Looking back at Day of Reckoning 2, as much as there is to love about the game its roster is dire. Only four women, only five legends, and I think literally the only semi-contemporary tag teams are William Regal & Tajiri and Rene Dupree & Kenzo Suzuki and even then by the time the game had come out Tajiri and Regal hadn't teamed in months and Suzuki had been fired. In particular I'm baffled by the lack of the Bashams given they weren't that far removed from being with JBL and were in the first DoR. I felt the same way about some of the SVR games not having enough women or lower-card men to play as.

In DoR, that was 2 females from both shows (ugh... Torrie...), and it wasn't much better for SD vs. RAW 2006 due to the hideous Fulfill Your Fantasy match that couldn't be used by female CAWs.

Limiting the women on the extreme match types sucked too.

There was a lot of weird Diva things going on in WWE games at that time. Like, for several years, you couldn't put any divas in any 6-person match, even when you could put the same divas in a 4-person match of the same type.

Speaking on bad decisions with the women in the older games; there would always be a weird attire choice each year. Generally it would be someone in high heels for some reason, which peaked with Candice Michelle in her ring attire but wearing high heels boots 🤔 But worst of the worst was the Bellas (during their twin magic phase) being dressed in completely different outfits that were hideous, not even wrestling attires and featured SANDALS: {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}

Lita not being in the original SvR and DOR was such a weird choice. I'm still mad tbh because around 03/04 she was wearing my favourite gear of hers. Yet she was in the crappy Wrestlemania 21 game that nobody remembers:

Blockbuster had one copy and I assume someone took it out and kept it.

I did play WM 21.
My buddy was a big wrestling fan and had an x-box.
I don't remember anything about it except it seemingly being uglier than the Raw games that came before it... and also not being very good.

The only things I liked about WM 21 was that it was the first WWE game to have a high school gym as an arena, and that they had versions of the IWGP and ROH belts in the game (emblazoned with WWE logos instead of the company's logos of course, a clever but typically egomaniacal way to get around that.)
Studio Gigante was in way over it's head with this game, and it showed.

I played WM 21 a lot when I was a kid because I dug the graphics a lot and I just favored Xbox in general, but god even then I was not about to defend the gameplay at *all*
Literally like watching wrestling matches where neither guy has done a single stretch in 3 months. You can feel their bones creak.

{Spoiler}The best part was when Steiner ducked a clothesline..... And then did push-ups until getting kneed in the head.
