Solo is still hanging in there, it's still beating Deadpool at the Box Office this weekend and made a million more than expected... so that's something

went to see it today very much enjoyed it from it's laconic humour and different types of politics to han and lando and THEN THERE'S QI'RA basically the whole thing is a han solo movie, destiny game, a ship from homeworld ..... and an emily pankhurst joint finally it becomes futurama ..... NOT as good as rougue one, but a "different" good NOT as funny as return of the jedi, but a "different" funny NOT as big a scoundrel as empire strikes back, but a "different" scoundrel ..... wait ..... but takes all those iconic parts of hans' career from being a bit of an asshole, to being a massive asshole who DEFINITELY SHOOTS FIRST! and fills them in very well and it cost me £4.50 too, thanks super saver tuesday

Finally saw this last night. I don’t get some of the criticisms. Sure, it wasn’t “necessary” but it was a good Star Wars movie. This and Rogue One have felt more like Star Wars than the main movies.

Yeah, I saw it last week, and I liked it a lot. I think it was very, very underlit in a lot of scenes, but that's honestly my biggest complaint.

I saw it for a second time tonight. I still loved it.
And for a movie that's been out for five weeks now and ravaged there was still a decent amount of people in the theatre.

Even though I enjoyed both Force Awakens and Last Jedi, sitting down to this at home and being able to take everything in properly I think this and Rogue One are better than both.
I still don't buy Ehrenreich as a younger Ford, and actually reminds me more of a younger version of Kurt Russell's take on Han, but he certainly wasn't bad. It'll be a huge shame if Glover doesn't get to portray Lando again, though with a sequel unlikely to happen I can't think of any way he could.
And I liked L3-37. Sue me.
