I just got Origin Access... EA's subscription service and all three of these games are on there. I'm about an hour into playing Dragon Age: Origins and I freaking love this. I thought I wouldn't because it looks like Skyrim and I can't get into that to save my life (tho my friend tells me that's because I'm playing it on console and Bethesda console ports suck.) Anyway so I'm playing Origins on PC and this is the most engaged I've been with a game that wasn't made by Blizzard in a year.

I absolutely loved Inquisition. One of my favorite games on the PS4/XB1.

Origins is probably my least favorite of the three...
But I was so bored playing Origins, it felt like there was like hours of setup and then actual action bits of the Action RPG were over in mere seconds.
that's a minority opinion as most seem to give that to Dragon Age 2, which admittedly yeah they did cut a lot of stuff out of 2 and 2 was rushed out. But I enjoyed 2 far more than Origins.
That said Inquisition is much better it took the stuff I liked from 2 and added a lot of the extra bits from Origins without feeling like a slog... as long as you get out of the Hinterlands as soon as possible, as that is easily the worst section of the game.

DA 2 is my favorite. Mostly due to Hawke, Bethany and Isabela

Having played and enjoyed all three of the Dragon Age games, I will leave my thoughts... because... why not? I could post butts, but I have a thread already for that. DA:O - Fantastic game, great story, great characters... but an absolute bore to play through a second time. The first time I played DA:O I was just in awe about everything, explored every nook and cranny, talked to everyone and wasted so much time playing through it on my first go. I tried to get back into another run, but I just couldn't. It just felt slow and sluggish compared to the other Dragon Age games. Still a wonderful game though.... And I still despise the Fade level. Ugh. DA2 - My favorite of the DA games. Sure, the game reuses a lot of areas and feels rushed, but damn... it is a blast to play. I love the combat, Hawke and the characters... except one particular one. The dialog system they use is still my favorite of any game I've played and it made going through the game again fun. From being an aggressive magic hating warrior, a charming wise-ass rogue or a diplomatic peaceful mage, the game is just a blast to play. DA:I - DA:I is DA:O and DA2 slammed together with a bit of Skyrim, and it's a fun game. Combat is the most polished of the three, the dialog system is... alright, the characters are again great, the story is alright. It does a poor job of showing the villain off. Like, there's one real badass scene in the early game... and then they just kinda show up every now and then, until the end of the game. I love the companions' stories though. Overall, the Dragon Age series is a fun story to play through. ... Sera was never an agreeable girl...

You know, the thing people have been asking them for the entire f***ing time.

I only briefly played Origins... Didn't get too far into it and don't remember a single thing about it, so Inquisition was my proper introduction to the series. I certainly don't feel like I missed out by skipping the rest.

You honestly could. Like, you'd have more context by doing them in order, and stuff from the first two come up a lot from the third one, so out of order would spoil stuff, but they tell you plenty to not get too lost.

As long as you continue to flirt with her and don't romance anyone else, Vivienne will mention in the DLC that you two have been out on dates.

one of my favorite game series. I even love the much-maligned Dragon Age 2 (yeah it was blatantly rushed and has series plot issues but the character work was sublime).

She was adorable. you kinda... sorta do in the last DLC. if you flirted with her a bunch and never romanced anyone else the epilogue suggests the inquisitor and Harding go out on a date but... yeah. must suck for Dwarf wardens/inquisitors, their only options are always significantly taller.

I got bored of DA Inquisition and can't remember anything about the plot or characters at all. I'm trying my best to remember a character or part of the game but I'm failing.

I'm glad he returned for DA:I. Also, romanced Cassandra in Inquisition, both because her scenes are great ("NOTHING SHOULD HAPPEN! She was falsely accused!"), and she bears a striking resemblance to Olivia Wilde. I think it's the eyes.

Origins was amazing. One of my favourite games ever (the Circle Tower quest really is awful, though).
Dragon Age 2 was not as good but still fun. Thought the chars were kind of weak, and the fact it took place in the same city the whole game was lame but interesting at the same time. The battle system was great.
Inquisition was the worst one for me. Lots of boring side quests they forced you to do. Graphics were awful on PS3. Also hated that you couldn't give your party members more complex tactics like you could in the previous games. I liked the characters more than the ones in 2, though.

I really need to play DA2. I played through Origins, though never finished the DLC, and played through DA:I (though never bought the DLC)
Never played 2 due to the negative reviews it had
Favorite romance was romancing Sera as a Qunari woman.

Origins is probably my favorite game of all time; the "origins" part is a formula I wish they didn't abandon in the next games. Just how those prequel events unfolded changed how I played the story and what my goals were better than any other game. I beat the game with every race variant, its one of the few games I actually did a full genuine play-through more than once.

Dragon Age Origins is one of my favorite RPGs, I love love love it, especially the combat and the tactics feature.
But I just cannot get into the sequels. Every time I think about how nerfed the gameplay is compared to the first and it pisses me off.
