considering he's been used in match footage for people in NXT... and the dude can work like every style. I get he's been Hallowicked his whole career, kinda the same thing with Fire Ant, but hey, you could always try and sell WWE on the idea of the masks, it's merch, which they like...
You can't tell me Ophidian Masks in WWE wouldn't sell like a damn hotcake...

It's more my frustration with the laziness of updating a roster page. I was just able to do the coding changes needed to take all the people who are gone out of the roster page in literally 2 minutes. It's almost like Quackenbush doesn't want to remove guys just so he doesn't have to answer where they went or why they left.

I think the fact that Fire Ant is secretly a horrible alcoholic is the reason WWE hasn't gone after him.

See... if they aren't doing the UK this year and instead are gonna do 1 show, 1 place all around the US then do they remove someone who could easily pop up on one of those shows? Sure they wont be full time but they could always show up... flip side I mean they should probably be moved to alumni in that case, but still...

I don't think we're ever going to see a Chris Hero vs. Quack style story (and like EVERYTHING that followed that) in Chikara play out again in full. Maybe if he uses recent debuted trainees that arent in any major company radar Here's the thing, recently debuted trainees will never be on a companies radar, but if they grow and impress in the ring then they will be, that's where the Loyalty part plays in, and Quack does not have a solid reputation in terms of keeping people around with his attitude unless they were close to day oners or early stages where he basically made their careers and there wasn't much if any developmental televised for WWE at the time. Which is why you see a lot of talent come and go these days aside from like Icarus, Hallowicked, Mantis, Fire Ant, etc. They have deep rooted loyalty in CHIKARA, and for some like Mantis sadly, will never get a WWE Shot (Even though he should and very well could immediately get over)
For example, Silver Ant is on WWE's radar, would he have been in 2010? Hell no. Do I expect him to be in CHIKARA in two years? I honestly don't with his talent. That's just how it's getting with CHIKARA. I could rattle off other names too. Would anyone expect someone like Jakob to have WWE level talent as a character? I do now. And I don't even know if he's still in CHIKARA, which again, draws right back to dropped storylines and the inability to keep people anymore for one reason or another...
And if you want another reason they're probably leaving? They knew they were a part of a product that had eyes on it constantly, they had career moments, were in really good storylines that people were paying attention to and were in sold out venues with big name stars and overall were making a career for themselves getting great exposure in CHIKARA and beyond given their booking tours.
Now? they're running 80% of their shows in one place, which is a tiny box of a room, people are leaving, they don't have cohesive storylines that stick anymore, and less eyes are watching because of CHIKARA going to their own streaming service, live streaming becoming very rare, and the fact they closed up shop for a year for a storyline that didn't amount to the hype. And with greener pastures opening up in WWE's developmental and just Indies in general, CHIKARA's had a hard time adapting just in a few short years.
So yeah, it's not as simple as developmental guys coming in and replacing stars, there are a lot of factors to me that are contributing to CHIKARA's decline post-shutdown angle.

Well, the reason why they run so many shows at the factory is obvious because it's cheaper.
About the roster, yes i miss the old times where chikara was always booking outsiders especially when some of them stick around

I've always heard that Hallowicked stays in Chikara because he has a really great "shoot job" outside of wrestling, so he doesn't really need to do it for the money, hence, he stays in Chikara full time.

I also heard Icarus is a Construction Worker outside of WWE, so there's that.
