The Mixed Match Challenge Tournament began this week, and one pair of Superstars are displeased that they were not invited to the party. AJ Styles & Charlotte Flair competed together in the original Mixed Match Challenge, naturally the pair of Horsemen believed they would be in the new tournament. Now that the brackets have been announced and they are not in the tourney, the Horsemen have voiced their displeasure to RAW General Manager, Noelle Foley. While the GM has apologized for the oversight, the duo cannot be added to the tournament. However, Foley offered the pair a consolation prize. If AJ and Charlotte can defeat tournament team Zelina Vega & Andrade, the Horsemen will earn a future RAW Tag Team Championship. While displeased, the Horsemen never pass an opportunity for gold! Charlotte Flair has declared that despite her husband being on the opposite side, Zelina Vega doesn't stand a chance.

Trick Williams vs Omos (c)
When Trick Williams lost the NXT Championship in a shocker, RAW and SmackDown immediate jumped, attempting to recruit the former Champ before he even had a chance to discuss his next steps with NXT General Managers or the Comissioner. In the end, it was RAW Comissioner and General Manager, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Noelle Foley, who emerged victorious with a landmark deal. Trick's contract was bought out for a whopping One Million Dollars to the Black and Gold Brand. As a signing bonus, Williams will make his debut for RAW at Fastlane, taking on the Nigerian Giant, Omos, for his covted Intercontiental Championship! Omos promises to make RAW regret spending to much on Trick, he has the size and the power to crush Trick's dreams, will he? Find out when WWE returns to Brooklyn!

Not only did they lose both Damian Priest's World Heavyweight Championship and Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship, Dominik Mysterio and Ripley also lost in the first round of the Mixed Match Challenge Tournament. The misfortune didn't even stop there, following their loss, Dominik was the recipient of a curse from opponent, Isla Dawn, and had been transformed into a frog! The curse wore off within 24 hours, but it has lit a fire under Dominik! To make up for the humiliation (and avoid a potential visit to The Undertaker's office), RAW GM Noelle Foley granted The Judgement Day a shot at The LWO's RAW Tag Team Championship. Roman Reigns may be off making movies, but that won't stop Moxley from attempting to take a pound of flesh from The Tribal Chief's family. Jimmy Uso doesn't back down from a fight, and if Mox has a problem with The Bloodline, he can take it up with him first.

With leave from the rest of the crew, Bryan will keep his focus on Samoa Joe and Logan Paul for now. It's hard to argue when The New Day claim they are the greatest tag team in history. Capturing the SmackDown Tag Team Championships at Payback led to a massive celebration as Big E returned to manage his best friends and teammates. The Champs were interrupted by The Creed Brothers, who we last saw at SummerSlam... being forced to row The Viking Raiders back from Hawaii to the mainland. Well, it appears all that rowing seems to have done these boys good, because the Brothers are back, looking jacked, and ready to rumble all over Brooklyn! Shucky Ducky Quack Quack*!

Another pair of Superstars unhappy about being snubbed from the Mixed Match Challenge Tournament are Karrion Kross and Scarlett. Earlier this year, Kross defeated Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. While neither man holds the title at this time, Karrion Kross and Scarlett intend to make Sami pay for being selected for a mixed tag tournament over them. Sami asked tournament partner Chelsea Green to back him up at Fastlane, and Green agreed, but is nowhere to be found. Sami's on his own, but that doesn't mean he's out of lucky! Zayn and Kross face each other in a rematch in Brooklyn!

Jacy Jayne and Sonya Deville have been the center of controversy for months. Running through tag teams, insulting the WWE Universe, making crass jokes online, if there's a way to make someone mad, you should expect Jayne and Deville to have pulled it in recent memory. Enter Liv Morgan. On RAW, Jayne and Deville were messing with the women's locker room during a mandatory meeting. Jacy and Sonya had made their way through several of their fellow Superstars' bags when Liv Morgan walked in on the duo. Calling out their childish behavior, Liv embarrassed the Women's Tag Champs, which led to Jayne and Deville interfering with Liv's Number One Contender's Match with Rhea Ripley. Now with the Champions trying to bully her, Morgan challenged the duo to a title match at Fastlane. Deville and Jayne were all too happy to agree, thinking Liv to not have an ace up her sleeve. The RAW before Fastlane, Liv introduced her tag team partner, Becky Lynch! The Man has been on hiatus since WrestleMania, a win tonight would send The Man rocketing back up the rankings of the Women's Division! Former rivals team up at Barclay's, it's Morgan & Lynch against the most talked about Tag Team in Wrestling today!

Drew McIntyre has finally shaken The Judgement Day off his back. With CM Punk's recovery date still in question, DM Hunk has been enjoying his reign as World Heavyweight Champion. The Champ's goal to go viral everywhere he goes has drawn the ire of The All Mighty. Bobby Lashley criticized Drew McIntyre's Social Media addiction, saying that The Scottish Psychopath should be more focused on representing WWE than himself. Of course, seeing that he was getting under Lashley's skin, Drew challenged Bobby to take it up with him face to face... on the new YouTube show, Hot Ones: One On One. Rather than an interview show like the original, Hot Ones: One On One challenges two competitors to consume hot wings, each wing hotter than the last. Not afraid to put the Champion to shame, Lashley agreed, and threw the challnege when he tossed Drew threw the challenge table instead of competing! One RAW, the embarrassed Champion then challenged the All Mighty to a match at Fastlane, which was what Bobby wanted all along. Brooklyn might not be big enough for these Superstars to go at it!

The match that was initially scheduled to main event Payback is finally taking place. Tama Tonga battles his old foe, Cody Rhodes. Bullet Club may be fine, but The American Nightmare still plans to exact revenge on Tama Tonga for kidnapping his dog. The Bloodline is backing him, Tama Tonga plans to bring the Undisputed WWE Championship back to the family and lay it at the feet of the Tribal Chief. Cody fought too hard to lose the title to a mercenary like Tama Tonga, and claims that if Tama Tonga wants to take his prized Championship, he will have to beat Cody to death's door to do so. Tama Tonga says fine by him. It's a match years in the making, Rhodes and Tonga will throw down at Barclay's!

If Iyo Sky fails to defeat Gigi Dolin, Damage CTRL will not be able to challenge for the WWE Women's Championship for the remainder of Gigi's reign
Things have not been going Damage CTRL's way. Since Asuka lost the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam, all attempts to defeat Gigi Dolin have been answered by the champ. While Cody Rhodes was distracted chasing The Bloodline, Gigi put SmackDown on her back and carried the brand. After Asuka, Gigi defeated Dakota Kai at Payback, and was hoping to put Damage CTRL in her rear view mirror when the faction struck a deal with SmackDown General Managers, the Bella Twins. Nikki and Brie declared that this is Damage CTRL's final shot at taking the title from Dolin, if Iyo Sky does not reclaim the championship, the entire faction is barred from competing for the title until Gigi Dolin loses it to someone else. Looking to put a period on the long rivalry, Gigi insisted there was only one way to end this.
