What a terrible Pay Per View

Kicking out of finishers left and right, horrible match storytelling, and overall some of the worst or nonsensical finishes for matches this year.

Where Backlash started off Smackdowns PPVs right, Clash proved that they are just like RAW, swimming in the shit of their own ass backwards booking.

Thank you for not being this, Smackdown, you give us hope...

Here's something to think about: Backlash happened 2 weeks ago and Raw still couldn't find a way to beat that.

I'm honestly to the point I only watch the PPV's and have been doing that for quite a long time. I think that is why I have a higher tolerance for the shows. Like I honestly didn't think this was to bad but I didn't have to sit through all the Raw buildups.

All in all PPV wasn't bad. F** finishes all around and some stupid ones (New Day retaining).

Sheamus and Cesaro was better than expected but gets bumped down for finish.

Woman had a good match albeit sloppy like usual but the right person came out on top

The match quality was generally great tonight but when you book the majority of your finishes the way they did tonight everything feels pointless.

Glad Owens is still the champ. Off a ref bump and Jericho makes just as much sense as Hunter getting involved.



Clash of Champions was great! Just a hair behind Backlash, but still good. The crazy finishes even build up to other matches that can be used. Yeah I'm going to be in the minority on this one but oh well. This PPV rocks!

I felt nothing from any of those matches, they may have been technically good but I couldn't notice if they were or not because of how hollow the Raw part of this company is at the moment except from a handful of little brightspots when they can shine. Certainly going to be in my lower end of WWE PPVs this year, especially when you considering how fresh Backlash is to people when there is only 2 WEEKS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM
