I hope this doesn't degenerate into Scott Steiner videos and Samoa Joe / Kevin Owens jokes because it is a genuine question on a genuine issue - Should WWE promote Nia Jax's looks? I ask this because I feel, facially, Nia Jax is prettier and more beautiful than maybe any other in ring performer in the women's division outside Becky Lynch. While I am sure they focus on her face to avoid highlighting her body, I do feel the fact her eyes are singled out specifically is because, god damn, they are striking. This also ties into an overall issue with WWE and women generally. They've done better the past 18 months than maybe ever before in presenting women as "lass kickers" to be taken seriously but Nix just presents an issue for them. She more than covers the ass kicking but could WWE really present a "BBW" role model and sex symbol? I am not sure I'd trust them with that, despite the whole larger lady thing having a sizeable audience as it is. For other signs Nia is maybe undersold for appearance, here is a pic of her as a model before the "Samoan genes" kicked in and one of her with family:

As a BBW myself I would love this...but wwe did the whole piggy James thing so I don't trust them with it at all.

Should we promote every poster on here's looks? We should so we can gripe about how our posts are ignored because we're pretty/ugly, and not because of stupid content.

I am talking about how they promote every other woman as this beauty who can also fight and do all these photo shoots and calendars, etc. I am not saying have Nia skip out in a bikini type thing. Just because she is heavier doesn't mean she doesn't hold the same appeal. I feel I've not worded this thread correctly already...

I don't know
Unless is a big part of the character gimmick, seems irrelevant.

No. Just focus on her butt-kicking. I kind of wish they'd do that for everyone in the women's division, but I know that's not going to happen. I should just be thankful Lawler isn't calling every match.

I haven't noticed them promoting any of the women's looks much anymore. Other than like Lana or Eva, where being hot is like part of their character.

Whenever she comes out to the ring, have some guy come out on the stage (like one of the Cruiserweights or some random local talent) and get a close up shot of him making the DAT ASS face (the words "DAT ASS" being put on the usual RAW name plate graphic). Once this is established, subvert if by having someone like Sheamus or Noam Dar taking a peek and then have the graphic say "DAT ARSE".
EDIT: Also, have Corey Graves completely fawning over Nia and expressing hilarious disdain for "skinny bitches".

I wish they wouldn't put her in that awful ring gear. I've seen her in a t shirt and workout pants and it's much more flattering than that abomination she is forced to wrestle in. She's gorgeous and I'd like to see her get some promo time. I love her annoyed soccer mom heel persona.

Yes, she is incredibly attractive to me and I don't see the reason why she shouldn't be marketed towards guys that think she's hot.
I can't think of a single diva that I find physically attractive besides Nia, Becky or Dana, but it doesn't mean I can't appreciate their work. I'm not asking WWE to force people to change their perception of beauty, but for them to at least acknowledge that some guys like girls with a higher body fat percentage.
This dated notion that a girl has to be thin to be beautiful is insane. People still watch Miss Universe for goodness sakes!!
Anyway, this is something that irks me a bit because people say I just date bigger chicks cause their easier when I have actually rejected skinny women. I just think if we normalize the fact that there isn't a standard of beauty due to peoples differing preferences then we can see a variety of different talent. I'm sure there are plenty of talented women that are being passed by or not bothering to apply to WWE because they don't meet a silly criteria. You have people like Eva Marie that lack the basic requirements of a pro wrestler but it pushed to the moon because of how she looks. Its ridiculous..

Anyway, the goal should really be that WWE just doesn't make looks/sex appeal a factor in presenting its talent unless said looks are a factor in their gimmick (e.g. Tyler Breeze among the guys, Eva Marie among the women). If John Cena and Seth Rollins aren't going to pose for sexy swimsuit photoshoots or some such thing, then why bring it up at all for the women? There's the quick answer of "well, most of our audience is made up of straight men, so it's advantageous to us", but a smart long term goal is to at least maintain your male audience while also growing your female audience, and telling them "these women are here as competitors first and foremost" is a way to start building that bridge to be stronger.
Which isn't to say that sex appeal must be completely clamped down on, but it's just a matter of WWE having lots of male talent in tights who aren't presented in any sexualized manner, so the situation should be equitable for the women. They've definitely come miles ahead of where they were just a few short years ago, so hopefully the trend will continue.
So yeah, Nia Jax is a good looking woman, but if sex appeal isn't part of her gimmick, then there's no need to dive into it, same as it is for any of the male characters who also don't have sex appeal as a major part of their gimmick.

She's been insinuating Dana is a pig throughout the entire feud. Her impression of Dana involves pulling up her nose to look more like a pig's snout. I love Sasha, but people have been letting her get away with some shit. As far as this... No strong opinion I guess. Nia is certainly beautiful and it's great if they mention her as being a babe along with the rest of the women. But I don't really need them singling her out like "Nia's a large woman but look how pretty she is!"

When she first came out on NXT, I did not find her to be "amazon" or "big"....rather, she is damn beautiful.
But with how WWE has portrayed "bigger" women since the Attitude era, they try to make certain female athletes "ugly" due to a certain part of their appearance (IE: Piggy James, Lawler's fat jokes towards Vickie, Molly's posterior, etc.), when in reality, many are just as good looking (if not more so) than the others they deem to be hot.

I guess to be Devil's Advocate - they are likely friends and Sasha wouldn't mind if Dana would respond with how Sasha is virtually skin and bone these days. Still not a nice angle for people watching though - especially from the supposed top face.
