Take this with a grain of salt as WWE could certainly just be gauging interest, but there's a new survey asking whether people would want TNA and ROH content on WWE Network, and it names TNA specifically. Could be coincidence, but with all the rumors out there, it's interesting that they ask it now.

The irony being that Betamax actually was widely used in broadcast for some time after it flopped as a consumer format (I remember having to go through tape libraries in Betamaxat a TV station when I was interning 13 years ago).

That article is taking the example way too literally. If Sinclair gave their tape library to anyone - and that would be a big if - it would be New Japan World. TNA is slightly more possible given recent events, but even then it would be doubtful. The "independent wrestling content" is most likely from Gabe (Dragon Gate USA, Evolve and FIP).
