That's both glorious and cheesy. Mainly because of his current character. I love the way it reads; "If It's Not Best Male Superstar; AJ Styles.' hahahaaa....

Outside of Worst Match and Best Female, I think these are pretty spot on. The graphics look great as well. Thanks for doing this!

Give me a break, FAN. What did Eva do to qualify as 'worst' besides having a fun storyline that played to her strengths, a great entrance, and getting real reactions? She's a glorified valet who is comfortably the worst wrestler, male or female, on the roster. If she were just a valet I don't think anybody would have a major problem, but the fact that she's presented as a wrestler is enough to merit her nomination.

It was really tough picking Charlotte over Becky, but I thought the former had a better year. Becky seemed doomed to "never winning the big match when it mattered". Before the split, she was feuding with Dana & Emma where her black eye from WM was a focal point (get it, get it?).
She won the SDL Women's title, yeah, but even that seemed to be thrown into disarray with the mystery illness, then the disappointing matches with Alexa. (They don't mesh well.)

It's all subjective. Charlotte had a very good year. She developed into a great heel, exuding a lot of confidence. I think from a kayfabe perspective (how strongly they were booked) or from an in-ring perspective, Asuka was the best female superstar of the year. She won the NXT Women's Championship and was never defeated. However, you can't argue with fact that Charlotte did much bigger things than Asuka in 2016. Charlotte was undefeated on PPV, had a Hell in a Cell match, Iron Man match, Raw main events, and was in a showcase match at Mania. In this sense, she blows Asuka out of the water. Asuka just had a few big matches spread out over the year. Likewise, Becky didn't have as many big time moments. If we're going by those special moments, only Sasha can rival Charlotte since Sasha was there for all those big moments too. At that point it comes down between Sasha and Charlotte. Go with the one you think was better this year. More people here went with Charlotte.

Charlotte was handed the Stupid Yo-yo Belt 4 times even after having a dreadful Diva's title reign and consistently getting X-Pac heat. They killed Paige's run at the start of 2016 because even after mocking Reid people would rather cheer her than Charlotte "Ric Flair's Daughter" Flair (Who is Ric Flair's daughter). And I don't see how anyone can discount Becky on the grounds of "mediocre matches" when the queen of mediocrity these last 18 months won woman of the year.

I'm a huge Becky fan, but she's easily fourth best year at best after Charlotte, Asuka, and Sasha.

I think Becky's the better wrestler, but Charlotte had some great matches this year. Her falls count anywhere match with Sasha on Raw was f***ing fantastic. She's also started utilizing her athleticism to create big, memorable spots in big matches. She doesn't bust them out for just any match, but she did that twisting moonsault on the Raw after the Draft and did that Moonsault off the announcer's table on top of the stage during that falls count anywhere match. I called her overrated in 2015, but, come on, she's gotten herself over big time. That's what really matters. She has really helped raise the perception of the women with the audience. The crowds are seeing the women's segments and matches as important parts of the show now, sometimes the most important part of it.

A bit surprised to see that Revival/DIY didn't make honorable mention for Best Feud. Styles/Cena is a very deserving winner, but I thought Revival/DIY was right up there with it.

Be the worst female wrestler since Jackie Gayda? Rosa is worse than Eva. Maybe, but how harsh would it be for someone who hasn't appeared on TV since April 2015 to win Worst Female of 2016?

Be the worst female wrestler since Jackie Gayda? Did she even wrestle this year, besides a quick spot at WM and a few NXT matches? I kinda feel like these awards are for what's done in any given year, not the general perception of a wrestler. Nothing Eva's done this year has been 'worst' worthy.

I'd say the suspension was pretty damn bad at least, considering it seems to have cost Eva her push, and with it, the opportunity to show off any possible improvement in the ring she has done.

I heard that she was filming a movie so that's why she's still gone. Not sure though. The suspension is certainly disappointing, I agree.

She might be filming a movie, but it says something that they almost immediately gave her introduction gimmick to Curt Hawkins, who hasn't done anything of note since returning to the company.

One seems to be a pretty big role in a Nicolas Cage film (can't wait for this glorious disaster).

In a roster that features Carmella and Dana Brooke, there's no way in hell Eva Marie is the worst female superstar.
