Meltzer and Alvarez were talking about this the other day and they kept wondering how do TNA make money? Sure Dixie probably secured the fund from Daddy to keep it going and they are paying the talent but how does the company itself get money to make a profit. Pop is not paying them. They owe money to many people.

They owe money to many people. That's just it, TNA doesn't make money. The Talent barely gets paid. They receive and they don't give, they're a black hole that for some reason, people find the need to throw money into when they don't ever reward people in return.
The only mentality I can think of is some people don't want the legacy of TNA to die, but at this point, that legacy has been taken behind the barn and shot several dozen times. This company is NOTHING like it was when it was getting the most exposure for being the Alternative Brand. When they have something, they screw it up, or it wasn't even their idea (Like Broken Matt was just the Hardy's doing their own thing), and they have to hide behind tweets and false statements and "WE'RE DOING FINE PAY US" statements that cover up the fact they aren't ok, and never will be ok again.
Giving TNA funds, is like keeping your prized Squash from years ago, and still bragging about it. Sure, at one time, it was something to tout and be proud of, but now, it's an old, shriveled, rotten husk of what it used to be, and yet you still water and tend to it and act like nothing is wrong. TNA is a rotten vegetable that should be thrown into the trash, but some crazy person just won't allow it to happen because they can't let go of the damn thing, no matter how much it hurts, how embarrassing it is, or how bad you look doing it and or defending it...

Yeah, TNA runs no house shows, can not charge gate for the TV Tapings at the impact zone, get no buys on their PPVs as they have continually burned it into their audiences brain that they DO NOT MATTER,
and seemingly the only money they do get is from their international TV deals which has been stated hundreds of times is not enough to keep them afloat.
TNA is entirely dependent on someone floating them money to run their tapings.

I wish Corgan and the talent would have met together and take a stand saying even though the funds are there for the tapings, we're not going, we don't show up until she has sold the company. Of course for the talent you don't get paid and you may be losing your job. But this could be something lasting only a week to force her. It's a situation where she could be sued by Pop and her partners for it and she would have no choice to sell it in fear to be even more in a hole while Corgan would stay in contact with her. But the question is, even if Corgan would buy TNA, if they do not make money now, how would he keep it going and generate revenues himself?

I love that their official eBay store has WWE listed in the titles of some of their items. TNA doing keyword spam on eBay, gotta love that from the "number 2" promotion in the United States.

I'm just going to pretend that TNA sold 35 million plastic Eric Young Beards and that's keeping the company afloat for the next decade.

One of the minority owners admits the company is on the verge of collapse and is actively looking for investors, talent are kept in the dark over whether they'll even have a job in 24 hours, and this airhead is surprised that they're worried about it?
Nooo, why would they be, Dixie?

I'm gonna be honest, at this point TNA's kickouts are so amazing I think Brock Lesnar couldn't keep them down for the 3 count.

TNA are in a constant state of waiting for money they're owed to come in so they can then turn around and pay every cent of it to people they owe money to, only it's never enough. They're a hand to mouth promotion with no clear way out of the situation, the product of a good decade of incompetence on the business side.

Also...who on dog's green earth OWES them money?!
Further...don't they still have the contractually obligated India tapings/tour to do?

So wwe wanted to buy them but Dixie wouldn't let it happen.... The moron would rather kill the company than have someone else run it.
Also I'm curious about the power struggle between the other owners, I thought that they were ok working with each other but that they wanted Dixie out.
Only Dixie Carter can be less sympathetic than Neo Nazis (Harris brothers)

The funny thing about the tape library is it'd probably get a lot more attention in WWE's hands. Yeah, the company would die as a result, but I'd personally love to watch older TNA stuff on WWE Network.

Most likely their international tv partners and maybe the ppv companies. Wouldn't be shocked if they were getting the same treatment ECW got at the end where the people that owe them money with hold it, expecting them to fold and then pay pennies on the dollar if anything.

Just because you go through this shit every month don't mean people can't be mad about it.

They still haven't done the tour of India they owe SonySix. So either TNA finds yet another dupe or bank to float them another loan, or SonySix can just rip up the contract if they so feel like it.
It's clear Ditzy's ego won't let her go of the thing. Just as well, no one in their right minds would want the thing given the shape it's in.

A couple of things. First none of the respected dirtsheet sites got any info about the talent meeting but PWInsider got exclusive info? Yep, this is the official TNA spin of the story approved by Ryder and sent in by Borash. Second, Dixie admitting to letting TNA fester away and people's future be in limbo because she is to stubborn to sell the company. How big of her thinking of her employees by screwing any chances of saving or selling the company. Look, Dixie. No one wants to watch your reality show. At a time where just about everyone is getting a reality show yet no one wants yours is telling. Let that shit go. Speaking of letting go, sell the gawd damn company. You have no income coming in that is enough to pay the bills and your employees. The Nazis are going to run out of people to scare to keep working. The vendors will stop accepting IOUs and post dated checks. The wrestlers will eventually realize that they can make the same amount or more money being independant. And lastly this is deja vu of the conference call she had with everyone when Destination America cancelled Impact and she tried to reassure everyone that everything will be alright. She is going to stringing people along while planning her escape route. Dixie is going to pull a Heyman and folks won't know it's over until she is sitting in the crowd for a NXT Takeover or on vacation in Ibiza & the TNA Warehouse/Headquarters been padlocked .

Even with the TNA spin on it it's clear as Day it's admitted basically she rather watch the company fall than sale with this whole power struggle bullshit. The southern belle routine has worn off and the stars in the back better wake up soon
