Yeah, I don't know why, the David Pumpkins sketch was Mad TV tier, yet it still really did something for me.

Beck Bennett really made the David S. Pumpkins sketch for me. "I'm so in the weeds on David Pumpkins!" I loved it. No idea why, but I did. And I loved Kevin Roberts, so it makes sense that I would like this. David S. Pumpkins?! He has a middle initial now?! And I think Keenan explained it best...it's a hundred floors of fright. They're not all going to be winners. I still think it's just the fact that it's Tom Hanks being goofy as hell and that music was perfectly dumb. |
