Wrestling Is Awesome Debut Show. Opening match actually. Was a great little match too. It sold me more on Cottonbellys ability to work especially in catch and chain wrestling.
Funny enough, I heard Quack was also hurt in this match, I can't remember if it was a neck or leg related injury but maybe the wires were crossed and it was Jervis the whole time. He did a great job for being hindered like that.

I'm still kicking myself for knowing that show happened in my backyard and I didn't know about it until it was underway, and I was at work.

Edit: "Bad Wolf" April 1st 2017 Fern Park, FL Supremacy is up the post credits scene is {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Thunderfrog taking the hammer of peace to the eye of tyr {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler} If he broke the eye of tyr how they will unhex all the hexed guys ? They will simply be realeased from nazmaldun controll with the eye destroyed ?
Also i hope for more explanations about nazmaldun relation with the eye in the future or it will be a really anti climatic enindg {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I think only Mantis was Tyr'd and the eye was what kept Nazmuldun in control of his body. All the others were hexed by regular old evil magic, Kobald seems to be having an existential crisis on twitter so it may be wearing off. So... wait a minute... you were there live, and I'm assuming you have CHIKARAtopia, but you still bought the VOD anyway? Good on ya! Yes, no, yes. I have DSL, so Chikaratopia does not always work real well so not worth the money if its going to buffer every couple of minutes for several minutes at a time. It's why if NPWD is streamed, I hope its on Facebook live, that works fine, I think Chikaratopia does not have enough oomph behind it like say netflix.

{Spoiler}Shouldn't Ophidian have maybe given the Eye to someone so they could turn Hallowicked back into a tecnico before having it destroyed?

So, they set up all freaking season that Kimber is going to kiss Thunderfrog and turn him into an unmasked human wrestler, they know she's leaving, and they DON'T DO IT. They TEASE IT AGAIN, but they don't DO it.
I'm definitely not glass-half-empty with Chikara, but mannnnn that is just classic. Other perplexing booking decisions (like having Smashmaster, who should be next season's big bad, lose) at least feel like they're moving something forward. It's just so maddening that they go to all this effort setting something up that then just dies.
Still, the season's problems actually weren't that: they just never freakin made it clear what Nazmaldun wanted and why he had to be stopped. I think it's likely that Condron was supposed to be more involved and they had to hastily rewrite because of that, and they may get into that with Ultramantis Black next season (and it is a decent way to segue to new feuds while allowing a big new story to start), but they just didn't give us any damn STAKES, and that's just bad writing. Not to mention that the big new drama of the season, "Who's gonna get hexed next??" suffers greatly when it isn't clear who's on the roster.
Still, the season is an overall win for me because in the back half, a lot of the actual wrestling was really good. Hallowicked and Frightmare are both absolutely killing it, Heidi and especially Kimber have just been superstars, KoT had booking problems but phenomenal wrestling with a superb winning team in terms of in-ring ability, and we have loads of veterans who can all have great matches with each other... Angelosetti stands out as especially hot right now. Plus, as tiresome as Wrestling Factory advertisements can be, it's genuinely cool to see people like MAM and the Sea Stars and the hobos and Wani and other rookies improving before our eyes and in lots of cases becoming quite good.

Angelosetti stands out as especially hot right now. It still amazes me that with few exceptions he almost wrestles exclusively for CHIKARA. Also that WWE hasn't so much as sniffed in his direction, it would seem. Trust me, I'm glad, but it's still amazing.

If I had even a small say in what was going on in NXT, I'd sign Angelosetti and strap a rocket to his ass.

I still think it was going to lead to Condron becoming the reluctant savior of Chikara, and it be literally "Kid Cyclone vs. The Devil".

so what happens if one of the Campeones wins the WWE UK Title? Not too much... Chikara's friendly and until they start taping a show it's fair game... then it's still open but it'd be tight getting around a weekly tapings slot.

The WWE UK series wouldn't be taped weekly, be more like NXT where they tape a month or so at a time. WWE is looking at 30 dates in the UK, including the main roster who have probably 14 dates, so that leaves once a month plus the potential of a couple specials.

so what happens if one of the Campeones wins the WWE UK Title? It'll be unified with the CdP, of course.

I will say it's a step up for CHIKARA this year to be getting out there again. Last season was way too sheltered in its own territory and it was one of the things that really hurt them. Need to travel and get more eyes on the product especially because you have so many new names.
Assuming Eleventh Hour will be at The Arena as well, would be nice to see them run more shows there again.
