So Sabrina Carpenter she is a ex child star who didn't work for the devil (by devil I mean the guy with the initials DS), still seemed like she is free of some childhood repression. She has come a long way from Sofia the First.

So.....how's everybody doing?
Thought I'd bump up this ol' thread so we can get hyped. SNL's 50th season starts on Sept. 28th. We know there's plans for a 50th Anniversary Special in February. Maya Rudolph is going to be coming back and playing a newsworthy person. And earlier today, Punkie Johnson announced she is leaving the show after 4 seasons.
Anybody feel like speculating about anything? Hosts/musical guests? Recurring characters being brought back? Whether or not Lorne will retire after this season? Give it a go!

I just hope they keep the same actor (James Austin Johnson) who currently plays a WWE Hall of Famer, as he OWNS that role. |

I can't imagine Maya would stick around the entire season. Maybe just til like Christmas and then, should it be necessary, they can recast after that. At least she's former SNL.

Hate to stunt cast, but I just watched some clips of Tim Walz and Jason Sudeikis would absolutely crush it. Jason would be good, but maybe with it being season 50, maybe Dan Aykroyd would be up to doing it to go back to a original cast member being part of the show for its 50th would be pretty cool to see. |
