Dear WWE,
As a wrestling forum moderator who is consistently in and out of the job, I observe a lot of wrestling and wrestling discussion. And a lot of it recently has pertained to your upcoming Survivor Series show, and the televised buildup to that show. I'm not normally one to criticise, but basically, I ask you one question. What's the deal here?
Your brand split has been reactivated for a matter of months, yet you expect us as fans to believe that in that time, your rosters have built up enough faith and trust in those brands to throw aside their existing rivalries and throw down with each other against "the enemy", an enemy that they seemed to work with just fine mere months ago. You have Dean Ambrose throwing down with a man he claims he is closer to than his own family in Roman Reigns, just because he's in a red shirt and not a blue one. You have Bray Wyatt, a man under no guidance other than his own, seemingly swearing allegiance to the artificial construct that is the SmackDown brand by wearing their colours. And then there's Bayley. Sweet, innocent Bayley. Her intentions may have been pure, after all she was coming to the defence of a teammate who was attacked unprovoked by Nikki Bella, albeit a teammate that she is currently feuding with, but you still have her willingly participate in a 6-on-2 handicap situation without question or query, all in the name of brand loyalty. American Alpha and The Usos, Enzo Amore and Big Cass and The Club, Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles (who have a title match against each other scheduled soon)... It goes on.
At this point, all I ask is for you to just give us some answers as to what the motivation for these guys are. Is it money? Is it title shots? Is Vince bringing the snowcone machine next time he shows up at the winning brand? Just give us something for next time, because I know it's too late in the piece to add motivations for this year. And could you at least put it on the telly so we don't have to fill in the gaps ourselves like this?
Please take it on board for next year, because we're all f***ing confused and/or angry right now and it's not good for our health and sanity.
Regards, Excellence
P.S. Please do RAW more good.

At least Smackdown got more motivation that if they lose, Taker's gonna kill them.
But yeah some of the unity shit bugs me, like Alpha cheering with the Usos who took Gable out and Jordan in the past, and Bayley joining in on the RAW Beatdown was oh so wrong...

When I saw Bayley actually helping in a beatdown of a face I knew it was ridiculous. Wyatt being the way he is, I could overlook that since he's done it before, Ambrose and Reigns? They've fought before.
But Bayley doing a beatdown like that? Nah bruh, that was dumb.

I believe the correct way to say it is "Please do RAW more better."

You know how certain sports leagues' all-star games have the caveat of home field/court/ice advantage for the winning conference in the championship finals? Maybe something similar in that the winning brand gets to have No. 30 in the Royal Rumble?

Vince thinks his fans are morons is probably the only answer there is.

Maybe something similar in that the winning brand gets to have No. 30 in the Royal Rumble? I've seen the idea floated that the winning brand should get THE main event spot at Wrestlemania, which would be perfect. Everyone involved has some stake in benefiting from it (in their own minds) and it would actually give the split some semblance of competition.

There is probably a secret pay raise to the winning team.

I miss the one time "Ultimate Survivor" match at SS 90, They should do that again or "Survivors go into a Battle royal and winner of that is #1 contender at Royal Rumble"

This should be the motivation for the teams
SDL: Shane and DB has ensure bonus money for winning, plus guys like AJ is an jackass egomaniac and he wants to rub it in everyone's faces that he's the man. From Raw to Smackdown to NXT to Titan Towers, you will know AJ is the best.
Raw: Stephanie is power tripping again but she realizes that her roster hates each other. I mean Owens has just hit a low blow on Roman. Just because. Mick is trying to keep order but he's too damn nice. The only way she can get these fools in line is to threaten their jobs. Even then The Club tried to beat up new day.
But no, the issue is Brand>>>>>>individual. You are not here to see AJ try be the best but Smackdown be the best. New Day might be closing on Demolition, but so? All that matters is they have fun and entertain. Wyatt being an agent of chaos? Nope. Got to rep that blue! Bayley doing gang beatdowns? Don't worry, it's for RAW. So don't question it. Enjoy the show because they are happy to be here.
And they wonder why they need part timers to help them draw.

Was anybody really expecting any different when they announced this concept? I mean, honestly. What storytelling has WWE done this year that would give you faith this wouldn't be a hot mess other pure optimism?

Seeing Bayley curb stomp fools like that makes me think she'd make one hell of a heel when the time's right. Just ditching all her kiddy crap and just snapping on some new younger girl and beating the living hell of her.
