I still haven't seen it but that was hilarious. I can't get over how corny Leto's Joker seems.

I still liked the film. Maybe it's because I watched it right after Batman vs Superman, but I found it enjoyable, even if there was lots of exposition.

Funny stuff.
This was a really disjointed movie, in that there were some really good performances holding up a really lackluster story. It's not awful, but nothing I want to revisit any time soon.
I like that they went after the soundtrack too, in that it was so jarring. Most if not all of the songs were good, but they just really did seem like someone had hit the randomizer button their cd player.

Still can't believe how absolutely shitty crock looked in this and just how terrible the Joker was on all fronts and really...
and just about everything about this movie... I mean Margot and Smith were alright... but like everything else was a disaster... a somewhat entertaining disaster...which puts it ahead of the rest of the DCCU but sure as hell didn't make it good.

I kinda enjoyed the movie on the big screen despite it's glaring flaws, and I did like Leto's take on Joker, but I've tried watching it twice at home now and tapped out both times before the halfway point.

Plain and simple, there were two easy reasons why leto's joker sucked. He was a poor man's ledger joker, and he pretty much never told jokes. Really, think about. Every single version of the various interpretations(nicholson, hamil, romero, ledger, anybody) would tell jokes as they did evil deeds. You may not necessarily have found those jokes funny, but you remembered them. Leto tried to brush it off by saying that people didn't like his Joker being so dark, but Ledger Joker was actually darker if you take a look at what he did. Absolute failure. And of course his physical appearance seemed to be a desperate grab at appealing to the latest trends.

So, he was ASBAR Joker. I kinda had a suspicion that Ben Affleck was more Crazy Steve than Bruce Wayne myself. Now if he kidnaps Dick Grayson Age 12 and paints a whole room yellow to fight off against Green Lantern, then I'll be sure of it.

He looks like that because the Batman broke his face after he killed Robin! No. In a world where Batman is killing thugs he wouldn't just beat the crap out of Joker and have him arrested. there would be NO Joker because Batman would have executed him.

It was a decent summer action movie but nothing more. Some characters held up their part but the movie as a whole fell apart at the seams.
Still more favorable than batman v superman

So, everyone's in agreeance now that Leto sucked?
When it originally came out it seemed here, on my Facebook feed, in person there was always, like, 2 outta 5 people that seemed to like it or defend him. I love that they brought up Jim Carrey. I seriously couldn't believe I got Jim Carrey Riddler vibes from Jared Leto playing Joker.
Agreed with the whole video. Especially about Jai Courtney being a surprise and Cara whatever sucking.

Honest Trailers works best when they're doing bad/bland movies, so they really got their groove back some this summer.

Ah, the "Little Nicky: I smashed your face in with a shovel" method of explaining things. Also, yeah, I just recently got around to seeing Dawn of Justice (which I keep meaning to make a thread of), and there's no way Joker would be alive with this Batman. Guy had no qualms about throwing f***ing cars with the Batmobile and using live ammo; killing his protege would probably not have resulted in a smashed face.
