I am honestly convinced that she got hit with that first punch and her mind shattered. I think she's so incapable of taking a punch that anything she had planned on doing went out the window. As we've heard, her corner had nothing helpful to say/shout to her Even before she got hit it looked like she didn't want to be in there. She just looked so...awkward. Almost BJ Penn-esque in his most recent fight with Frankie(without the tippy-toed, surfboard strapped to his ass stance) and not in a way I can entirely blame on Edmond. Professional fighting seems like the worst job to have if you're not really into it, where not putting your full effort into it means you're gonna get the hell kicked out of you. It's always kind of sad to me when MMA dynasties crumble. Though I find the almost immediate flood of "salt in the wound" GIFs and stuff hilarious it's kind of sad that someone like Ronda gets so immediately discarded. She's still an important piece of the sport's history and I don't think she deserves the sad ending she's getting. I usually cheer on the underdog but for whatever reason when it comes to MMA I often enjoy watching the world beaters the most. Ronda was very cool to watch when she was on top.

Show did about 1.1 million buys. Meltzer did some impressive verbal Olympics when reporting this today since he has spent the past 6 weeks or so shitting on the UFC for running a Friday show. He admitted that the number was the same as Ronda's last fight, and about 400,000 more than he predicted, but the UFC was still fools for running a Friday show.
