I'm actually pretty surprised that out of everyone, there's only one person who I maybe dislike at the moment (Paul).
Hopefully things will liven up if/when the tribes swap, because I can already tell I'm gonna get bored of the direct-from-central-casting type of confessionals that we can already hear in these.

Millennials,Gen X, either way the baby boomers will screw them. I'm waiting for CBS execs or Jeff Probst to be like "I'm the real winner here!" and take the prize money for themselves. It would be the perfect allegory for the angst between the generations.

There's a Bootlist Game and a Prop Hunt Game going around on YouTube, where winners get Survivor Buffs if anyone is interested

The cast bios on CBS.com sound like they were written by the same person who writes the scripts for DR sessions on Big Brother.

Here's my only hope... starting with Worlds Apart it seems like Survivor went into darker territory if this makes sense. I hope with all the out loud characters, we can get a fun season like Gabon or Philippines

I hope all the Millenials end up quitting after they go without their facebook and internet connections for the first week! But in reality $1M is great motivation to suck it up and actually work for something for the first time in your sheltered life...
yeah, I'm so pro Gen-X it's long stopped being funny!

I am sure the season will be fine but what a stupid theme. It's just gonna be silly seeing like a 35 year old call some 28 year old a punk kid like when Ziggler had his feud with Tyler Breeze.

My campus TV either doesn't carry CBS or chooses not to show it, which means I'm gonna have to hope CBS.com has gotten a bit better about spoilers if I don't want to wait three days to watch.

I hope they don't push the theme too much past the first episode, because just the bios and interviews alone made me sick of hearing "we didn't get participation medals in my day!"
I'm going to wait until after the first episode to start thinking about winners and favorites. I gotta say Zeke certainly strikes me as the most interesting though.

The "participation medal" thing is my favourite anti-millennial talking point. What's dumber: Getting a participation medal or being the assholes who gave them out?

The kids weren't making the medals themselves and I'm certain the kids weren't deciding who got medals.

First seven minutes up...
It's a case of Jeff pushing the theme, but the cast seems to be taking it as whatever, so I have hope
