Hold on, hold on. I know, it's TNA. You're thinking "Magic, it's not worth getting all mad about." But these people are so stupid, I can't even get over it.
You have Bobby Lashley, MMA Badass and a total package that comes off as the most legit world champion in wrestling. You have him drop the belt, WITH NO BUILD, to Eddie Edwards, a talented performer with nothing resembling star presence or mic skills. All for the sake of shocking people.
You know, for as much we shit on WWE (and make no mistake, I've taken my fair share of shits on them), at least Smackdown shows there's a few people in that company with an inkling of what makes this business work. TNA, after all these management changes and all the talent turnover, still have no idea what makes this business work. And that's why their history has been nothing but one failure after another.
TNA can EAD.

Eddie has NEGATIVE build. He's lost multiple mid-card title matches in recent weeks. I kinda get the idea of the cocky heel chooses the "Easy" challenger and the challenger gets an upset... but you don't do that immediatly after a PPV... the easy way out of this is have Eddie start to pick up steam and then have Lashley hit a low blow or walk out on the match or something. |

I can't hate Eddie winning the title because I do like him and in my mind this is the company's way to apologize for having to carry Rex at BFG, but... they really should have built up to it.
