Hey, Villasenor in a sketch! Pete Davidson, too!

Hey, it's over!
This episode was a blast. And, while they leaned on the politics maybe a little too much, I still think this has been the best season since we've started doing threads for the show (admittedly, we only started with season 40, but whatever).
SEE YOU IN THE FALL EVERYBODY (except Vanessa and Bobby)!

Cut off as Scarlett started jumping... boo!
At least now I get to see the Jim Carrey episode!

The Rock hosting always makes for a fun time and this was no exception. And I loved Tom Hanks and ScarJo's guest appearances.

"How do you even make a child molesting robot?"
"Well, you make a regular robot and you molest it. Then you hope the cycle continues."
Also Sasheer Zamata is done.

That's a shame that Sasheer Zamata is done. I figured Bobby and Vanessa were only a matter of time since they've been there forever.

So is Kenan staying for next season? I could see them keeping him on just so he can break the record for longest-tenured cast member (he currently shares the record with Darell Hammond).

He's been on my TV for like 25 years at this point.

I'm glad to hear that Kenan is sort of like the cast's big brother in terms of being supportive and reassuring of everyone.
I remember when I first saw him on All That on Nickelodeon. And then Good Burger and the Kenan & Kel Show.
Sad that Sasheer is leaving already. I hope she goes on to a good post-SNL career.

I've seen his work outside SNL and it's not that great. Nothing against the guy, but SNL seems like the only place that would hire him. I never cared much for his work there (outside of a few skits here and there) and thought that he was wasting his time with boring and juvenile sketches like he was still on All That.

Tonight, 9 PM Eastern, they're premiering Weekend Update: Summer Edition. Thought I'd revive this thread for that.

I can only imagine the stuff they'll do this season. The Trump White House is a comedy goldmine. It's like every president they've lampooned times a trillion.

I know Kenan rules, but his LaVar Ball is lacking. Though let's be frank, the best at the LaVar Ball character is LaVar Ball himself.

As long as they don't overdo it, which is a problem I had in the last season. There's a variety of things to do sketches about. Sometimes you just don't want to talk politics.
