Called his final game today for the Dodgers. Started in 1950 for the then Brooklyn Dodgers a year before that he called a football game University of Maryland vs. Boston University from the roof of Fenway in November after leaving his coat and gloves at the hotel thinking there would be a press box.
Incredible career and we should all be so lucky to get to do something we love half as long as he did.

Made rooting for the Dodgers such a pleasant experience. It won't be the same without him, and even though I don't quite think it'll happen and he isn't doing playoffs, it would be so cool to win for Vin.

As I said in the main thread, home games won't sound the same without him. I always loved the stories he told during the games and I'm really gonna miss that.

Many Dodgers fans consider Vin Scully to be the voice of God. Awfully hard to argue against it. He will truly be missed
