So seriously, worst case scenario, how bad will this tax thing come back to bite them in the ass? If there is one thing you don't f*** with it is taxes. Once you have that on your ass and no place to recover you are in a shithole.

I can imagine the conversation between Kevin Dunn and Vince: Dunn: "John Gaburick me and offered me a proposal." Vince: "What proposal?" Dunn: "He offered to sell TNA's tape library to us if we gave him a job." Vince: "Let me see what he's done since started working for TNA and I'll consider it." Dunn: "OK." Later that day: Vince: "Kevin, I checked out what Gaburick has done with TNA and holy s***, that almost gave me a stroke. Tell him HELL NO!" Dunn: "That bad huh?" Vince: "My grandkids could have done a better job than him." Dunn: "Wow, it must have been bad." I could see the conversation go more like this. Dunn: So Vince about that offer to buy the TNA video library? Vince: Damn it Dunn! We've already got all of the Test, Albert and Trish Stratus footage in our own archives. How is it good business sense to re-buy what we already own?

TNA UPDATES by Mike Johnson @ 5:56 PM on 10/14/2016 The music rights issues regarding themes that were pulled from Impact Wrestling last night are said to be that songs that were written for Dale Oliver and according to two sources, a pay issue for that material is at the center of whether TNA had the proper rights to the songs or not. A story making the rounds is that TNA President Billy Corgan informed Pop about the issue (I cannot 100% confirm this to be the case, but have heard it from multiple sources) and TNA production had to spend a few extra hours on last night's episode to make sure it was fit to see air. There were some in the production circle grumbling about Corgan because of the extra work but to be fair, if there wasn't a question about the rights to begin with, no additional editing would have been necessary. If the music returns down the line, that means TNA and Oliver were able to come to terms. Serg Salinas, Dixie Carter's husband, would be who oversees TNA's musical rights. While no one has spoken out regarding the lawsuit Billy Corgan filed on 10/12, Jason Powell at www.ProWrestling.net was able to get a statement from Corgan's spokesperson Lissa Druss Christman: "As president, Billy is looking out for the long-term interest of the company, its employees, its talent, as well as its stakeholders and contractors.” All involved in the lawsuit have gone radio silent. In regard to rumors we have been asked about regarding wrestlers saying they are going to file breach of contract if their pay is late, it's possible that could happen as it was talked about by some at TV last week, but whether anyone actually does remains to be seen. TNA usually pays talents two weeks after they appear on television.

Whenever I feel like my life has reached its lowest point and I am full of doubt and questioning my own worth as a man, I shall be able to remind myself that at least I have never been reduced to such a low as to be groveling to Kevin Dunn. And this is what it comes down to for many people here, wanting to watch others crumble so they feel better about their lives. The celebrations over TNA's demise shock me. I get there were a lot of questionable practices, but I would much prefer if people showed some concern for everyone who is gonna be affected. Let's face it, a lot of these guys won't have a lot of options after. Its good that there will no longer be this sort of mismanagement, but I'm just amazed at how these discussions have no sympy for people that are gonna suffer. Another pet peeve is this cyber bullying of Kevin Dunn because of one Cornette shoot. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive.

At this point, I don't even want Dixie just out of wrestling for good. I want her in jail.

For a company that makes no money how do they owe taxes?

This is years of bad decisions and "oh wow, TNA managed to avoid dying yet again!" all coming home to roost. Painting themselves further and further into a corner beyond all reason and sense until there's no-where else to go.
I'm sure Dixie is going to be distraught about all this. I believe she cares heart and soul about the company. That she was so bad at running it and unable to see or have others to help deal with her limitations is another story.
The way things are snowballing, I'm genuinely wondering if they'll even get to do the next round of the Hardys Wackiness Marathon.

For a company that makes no money how do they owe taxes? Even if you make "no money" TNA in itself is still a for profit company and have to report their fillings. They have to report taxes on whatever they may pay for land where their corp is set amongst other things. Even if you are trying to skimp your way out of owing or paying a bunch of money since the workers are contractors I'm sure Dixie probably gives herself a little pay every 2 weeks for tax purposes amongst other things.

My question is, what is the state of Tennessee going to do with 5000 RDV shirts and 20,000 plastic EY beards?

Basically to keep it simple just because you didn't make money as a corp doesn't mean you don't owe in taxes as you still have to file.
