I got a PS4 recently and this service is exactly what I was looking for instead of signing up for cable or satellite. And you don't even need a Playstation to run it, as many people run it on Fire TV or Roku. They just added NFL Network today, which is big. I can't imagine a cable company letting me get all this for $35/month. But there's very little mention of it anywhere. Why isn't this streaming service a bigger deal?

It didn't run very smoothly for me, and I'd ultimately just be getting it for RAW and Smackdown anyway so it just wasn't worth it.

I'd imagine SlingTV has gotten most of the love for that since it has been doing the same but for longer

I'd imagine SlingTV has gotten most of the love for that since it has been doing the same but for longer They were first to market, I will give them that. But I get more channels for less money on Vue, 5 streams per household, and Cloud DVR. Sony is, IMO, very, very quietly blowing away most legal streaming options.

Sony have tried this on the down low and it does seem to be picking up some word of mouth in the past month or so as I've seen a few people mention how they have moved to Vue. The luck with this is they should have most bugs in the system ironed out if they get a big influx instead of everyone running and it struggling.

I've been looking into it. Sling lets you choose ESPN or the Fox Sports channels. I want both. Vue has that option.

The main reason I wanted a service was to watch sports. 95% of St. Louis teams play on FSN Midwest, but I also wanted the ESPN channels. For Sling, that's the $40 plan. But on Vue, I get those, ESPNU, SEC Network, Big Ten Network, and the ability to DVR all those baseball, hockey, and CFB games. For $35.
