Was this the fastest championship match ever? Serious answer: no. On Raw once before, there was a William Regal/Spike Dudley European title match. Regal hid the brass knuckles in the turnbuckle, ref went to check him, Spike took the knucks, punched out Regal...bell rang, immediate 3 count, new champion. So unless we ever get a 1 second in submission ala something that happened in WCW with Chavo Guerrero, Stevie Ray and Eddie Guerrero, that's the fastest title match ever.

Posted in spoilers since I don't know if it aired on Main Event yet: {Spoiler}He debuted in Green Bay last week and Crews beat him, so yeah. Not really surprising.

What does it say about Apollo Crews that I saw him job to Hawkins a house show last month?

What does it say about Apollo Crews that I saw him job to Hawkins a house show last month? It says that it may be slightly more people than actually watched him beat Hawkins in a match on Main Event last week.

It says that it may be slightly more people that actually watched him beat Hawkins in a match on Main Event last week. The Network still gets Main Event episodes on a month delay right? So, even with the building being about 40% full, that's still likely to be accurate.

Main Event is on Hulu and doesn't premiere on the Network until 3 weeks later.

Now that Slater is somewhat credible there was space open for a heel goober that gets beat up on the regular.
Hawkins seems to fill that role nicely.

If current WWE is something to go by, being a loser is good move for his career (Ellsworth, Slater) in the long run.
