It came out a year or 2 ago from Marvel, so it's Disney. But it's really good, I'd still recommend reading it. I know I should, but I'm such a hardliner for the Legends Canon that anything from the Disney Canon turns me off. There are some areas of the Star Wars timeline where parsing Disney & Legends canon gets tricky, because there are conflicts and you'd have to ignore older stories (which can be problematic if you like them both) but usually as long as it's well done I don't mind. And for some reason the ANH to ESB years seemed so chock full of adventures already that stuffing more in there barely changes much of anything - it's 3 years, a lot can happen. The Lando story didn't conflict with very much, if anything, that had existed before and was pretty solid. I definitely don't mind that kinda stuff. My problematic area is post-ROTJ, which got completely erased. Dark Empire, Heir to the Empire.....gone. Bleh.

Early reactions have been almost universally positive, with particular praise for Glover and Ehrenreich.

I wonder what would a Lucas film under Disney be like A Lucas biopic or a Lucas-made film?

I'll probably end up looking like an idiot for saying this, but I think this is going to be a big disappointment at the box office (For a Star Wars movie, at least). We're a couple of weeks out from this movie and I don't think I know anyone that's really into Star Wars (Myself included) who are chomping at the bit to see this movie. I saw the new trailer before Infinity Wars and thought it still looked like a fan film.
It also wouldn't surprise me at the shitstorm over Last Jedi created a little bit of temporary fatigue over Star Wars.

And while even I'm feeling a bit "eh" after TLJ, I know I'm gonna get stoked when we start hearing news about IX.

With Avengers still going strong and Deadpool 2 about to hit theaters as well (along with the Overboard remake which I'm sure is setting up to be a box office juggernaut), Solo is coming out during a particularly busy time. While I think it will do fine, I wouldn't be too surprised if Solo did underperform.

along with the Overboard remake which I'm sure is setting up to be a box office juggernaut Overboard has been out for a week already. It took $14 million in it's opening weekend, and will probably be lucky to make $40 million when it's all said and done. Honestly, over the next month Infinity War, Deadpool 2 and Solo only have to worry about each other.

There was a lot of absolute garbage in the Legends continuity and it being gone from the canon I think is addition by subtraction. Like anything involving the Yevetha and the Yuuzhan Vong, anything written by Kevin J. Anderson besides the Tales of the Jedi comics about Ulic Qel-Droma and Exar Kun, Darth "My Cape Has Turned Against Me" Caedus, the half-a-dozen conflicting storylines about who really stole the Death Star plans, Palpatine's three-eyed son, Callista, etc.
