Predictions for 2017

[The Dark Order Inferno]

Triple H comes back in January to build to a match with Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania, cutting promos that make Seth Rollins look like a second rate wannabe because he's not allowed to reply with anything that would make Hunter look weak. The match will get more hype than, and will go on after the Smackdown world title match.

Randy Orton will engage in a world title feud with Roman Reigns that doesn't get a great reception, but is painted as an all time classic by the commentators on whatever brand it happens on despite the fans not being that into either man during the feud.

Ok... Some bankers, some long-shots, no particular order...

- Katya Kavaleva signs, makes fewer than seven televised appearances, is quietly dropped and never spoken of again.
- Daniel Bryan wrestles precisely no times.
- Cesaro will win/hold exactly no singles titles.
- The novelty veteran / surprise entry spot in the Rumble will be Val Venis.
- Kane will work/win more PPV matches (including pre-shows) than Eric Rowan.
- Asuka will lose the NXT women's title without being pinned/tapped (e.g. in a triple-threat where someone else takes the pin).
- Magnus debuts straight on main roster.
- Kurt Angle will be the year's "Veteran brought back to shill the 2K video game." Will suplex a couple of dudes. Will not work a whole singles match.

There won't be a single World Champion in 2017 that hasn't already been a World Champion.
