So I've been writing a short story (shouldn't be more than seven pages long) and I am almost finished with it so I would love if some of you guys and gals would give me feedback, though I don't want to just dump it here and wait for people to reply, I think it'd be more constructive if I send it directly to people who know they'll be interested in reading it, especially since I would like people to point out if I made grammatical or spelling errors, if some things are worded awkwardly and generally provide feedback on it. I should also point out that it's a fanfic (for FFVIII) and no, it's not that kind, don't worry.
So if you're interested, please say so in this thread or send me a PM and I'll send it to you ASAP. Like I said, it's short and an easy read (at least I think it is) so it shouldn't take much of your time. It's a fairly simple story, basically just a dialogue between two characters. There's no big action scene or dramatic plot twists or anything like that; it's meant as a character study. And don't be afraid to criticize it as long as it's constructive. People often seem to feel like they should only give their opinion on a work if it's positive but really, saying what's wrong and how to fix it helps a lot. I'm not fishing for compliments, I'm fishing for advice.
Of course, that doesn't mean you should just go out of your way to nitpick everything either.
But seriously, just tell me what you think and don't sugarcoat it, for better or for worse.
