If ever one year needed more than an hour wipe, it's this one. Give him ninety minutes and give us more Cunk and Shitpeas. If anything, less Cunk and Shitpeas. So many people seem to like them, but they've been my least favourite parts of Brooker's "Wipes" in recent years. I quite like Ed on Strictly to be honest. He's by a long way the worst act left in the competition but compared to other joke acts I find him endearing and feel that he has made great progress as a dancer as the weeks have gone on. He's certainly much better then the likes of Anne Widdecombe and John Sergeant for example. I do think he'll be gone this week though, the standard of the rest of the field is just too high IMO. He's definitely improved, and actually comes across as much nicer than you'd imagine. It's just frustrating when people who could dance like Greg Rutherford and Daisy Lowe get the boot while he stays in. Mind you, as you said we've had Anne Widdecombe and John Sargent in the past, and they stayed in as well due to the public vote. The general public have a lot answer for! I don't watch Strictly (speaks volumes about how much I dislike it when they have Daisy Lowe and Louise Redknapp on it, two celeb crushes of mine, but I still can't watch), but this happens every year, and I just think it's the public messing with the BBC. They clearly decide who they want to win before it even starts anyway.

That said, when they got into trouble along with ITV for charging people who texted after the deadline it seemed like a wake up call to clean up their act. If they got caught tampering with people's votes it'd spell big trouble.

Just read the TV guide mags, it's scheduled for 9PM on the 29th of December. Cunk is going to interview Professor Brian Cox on it.
Cunk on Christmas airs immediately after it.

2016 is the year Florida became the entire world. I'm not sure a 6 episode series of 2016 wipe will be enough.

Tonight's the night. 9PM.
It's gonna be a doozy...though could still feel somewhat incomplete if they filmed it ahead of Carrie's passing

And following straight afterwards Philomena Cunk takes a look at the true meaning of Christmas, including the difference between Pagans and Chris Packham and the impact of Charles Dickings (intentional spelling mistake, that's how she says it)

I really think he should have had Shitpeas cover the election the way they had Cunk cover Shakespeare this year "Tupperware is the new china" Like 30 to 35% percent of that sentence makes sense to me.

Yeah, that was great. Tying it all back to the puddle story at the top of the year was something.
Charlie mentions Harambe in the show, but at no point did he cover any of that, which was odd.
The Bowie tribute from Cunk was good, ("My favourite incarnation of his was Prince, but that act died with him")
The "Fake News" segment at the end was so awesome. Good on the genuine BBC News team for being such self-deprecating sports. Can we have maybe a talent exchange and get Emily Surname on the actual news programmes?
A bonus "Moments of Wonder" about the "'Pocalypse" ("...but we really should be less worried about that and more worried about Armageddon")
Was that Cassette Boy again with the "Miss Jackson" remix of Trump? He didn't bother crediting them like he normally does.
Cunk on Christmas was a slightly weaker offering, but the interviews with the kids were great ("he probably shoplifts")

The Full Wipe is on Youtube now. Does contain some NSFW material though, so I won't link to it.

Good stuff as always. Loved the jokes about staying in your own echo chambers. Never heard about the puddle thing and now i wish i didnt. They really made a whole news story about a f***ing puddle? and said puddle went viral? f*** sakes

This certainly was a roller coaster of emotions. I went from laughing ferociously to slamming my head into a wall in despair within seconds.
