Eh, on its own it looks ok; but it looks like it has only the most tenuous connection to the story (Brother Blood stuff in the first chapters, Slade vs Dick in the apartment) Maybe a Netflix watch for me.
If the art looked remotely Perez-like, I'd be way more interested.

If the art looked remotely Perez-like, I'd be way more interested. That's what kills it for me. They do all these standalone features where they try to emulate the art of the story they're adapting, but completely lose all the Wolfman/Perez elements here. I don't get it. Honestly, I think their shared animated universe is stupid. They were far more enjoyable as standalone pictures. Look at all the best ones they've done - Under the Red Hood, All-Star Superman, The Dark Knight Returns, New Frontier, Superman vs. The Elite, Green Lantern: First Flight. Those aren't bogged down with pseudo-52 continuity and crappy art direction, they're just enjoyable self-contained stories and you get a new look and voice cast that fits each version. I prefer that so much more than what they've been doing since Justice League: War.

And also really comes off like if they really want to do an ongoing DC story like this, it seems like they'd be better served just dropping the movies entirely and making a TV show out of it. I wouldn't watch it most likely, but at least then there'd be an actual reason to have an ongoing plot, and with the often poor DVD sales for these things you could probably make a lot more money off doing the same thing but with toy revenue and ads.

{Spoiler}So, movie's out and... Yeah, they pretty much butchered the comic by way of stripping out Deathstroke's characterization, making Terra more heroic, and making the whole thing about Damian. Fully expected that.

Yep, just as half-assed as all the New 52 movies.

Fully expected that. Well, that's a pass from me. They could have just adapted the comic and done George Perez' art style like they do for all those Batman adaptations. This New 52 shared movie verse sucks hard.

When will DCAU get out of this Nu52 shit, There's a reason DC rebirth is one big giant apology to the fans. Please let this be the last of the Nu52 verse or Damianverse.

the hell happened to DC's Animated properties. Bruce Timm wants Batman to bang Batgirl. Bruce Timm knows better than non-creeps.

Its a sad time when the Injustice series feels the least polluted of DC's properties right now.
