So, he's literally selling off the company's history and starting 100% fresh but with the same roster of guys? ...TBH, that's about the best way to handle it. TNA is a tainted brand. Might as well scorch the earth and try again. Although, based on what I've seen of Corgan's booking, I'm not particularly thrilled by the idea of what his company will bring. That's the thing, most of the past is better than what they have now. It would probably be more exciting to watch other TNA eras than what they do in present time on Pop. But Corgan (or anyone buying TNA) would have no use for the library unless they could turn it into some kind of profit (ex. selling DVD's, etc). Sitting on the library and having it collect dust vs. selling to the WWE to (presumably) help wipe out the inherited debt and start from scratch seems like a no brainer. The WWE could use the content now that they have signed former TNA guys (AJ, Joe, Roode, Aries, etc). The brand is tarnished and will never be recouped. This was Corgan basically starting from scratch but having at least some type of infrastructure already in place. Though I agree that Corgan and his Russo-ific view of booking probably isn't a good thing, but I guess anything is better than Dixie.

These might be the words of somebody who might be put out on his rather ample posterior if Corgan takes over the company. He'll end up living in a candy van down by the river.

FAN staff, start working on a new TNA eulogy board description. We might be needing it soon. I nominate Bossman's eulogy poem for Big Show's dad. Bossman: Hey TNA! You're a filthy bastard and your momma said so!

With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked I'm sorry to hear that your company has finally croaked It lived a full life on its own terms Soon it will be buried and eaten by worms But if I could have a company as bad as this I'd have wished for cancer so I would die too So be brave, and be strong, get your life on track 'Cause the shit is finally DEAD and it isn't ever comin' back!' Except on the network

Dixie, oh Dixie, how could it be That the networks have dumped you And your talent does flee? You tweeted a storm As your investors did squirm You told us morale was high And that TNA would never die. You were proven wrong, your management was bad And now you can't get loans, not even from you're dad. Your foolishness made wrestling fans sad And sometimes made them mad For who else but you would sign Bram to a contact that's iron clad? It took a while but even you can no longer be in denial As the fans turned to WWE to see the champion, AJ Styles. Well I'd leave too if my company was run by you As a promising promotion you somehow slew.

Neither will I....I hope the current leadership regime stays far away from the sport. Let Corgan sink or swim on his own merits.

I just thought of something: What if Billy Corgan's rebranding for TNA is it becoming Global Force Wrestling? Double J already got everything but an actual roster and tv. If things go as planned, Billy would have a majority of the roster's contract and TV contracts. I sense the TNA brand and Impact Wrestling brand will be part of the WWE deal so no one be using those names for shows or company. Double J did tweet about big news coming soon. So either this is the plan or the latest shipment of Karen Jarrett 8x12s came in. Corgan - or anyone not named Jarrett - would be a complete fool to bring the GFW name/brand back into the mix. It's tainted as well already. And really, beyond the name, what does Global offer? They don't have any sort of secured roster to migrate over, no TV deals to latch on to, nothing. Whoever takes over, should someone take over, their best bet is to start 100% clean and free of the Jarrett/Dixie/Russo train that has been speeding downhill for over a decade.

I don't care that much for the Broken Matt character, but when the time comes to burn the TNA forum to the ground, it pretty clearly should just have a big header that says DELETE and nothing else.

If Billy takes over the company from Dixie, are there any known "Dixie Carter guys" backstage who won't have any support left and either likely be fired or quit when they see the writing on the wall?

For me, there's a "where there's smoke, there's fire" aspect to this as well. Like, if it was just one person on Twitter saying it's happening, I'd certainly question it. But if there's 3+ people saying it's happening (with Dave Meltzer not denying it either), it kind of makes me feel like, at the very least, there's something being talked about.

If anything happens, I wouldn't expect it until next Monday. I don't see them announcing anything during all these tapings and risk people walking out or fans starting shit. With the hurricane pushing their last taping until Saturday night, that means Sunday at the earliest and I cannot see them doing that (unless it was during No Mercy which seems unlikely), so that gets us to Monday. Not that word couldn't leak to someone like Meltzer, PWInsider, Rolling Stone or ESPN, just I don't see anything but denials and no comment from Billy, TNA or WWE if true.

Hopefully Gaburick and Ryder, they're her biggest stooges. Ryder has been that was since WCW. Plus with the amount of contacts he has, that might get him a stay of execution so to speak. I am really not sure what the hell Big does. He isn't a "Dixie guy" so to speak but JB could be gone as well. He also works for Robert Irvine and has moved to London I believe so he might have a reason to stick around.

One of the news articles mentioned that John Gaburick was very much in favour of selling to WWE because Billy would most likely get rid of him if he got full power. Also, seems like things are pointing to Bob Ryder getting the boot as well. I am really not sure what the hell Big does. Forgetting to renew your current Tag Team Champion aka Bobby Roode's contract. And signing Bram to a billion contracts.
