Amazing Spider-Man#70 {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Lizard and Curt are split in two by Octavius, Peter tries to track down Ock and his crew but has no luck. He suspects Kindred's hand in this
Mary Jane continues her investigation into Carlie's disappearance. She talks to Jarvis at Avengers Mansion as well as Carlie's friends and landlord, so far she's found no trace of her.
Carlie in the meantime is having a chat with BND era Harry, he says he went to Europe to investigate some transactions coming from dormant Oscorp accounts, Harry's investigation leads him to one of his dad's 'real estate holdings with a troubled history all it's own', and it looks very much like the building Sarah and Gabe from Sins Past were raised in!
Arriving there, Harry is captured by Kindred. He's been a prisoner for months.
The body Carlie identified in the morgue was Harry Osborn...so who is the person she's talking to right now? She decides to keep this to herself for now
Boomerang returns as Overdrive recruits him and his fellow Lethal Foes at the Bar with no name
All of the factions of Spencer's run are being steadily assembled, the time is approaching for a more 'sinister' truth to be revealed
Kindred unveils the sixth member of Ock's team: Mysterio Immortal Hulk in a nutshell this week {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}"Um, Betty, I love you, I'm trying to be a good person, BTW I left the love of your life in hell, do you think I'm a good person now? Betty? You still there? Oh, might as well get Bruce back then" Definitely a cool down issue for Hulk. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I'm a little disappointed the run is seemingly ending with another 'one step forward, two steps back' route for Betty and Bruce/Hulk. Al's done more to strengthen her relations with every other aspect of him except the man himself, even if she still loves that side but has difficulty showing it. I miss the days where their relationship was steady. Sometimes I really wish they'd never brought Betty back at all after PAD killed her, and let's face it, he only did that because his wife divorced him. I still think Betty came back 'wrong'.
Much as I appreciate what Immortal Hulk has done with the franchise, and it's very good, I haven't been able to really get behind the characters much, I think Ewing spends way too much time on how miserable everyone is. Some people will tell me 'well that's the point', but I would not mind a lighter, simpler run

Tom King and what looks like Greg Smallwood doing Justice League International? I'm in! I think I see Blue Beetle, Fire, and Rocket Red. Turns out it's this;

King loves this random D list DC characters.
After this, can we get a King Faraday mini series?

When was the last time Human Target was relevant? When he had the show on Fox? Probably. though then again it was like Blade and Men In Black where people didn't realize it was a comic book >_>

Well this sucks. Learned today the good comic shop has closed. All cause the owner didn't want to cheat his customers and charge high prices on some stuff.

Infinite Frontier#2 {Spoiler}Captain Atom is back, but he's an alternate reality double who nukes the military base he's stationed on
Thomas Wayne's 'Flashpoint' Batman is the same one that took over Gotham at the close of Tom King's run, but he regrets all of that now and blames his crimes on a temporary mental breakdown brought on by losing his home reality

Flash Annual 2021 (let's deal one last hand to Heroes In Crisis this week) {Spoiler}It's revealed the massacre at Sanctuary wasn't Wally's fault, it was the speed force creating surge explosions to rid itself of an intruding Savitar, who was responsible for all the temporal problems, trying to establish himself as the sole speedster. With Roy's help, Wally is able to take Savitar back with him to the present, but has to still let everyone at Sanctuary, including Roy, die so they don't create another Flashpoint.
Back in the present, and given his original costume by Barry, Wally defeats Savitar, and at the same time acquires A 'surge force' ability

Thomas Wayne's 'Flashpoint' Batman is the same one that took over Gotham at the close of Tom King's run, but he regrets all of that now and blames his crimes on a temporary mental breakdown brought on by losing his home reality {Spoiler} Also interestingly, Thomas Wayne and President Superman encounter Magog, the antagonist from Kingdom Come (Earth 22) who ended up not reforming as the original story went so it sets up that other characters on other Earths might have changed or at least doing Darkseid's bidding, as demonstrated with Roy Harper and the aforementioned Captain Atom.

Got in a read the TPB of Garth Ennis Punisher Born today.
Holy hell that was a great story. Takes a special kind of writer to understand and make Punisher work. And Ennis is the perfect writer for Frank.
And the art... simply beautiful.

I'm glad the series exists just for the the Gnarrk sections of issue #6 alone. I could take or leave the rest, even though the premise of HIC initially sounded good. Regardless, I'd rather see Bart Allen (created in 1994) as the modern-day, permanent Flash than either Barry (created in 1956) or Wally (created in 1959, became the Flash in 1986). To me, all the noise about Wally over the past 10-15 years has become walla.

Spider-Man: Sinister War {Spoiler}Sinister War#1
We learn only one whole month has passed since the events of ASM#29. Peter was going to propose to Mary Jane after her film premiere, but the Sinister and Savage gate-crashing put paid to that. Peter finds out about Mysterio and MJ's partnership, MJ gives Peter a burn about working with reformed villains. Peter is confused as to how Doc Ock is back in his old form, and we're reminded of the former Superior Spider-Man's connections to Mephisto. Mysterio tries to tell Peter and MJ what he knows about their deal with the devil, but Spidey dives back into battling the teams.
Ock offers Mysterio a chance to join him, in return, he asks MJ be surrendered to him. Mysterio reluctantly takes MJ with him, and Peter is transported to Kindred's lair, where the remainder of the five six member teams are unleashed on him
Meanwhile, Doctor Strange and Mephisto have a discussion about Peter's soul and the deal he made, Strange argues Peter would never bargain with a devil and demands he undo what he has done. Mephisto tells him extreme circumstances necessitated Peter to make the deal and that his hands are tied, but he's not opposed to playing a game of chance, he and Strange approach a table, Mephisto offers Strange a chance to play...pick a colour, red or black, and asks if he's feeling lucky?
