It's just worded weirdly too. They say they're abandoning comic stores. So like, does that mean LCS are going to be banned from selling the OGNs? Seems a bit silly to me. I honestly don’t think it’ll be that harsh but that’s just me. Like BC has a tendency to sensationalize stuff so it’s probably not that bad. Yeah I mean I can't speak for every city but a lions share of graphic novel/TPB sales in my little burg come from the comic store. They may stop selling floppies but it would be asinine to cut off one of their largest sales platforms entirely.

Same here, we have three comic book stores in the city that sell graphic novels alone along with a couple of book stores so it’s be very cut the nose to spite the face.

They've already abandoned the newsstands, this step was and is sadly inevitable. It's just worded weirdly too. They say they're abandoning comic stores. So like, does that mean LCS are going to be banned from selling the OGNs? Seems a bit silly to me. Well signs are starting to appear, if you can believe it, that could lead it all down that slippery slope. This new distribution plan has been very uneven - already been dumped by 1 of their new vendors. The few newsstands I know of aren't getting any new DC books anymore. Some retailers have already stopped ordering new DC comics entirely, and I think the idea of a lot more "back issue" LCS's being out there has begun.... ....and if those old retail relationships ending pile up, DC may have justification to give it all up. Meanwhile, digital product is on the rise. And I'm sure folks like Amazon would eat up doing more graphic novel business as that whole business (on the whole, not just DC) is huge and still growing. Basically, ruin how they do business so this new way of doing business ends up looking like the only attractive avenue to do business.

Peter waking up in his bed and coming down the stairs is a DIRECT steal from One More Day's ending

The last two weeks have been very good to comic book redheads, Hawkman concluded with Carter and Shayria living happily ever after also
As for whether the marriage comes back or not for Peter and MJ...frankly, I'm not fussed. My desire to see One More Day finally acknowledged and addressed by the characters overrides my desire to see them back together in that way, at least for now, as it has the potential to drag that out another few years all the way to issue 900 or issue 1000. Ideally, I'd like them to re-marry in issue 900 and have a kid in 1000.
I can afford to wait, you'd think my paitence would have run out years ago, but the big note of comfort for me is that, after all this time, the marriage has sort of never really went anywhere at Marvel. If you read the ASM newspaper strip, or what was left of Spider-Girl at the time, or the shorter-lived Renew Your Vows series, you can find them still married and living a happy life. A whole decade this ridiculous mandate has been in place and it doesn't feel at all like it ever had a chance to really make any sort of impact. What was the point of it if you were never going to really commit to it across the board?

Just finished Death Metal #5 and I’m going in fresh because I didn’t read the spoilers like a heathen! {Spoiler} So...I think I get the approach here? Sort of a main universe version of what happened with Convergence which was a cool thing to happen even if the book was eh.
Also the other big thing being that Batman died after the first Perpetua battle, hence his use of the Black Lantern ring and Superman can’t have his form undone so this does feel like a “last” battle of sorts.
In terms of set up, as a result of destabilizing Earth Prime, The Darkest Knight sent in more dark multiverse versions to fight what essentially would be all heroes and villains, dead or alive, in one big dumb Smackdown that I’m all down for.
It’s obvious leading into the next two tie ins, Last Stories and Multiverse Who Laughs and I’m looking forward to reading those. Not a fave issue, not sure if it quite fully explained itself but not a bad one either.

Nightwing#76 I know Jurgens isn't a favourite with the Nightwing fanbase presently, but he's done a good job of undoing the Ric mess I feel ...And, oh Dick...that certainly went well[/sarcasm] {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Oh hey, it wasn't a bad issue at all. Nice to be wrong.
...And, oh Dick...that certainly went well[/sarcasm]
Dick soundly defeats KGBeast and ties him up for the police, then he and Bea take a little stroll. Bea feels like she's seeing Dick more clearly for the first time, that he is much different as Nightwing, that what he does is a calling. She's ready to be happy with him, but Dick. wanting to keep her from harm, decides to forsake his feelings and tells her that while the memories of his time with Bea remain, his feelings don't. He doesn't love her, Babs' instincts about the two were spot-on. Dick tries to salvage the situation by saying they should...remain friends. Bea, absolutely heartbroken, is furious at Dick for even suggesting this and says she never wants to see him again before departing. Dick sheds a few tears before heading back on to the streets to patrol.

If you weren’t a fan of Chuck Austin’s X-Men run after Grant Morrison left the book, so wasn’t Megan thee Stallion.
She said in her big GQ interview that she hated his run and “He ruined Nightcrawler by making his father literally the Devil. I mean, what?!”
I haven’t heard her music much but I have respected Megan for being both one of the biggest stars in the world but also one of the biggest weebs.
