Ambrose has backstage heat due to the podcast (WON)

WWE Champion Dean Ambrose picked up some backstage heat from his recent "Stone Cold Podcast" with Steve Austin on the WWE Network, according to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The heat didn't come from any of Ambrose's answers, avoiding questions or for any of the awkward moments during the interview, but because he was being negative on creative and being negative on creative means being negative on Triple H and Vince McMahon.

Officials also were not happy about Ambrose publicly talking about how Brock Lesnar didn't want to do anything for their match at WrestleMania 32.

Here we go ladies and gentlemen. If he loses to Ziggler? Great for Ziggler. If he doesn't and loses to someone else? Great for them. Ziggler, Styles, Wyatt, any one of them could have a come up.

This is the real test on if Ambrose is really a Golden Boy and if they trust him.

The Austin podcast has become so pathetic now. Like how they wouldn't let Big Show drink a beer without hiding under a towel, yet sitting opposite him is a man who has built a character partly out of drinking beer, videos of which are all over the network. Surprised that I never heard of any heat on Show afterwards because he said he'd been booked like shit ever since he jumped from WCW.
If you're going to do a podcast where people can't say what they want, then script them. And then cancel the show immediately.

Dean gets his moment because Roman fell out of favor, Ziggler gets his moment because Dean falls out of favor, El Dandy gets his moment etc it's the circle of wrasslin'

That said, I do hope Dean doesn't get de-pushed, and he deserves a good title reign. But I'd also mark out if Ziggler won to be honest

The thing is Lesnar isn't even half as valuable as they want him to be.

The biggest problem has is being publically traded. Investors don't like surprises. When your face goes on your own network and says creative sucks, not very good for stocks.

Remember when that guy, who's name we won't say, fake bought Raw and the stock took a tumble? So they ditched the storyline the next week?

Yeah I agree that if Ambrose gets depushed I'm going to be pretty bummed. We've seen guys knock creative repeatedly. With that said, I wonder what would happen to Ambrose's popularity if they took the belt off of him because of this. These days fans are smart, they'll know why Ambrose lost the belt. If anything, he might be cheered more because they'd be depushing him. Either way, this isn't his fault honestly. I mean he said what he said.

And yeah the Stone Cold Podcast is watered down especially compared to the Steve Austin Podcast. Guys can let loose there. Here? It's a different story entirely.

I didn't know those where two different things. I just thought The Stone Cold Podcast were just "special episodes" of the Steve Austin Podcast.
