According to the ring announcer it's "Lord" James Blears. Yeah, "Lord" James Blears. He passed away just this past March. I never hear him brought up much, but from everything I've read, he's one of the most fascinating personalities I've ever read about. He served in WW2 and (along with a few other soldiers) escaped capture and execution by Japanese soldiers. He was a world champion surfer and two of his children were the best male and female surfers of their time. Lived to 92, as well. Simply fascinating. |

That's Lord James Blears. His position was chairman of the Pacific Wrestling Federation.

Ok, this guy rules. If I'm running a wrestling company, I'm going to make it a point: all authority figures need to be presented like Lord James Blears or Jack Tunney. No Stephanie McMahon/Eric Bischoff style overlords.
Dario Cueto is cool though.
