F*** you for making me remember that. HHH and Kevin Nash. Scott Steiner and Test. Jesus Bischoff and Austin - redneck triathlon. Worse than anything on the show tonight. A burping contest, pie eating, and some hog pen bullshit. That PPV deserves its own thread

20 minutes to spare for Backlash 7 minutes over for Clash Of Champions Smackdown even does that better.

Up until the interference, I was REALLY into Rollins vs. Owens. It felt like they had finally figured out how to do a world title match and to make it effective... then Jericho interfered... then everything turned to shit... and RAW's still the entertainment show. All this talent... wasted to dramatic storylines.
I mean, I'll be fair.... I wouldn't have minded a Jericho interference, distract Rollins, Owens powerbomb win. But when Jericho basically hangs out, then starts fighting Rollins for ten minutes.... it goes from shocking interference, to padding out the conclusion to the point where it's tough to care at all.

Because that doesn't fit the narrative they telling where babyface Rollins is dealing with the same shit he's done to other people while he was champ? Nah...too logical. Even if him getting hit with the belt after a brief distraction would be literally the exact same narrative without this long drawn out sequence that was pretty sloppy in execution? Jeez, what is up with people on this board being a condescending dillhole? Enough. Because Rollins had his lackeys helping him out at every turn and now he's on the OTHER side of it?

I honestly think I need to take a break from Raw, I'll probably tune in for the Cruiserweight stuff and if I hear anything cool happening I'll check it out but I don't know if it's just a general overkill due to how much product is being put out but I just can't bother putting up with a subpar product when the same company is giving me something 10x better on Tuesdays.

"WEEEEEE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" hahahaha, holy f*** I love Jericho Jericho should be going around talking shit because they are the World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho is a Venom symbiote now?

3 things that piss me off after reading the results:
New Day retains. Why?
Cesaro/Sheamus Best of 7 finale ends in draw. WHY?!
Jericho beats Sami. WHY?!!!?!!!!!?!?!

People didn't want Hunter to be involved though. He already IS involved. this isn't him inserting himself into a storyline, this would be him continuing the storyline as the storyline running is literally why did HHH attack Seth. him showing up would move it forward instead of what we have with he did it... I dunno... reasons. I meant the match tonight. Some people didn't want Hunter involved with Owens win in the first place. I'm not one of them but considering his friendship with Jericho having an assist from him and winning off the ref being out works out. Just because Hunter was there on Raw doesn't meant he needs to be out there every step of the way. Owens can get his own wins or have his ally help him in the meantime. This likely isn't it with his feud with Seth.

I felt nothing from any of those matches, they may have been technically good but I couldn't notice if they were or not because of how hollow the Raw part of this company is at the moment except from a handful of little brightspots when they can shine. Certainly going to be in my lower end of WWE PPVs this year, especially when you considering how fresh Backlash is to people when there is only 2 WEEKS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM Yeah I don't think the show was really bad it's just that Raw doesn't have any good storylines right now. Good matches aren't enough for me, they really need to tighten their stories up.

Wait, did we want Triple H to run in or not? The impression I got was that we didn't want to run in, now I'm seeing a lot of posts disappointed that he didn't.

So, I learned something. I was posting and watching both from my laptop, because I just couldn't get WWE Network to work on my TV like usual. I enjoyed myself immensely more when I was just watching instead of watching and trying to follow the thread.
So... Yeah, I'm not going to miss being in the thread when I'm at Hell In The Cell next month.

Good matches aren't enough for me, they really need to tighten their stories up. RAW's got absolutely no momentum. They've had a rough succession of shows that many haven't gotten into and, even though I enjoyed the PPV tonight and don't buy in to a lot of the melodramatic reactions and judgments, it's not enough at the moment to get the needed momentum to put it on par with SmackDown.

People are hating them because a number of them have gone a long while. I think there is good left in some of them but even I don't think its a good idea for Raw to keep throwing people at each other for three months straight every time. Of course, the problem the other way is you run the risk of having everyone feuded with everyone so what can they really do?
