Woke up to lamb stew being made in my kitchen....yum! If you could wake up to your favorite smelling food, what would it be? Bonus for recipes. Double bonus for pics!

I woke up to the smell of my wife cooking breakfast on Sunday, which just translates to "I wonder what new way she's going to f*** up the eggs this time?"
Rubbery, somehow. Not that I don't appreciate the effort.

cinnamon rolls
But since I'm the main cook in my family and my wife's family, I think I've only had the pleasure of waking up to somebody else cooking food once in my entire life.
When I like to cook on saturday/sunday morning, it's normally biscuits and gravy, cornbread or eggs and bacon.

I woke up to the smell of bacon and eggs... all that was left was dirty dishes.

I don't eat meat but fully admit the smell of bacon cooking on a morning is incredible.

Not that it's my favourite food, but as others have said, waking up to the smell of bacon being cooked is always a sign it's going to be a good day.
